Creating emails for those who attended and who did not takes time, but with Sequel.io, that's part of the setup. The event analytics that appear after the event has ended is beneficial. You can visualize your top participants and see the chats that happened within the session. Within the list of participants of an event, there are filter options that are helpful. You can search for a name or email, add participants, or download the list to a csv. It integrates well with HubSpot so that I complete tasks there based on data from Sequel.io. I cannot speak to the AI component because I didn't use it. The onboarding for me was mainly reading through documentation and watching how-to videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Sequel.io? The first online event I held using Sequel.io didn't go very well. I usually have 75-100 people in each of my customer webinars. 7 or 8 of them in my first time using Sequel could not attend for one reason or another. Most of them were in the session but could not hear the presenters or see the shared screen. They were only able to interact with the chat window. I had one customer who could not sign up for the event at all. The page just showed him that he did not have access. The sessions do not remember your primary devices like microphone and camera, so remember to set those each time. At least, that's the behavior I experienced. For one event, a presenter could not get the microphone to work at all. She had to clear her cookies to make it work again. This particular behavior had me reaching out to support two hours before the event. The only option I could find was chat support. There's no number to call. The customers I work with have to utilize firewalls just because of the nature of their work. Support tried to help me troubleshoot why 7 of my customers could not join a session. They couldn't find a specific reason, but I believe it was a firewall issue. The answer to this problem is for the customer to use a mobile device that is not on the company's network or a hotspot. Not a great solution when you're showing in-depth information about a product. Unfortunately, I had to go back to using Zoom. Other departments in my company still use Sequel.io, but I couldn't afford to have 7-10% of my customers not be able to register or attend webinars. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. The ability to embed webinar directly onto a landing page and keep users on our site is valuable, and creates a more seamless experience for our audience than previous tools. Despite mentioning in every initial call (discovery, intro and onboarding) that analytics was the primary reason we were exploring another platform, we were not told (and actually misinformed) about the fact that API access is only available with the full business plan. We told the sales rep multiple times that access to granular reporting and analytics, and the ability to pass this data to other systems was essential for us, and we also made it clear we would be going for the Growth plan (this was already a much higher monthly investment than we were used to), and at no point did she say we wouldn't have access to this - she repeatedly told us we would be able to achieve this. The same thing happened in all subsequent calls until we tried to access this data and we were only then told this wouldn't be possible, and there was no option for this to be an add-on - we had to upgrade to the full business plan. This was a massive oversight in their sales process and if they had been clear from the start that what we required needed business plan access, it would have saved us a huge amount of time. The AI generated videos are also of pretty poor quality and the editing/ customisation functionality is basic. Overall, with the above in mind, the growth plan is overpriced - you can get access to the majority of the same features (if not better for some things) for half the price.
