"Effortless Event Hosting with Seamless Recording Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I appreciate Sequel.io for hosting live events on our marketing website and also keeping the event recordings. I like having a platform that allows both live hosting and recording upload, avoiding the need to choose between the two. I enjoy the ability to embed recordings because we can keep our events on our marketing site instead of sending users elsewhere. Additionally, the initial setup of Sequel.io was straightforward, and putting the iframe on our marketing website was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

We haven't come across any issues we would like ot be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thanks for sharing your review! No complaints is always good to hear, and the use case you're describing (live events and on-demand recordings all living on your marketing site without routing people elsewhere) is exactly what Sequel is built for. Keeping that traffic on your own domain rather than sending it to a third-party URL makes a real difference in how attendees experience your brand.

Glad the setup was straightforward too. If you ever want to explore what else is available as your program grows, the team is always happy to help.

"Nice UI, but Poor Live Webinar Quality and Difficult Integrations"
2/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

The UI for both guests and presenters is nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

Integrating it with systems like Salesforce and HubSpot is not easy and requires a lot of continuing workflows for each new webinar. The quality of live webinars has been very poor. I also dislike the embedded widget on the site. It makes things like tracking conversions more work than other solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Clayton Stobbs of Sequel.io

Thank you for the detailed feedback, it's the kind that helps us get better. We take all feedback seriously and I'd like to explore the integrations and quality comments further. I'd also like to understand the conversion challenge since we're capturing more data with the embed hosted on your website. If you're open to it, you can reach out support@sequel.io or find me via in-app chat.

"Effortless Webinars with Seamless Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I love that Sequel.io integrates well with Hubspot, making it super helpful for our webinars. Having the webinars hosted on our domain and website is great as it makes joining easy and encourages people to stay longer. It also works nicely with Webflow, which hosts our website. The initial setup was very easy, and we could do it in-house with the support of the Sequel.io team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

It could be easier to repurpose content however we have a system for this internally that I imagine is unique to us Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thanks for your review. The HubSpot connection plus native hosting is really the combination that makes the data useful, so it's great to hear that's landing well. And the Webflow setup working smoothly in-house is exactly what we aim for. On the content repurposing side, we have a few exciting product releases coming up that I think will address exactly this. Happy to connect if that conversation makes sense.

"Cohesive Webinars with Intuitive Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I like the ease of use of Sequel.io. I've hosted third parties who came to our company for webinars, and they found it intuitive. It's been really easy to train new people on it. I also like the chat feature and the Q&A feature, which makes everything cohesive and easy to see. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy to understand when I joined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

I think the Q and A function, I would love if when I accepted a question, it populated on screen instead of just showing up in the chat. It can quickly get lost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thanks for your feedback! Glad to hear the onboarding experience clicked quickly, and that third-party presenters and other team members could jump in without much hand-holding. That's exactly how it should work.

Appreciate your feedback on the Q&A visibility and I'll share that directly with our product team.

"Great for Webinar Creation with Stellar User Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I find Sequel.io pretty user-friendly, with lots of capabilities within each event, like metrics reporting, integrations into HubSpot, and handling emails, making it a pretty robust event setup. It helps me by having all the information in one space, which is very user-friendly, even though some data still requires visiting HubSpot. I also appreciate that it integrates with HubSpot for creating exclusion and segmented lists, which is helpful. Overall, I like how the event information is mostly contained within Sequel.io, simplifying my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

NA Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thanks for sharing your feedback! Having registration, emails, metrics, and HubSpot sync all contained within the same workflow rather than jumping between tools is the kind of thing that compounds over time, especially when you're running segmented programs for different audience groups.

The ability to build exclusion and segmented lists directly through the HubSpot integration is one of those features that doesn't get talked about enough. Glad it's making the targeting side of your programs easier to manage.

"Effortless Data Sync with Sequel.io"
4/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I like that Sequel.io has made it a lot easier for the marketing and sales teams to stay on the same page after webinars. It eliminates the manual work and automatically syncs data over to HubSpot. The sync settings work really well for us, and the reason we got this tool is being met without any issues so far. Setting up Sequel.io was very easy, and the data sync is clean with nothing breaking. We get cleaner data in HubSpot, which we can then use for filtering or reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

Nothing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thank you for this. The marketing and sales alignment piece is one we hear a lot — when attendee data flows into HubSpot cleanly and automatically, follow-up actually happens on time and with the right context. Really glad the sync is working the way it should and that it's holding up in practice.

"Seamless Webinars with Effective Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I like the UX of Sequel.io; it looks really nice on our website and fits seamlessly in. I also appreciate being able to run series, which allows us to sign people up for one event and have them registered for future events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

It seems like a lot of the features are behind upgrades. We are having trouble with the series feature getting people to show up. But I don't think that's a problem with the platform. That's more user behavior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thanks for sharing your review. The series use case is one of my favorites. Getting someone to register once and carry them through a whole program is such a game changer.

The SEO and on-site experience angle you mentioned is real and underappreciated. Keeping attendees on your domain the whole time compounds over time in ways a third-party event URL never will.

"Streamlines Webinar Operations with Great Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I like the clean UI of Sequel.io, which makes it easier to manage our webinars. The support is great, consistently providing the help we need. I also appreciate the tons of functionality and options for customization, allowing us to adapt the platform to our specific needs. It streamlines our webinar operations and takes care of analytics post-webinar, which really helps us manage everything efficiently. Sequel.io makes the logistics stress-free, even with the large audience we handle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

I do think it's a little expensive. Also some aspects (especially in settings) is a little unintuitive. Global vs event-specific settings could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thanks for leaving this review. Running large-audience webinars without the logistics becoming a full-time job is exactly what Sequel should be doing, and it's good to hear the customization options are giving your team the flexibility to make it work for your specific setup.

The global versus event-specific settings distinction is useful, specific feedback. If you can share a few examples of where it felt unclear, reach out to our team. That level of detail helps us figure out whether it's a labeling issue or something that needs a more structural fix.

"Effortless Meetings and Exceptional Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I use Sequel.io for hosting internal meetings and tracking attendance, and it does a great job at that. The user interface is pretty simple and easy, and things are where they are expected to be. The staff has been very responsive to our needs and requests, offering help and unlocking features we found challenging. It was very easy to set up, and my team was up and running within hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

I'd like an easier implementation of two-way chat without having to grant speaker privileges to people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Glad to hear the setup was quick. Getting a team live within hours is exactly what it should feel like. The attendance tracking use case for internal enablement meetings is one we see working really well, and it's good to know the support team came through when you hit friction with features.

The two-way chat point is interesting. I'll make sure to share it with the team.
