"Keeps Webinars on Your Site with Deep Audience Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

The biggest advantage is that everything happens on your own site, registration, live session and replay so you don't lose traffic to third party platforms. It also provides deep audience insights by tracking behavior, before, during and after the webinar, which is great for pipeline and follow up. The UI is excellent and easy to navigate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

There can be some initial setup and learning curve, especially when integration it with your own website and CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Webinar Hosting with Room for Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I like how easy it is for any host to control slides, engage with the audience, and have a clear distinction between chat capabilities for the audience, the Q and A portion, and the backstage participants. It just makes it easy to host an event while keeping track of what's going on with the audience. It's great for small teams that are trying to do a lot all at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

I really don't like how small presentations look when you're doing any kind of speakers alongside it. I wish that it had the ability to control where you were positioning speakers like Zoom does on their webinars. The sequel background takes up way too much real estate, it would be better if there was a popout option when you embed it on the website. We really need to account for screen size when making slides which is not ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thanks so much for this feedback. The separation between audience chat, Q&A, and backstage is something that makes a real difference when you're a small team running a live event. Having those lanes clearly defined means you're not constantly context-switching mid-session to figure out what needs a response and what doesn't.

The presentation real estate issue when speakers are on screen alongside slides is worth getting in front of the product team with that level of detail. If you can share examples of what you're working around and what the ideal would look like, please reach out directly and I'm happy to get you connected with a member of our team. Layout flexibility for embedded events is an area we continue to develop, and concrete use cases help prioritize what gets built.

"Effortless Webinar Creation and Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I really appreciate Sequel.io for creating a great client experience. I find it very easy to use and intuitive, which is perfect for our small team that cannot afford to deal with complex products. This simplicity allows us to easily build and scale our webinar program. The reporting feature is another aspect I like. It's super easy to access and understand without needing to dig through data to decide what to send. Additionally, creating registration pages is straightforward, and they look nice, as do the corresponding emails, which align well with the creative from the registration page. Overall, Sequel.io has been very positive for us. Setting it up was also very easy, adding to its appeal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

Add-on functionality can get pretty expensive, pretty quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thank you for the very kind feedback! Small teams running webinar programs at scale without a dedicated ops person is exactly the use case Sequel's Growth plan is designed for, so it's good to hear that onboarding was easy and the reporting and registration workflow are working well for you.

"Streamlined Webinars with Custom Branding"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I like how Sequel.io lets us host webinars directly on our actual page without the need to redirect to Zoom or Google Meets. The branding functionality is great too because it allows me to keep the platform in my company's color, which looks luxurious. The automated emails for confirmation, registration, and recording are very helpful and save me a lot of time as I don't have to automate email workflows with HubSpot. Overall, I find Sequel.io to be better than standard tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

I think it's lousy that you need an advanced/more expensive subscription for full HD streaming. A subscription isn't cheap and we shouldn't be limited to 720p. It was also difficult to figure out the embed code section on WordPress, but only because I'm not a programmer - I figured it out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thanks very much for taking the time to leave this detailed feedback. The branding point you mentioned is one we care a lot about. A webinar that looks like an extension of your site rather than a third-party tool changes how the whole experience feels for attendees, and it's good to hear that's coming through.

The HD streaming tier issue a pricing and packaging decision, and it's useful to hear directly from customers where it creates friction. If you want to share more context around your use case and what full HD would unlock for you, I'd love to share it with our team - that kind of input does factor into how we think about what belongs at which tier.

On the WordPress embed, glad you got there. For anyone else on your team who might need to do it in the future, the support team can walk through it step by step.

"Easy to use webinar platform with solid features"
4/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

Very user-friendly interface and tools for running the webinar itself. The AI chat has been useful, and in the past we had a dedicated CSM who was great to have on-hand to Slack our questions - even if it was a last-minute webinar issue. Performance has been rock solid - no issues there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

The AI capabilities for content repurposing (slicing up the webinar recordings) were underwhelming. We were not happy with that feature - didn't end up using it at all because the clips it suggested were not great - not insightful and the video itself just didn't look good. This platform also costs more than other webinar platforms, if you're price sensitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Webinar Management But I'd love More Video Editing Features"
4/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I like using Sequel.io for hosting global and local webinars as well as recording and editing demo videos. The integration with Salesforce is very handy, and its better user experience is a big advantage compared to the outdated solution we used before. I appreciate that it's easy to set up webinars and sync them with CRM and our website. After the webinar ends, you don't have to manually convert it to an on-demand session since Sequel.io handles that automatically. With a small team, it's really beneficial that it doesn’t take a lot of time to manage webinars with Sequel.io. I've heard positive feedback from my colleagues regarding the synchronization part. Also, the initial setup was reportedly quite easy, thanks in part to the support from Sequel.io representatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

I'd love to have more video editing features. I was trying to edit a session that we wanted to put as an on-demand webinar and needed to cut out part of the video in the middle of the session and replace it with another one. I couldn't find how to do that, so I ended up using another program and uploading the video back into Sequel.io. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

The automatic on-demand conversion and Salesforce sync landing well for a small team is exactly the outcome we're building toward — less time managing the mechanics, more time on the content and follow-up.

Sorry to hear about your challenges with video editing. I'd love to connect you to a member of our team to help with this. Feel free to drop me an email at kathleen [at] sequel.io and I'll make that intro!

"Effortless Embedding, Engaging Webinars"
5/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I like that Sequel.io is embedded on our website, allowing us to generate leads from our webinar content even after the initial event without a lot of marketing operations work to change the form or sign-up process. The embedding feature keeps people on our website, so when we send people links to register or view, they're already on our site rather than being redirected to a third-party application. The initial setup was really easy; we got started immediately just by embedding a code on our website, and we were running. We were even able to edit the styling to match the rest of our website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

I want all the features! And some of them are gated behind higher tiers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thanks for sharing your feedback! The lead generation point after the initial event is one of the things we hear most from teams who've made the switch — not having to rebuild your ops workflow every time you want to repurpose content is a real time saver, and keeping registrants on your domain rather than handing them off to a third-party URL makes a difference in how that traffic behaves.

On the feature tiering, if there are specific features you're eyeing, it might be worth a conversation with the team. Feel free to email me directly at kathleen [at] sequel.io and I'll get you connected with someone who can walk you through what's available at your current tier and what the path looks like to get there.

"Effortless Webinars with Seamless Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I love how easy the Sequel.io platform is and the ability to integrate it directly into a website. We use Webflow, and having Sequel.io embedded on our website allows people to find and be redirected to events easily. It helps increase registration because it links through to HubSpot, automatically syncing emails once marketing communication is confirmed. It also gives us a new way of sending out email invites through Sequel.io. Additionally, it provides the opportunity to showcase the chat function and project events to LinkedIn Live. The initial setup was really easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

We currently don't have the drag and drop option because this is extra. So I think it will be good to include this as a standalone option instead of having to buy it as something that goes with the bigger options. Or just given this as a cleaner way of looking at creating emails for everybody who has the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thank you for sharing this, and it's genuinely great to hear the Webflow embed and HubSpot sync are working the way they should. Registration lift from keeping everything on your own domain, with email opt-in flowing straight into HubSpot, is one of those things that sounds straightforward but makes a real difference in practice.

On the drag-and-drop email builder, that's fair feedback on packaging. I'll make sure it gets to the right people on our team. If you want to share any additional context on how you're currently building emails and what would make it easier, feel free to reach out at success@sequel.io.

"Streamlined Webinars with Engaging Features"
5/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I like that Sequel.io helps keep our webinar program super organized and creates a great user experience for our customers and prospects. I feel like it's able to help us scale our virtual events program. I like the simplicity of the user interface, making it really easy to create new events and manage the backend experience of the webinar. I really like the networking features during the live webinars, especially the chat and Q&A functionality, which is great. We've seen an uptick in engagement from the attendees, which creates a more engaging experience for them and helps our webinar program succeed. Also, we integrate Sequel with HubSpot for the registration form and embed it on our website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

I think the small change I'd make would be a way to see if hosts have accepted your calendar invite. A lot of times I send an invite to hosts and don't know if they got it or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thank you for this, and really glad to hear the engagement uptick is showing up in a measurable way. That combination of chat, Q&A, and a clean attendee experience is exactly what we're going for, so it's great to know it's translating.

The calendar invite visibility point is a good one. I'll pass that along to our product team.

"Seamless Webinar Embedding, Exceptional Ease of Use"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sequel.io?

I love using Sequel.io because we can embed it directly into our LMS for customer webinars, which in turn, drives more awareness to our on-demand resources. We want to keep learners where they're already at, and Sequel allows for that. My team really likes how easy it is to set up webinars for different events and how flexible it is to embed them wherever we want. The interactivity is great, and we've had positive feedback from our attendees about the platform. Setup was fairly easy, and it was simple to get our branding set up and ensure webinars had the correct settings. Everything has been easy to manage so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequel.io?

Nothing at this time -- any questions or issues we've run into have been quickly resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Booth of Sequel.io

Thank you for sharing this. The LMS use case is a great one — keeping learners inside the environment they're already in, with live and on-demand content surfacing naturally alongside other resources, is exactly the kind of experience native embedding makes possible.

Really glad the setup and branding configuration landed smoothly, and that your attendees are noticing the difference.
