The lag of time the platform took to update at the beginning of the month dictated how soon we could complete reporting tasks and get them out the door. A shorter update period would allow users to be able to complete reporting earlier, meaning reports are getting to the client closer to the beginning of the month when monthly-review calls are happening instead of following them.
