It replaces the paper notebook and evening re-typing with a mobile app that works in the vineyard, even without a network connection, and synchronizes once the connection returns. Recording a treatment takes about thirty seconds. The grower types the first letters of a product name and Serment suggests matching products from E-Phy, the official French catalogue published by ANSES and updated every week. For each product, the app shows its authorized uses on grapevine, the maximum dose, the pre-harvest interval and the re-entry interval, and it flags a dose above the authorized maximum. Weather conditions at the time of the treatment are captured automatically from Météo-France. One entry can cover several plots at once, and recurring treatments can be saved as templates. The home screen shows the status of each plot: whether re-entry is allowed and from which date harvest is possible. Serment also tracks copper use against the European limit of 28 kg of metallic copper per hectare over seven years, reminds growers of recurring deadlines such as the Certiphyto operator certificate, sprayer inspections and products withdrawn from the catalogue, and places plots on the official cadastral map. The register follows the content and format set by EU Implementing Regulation 2023/564 and the French order of 24 December 2025, which introduce a digital, machine-readable register from 1 January 2027. It can be exported at any time as a PDF ready for an inspection, or as a CSV file. Each entry carries an integrity fingerprint; entries are never edited, only cancelled, so the original record remains. Data stays private: it is hosted in Europe and never shared with third parties. Serment is offered as a single plan with a 14-day free trial that requires no credit card, and phone onboarding is included during the first year.
