"Sentieo"
5/5
What do you like best about Sentieo by AlphaSense?

Sentieo is the best tool out there for sharing research across the team, keeping a single record of our work, the evolution of our investment theses, and collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sentieo by AlphaSense?

Market data is not quite at the same level as Bloomberg, then of, course, nothing is. That said, we've seen continual improvement, and while data across asset classes is sparse, for equity analysis, it covers all the bases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great product with user-friendly interface."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sentieo by AlphaSense?

The ability to open multiple tabs within same window (vs. multiple browser tabs). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sentieo by AlphaSense?

Two main dislikes:

-redlining is not very accurate. Sometimes it’s not new wording but a paragraph that they moved elsewhere they show as new added verbiage even though it was there in the previous filing. Redlining also isn't available for foreign filers.

-ble generation - if a company removes a table from the latest filing they can’t seem to generate any of the historicals even though they are still in the historical filings Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for SEC Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sentieo by AlphaSense?

The Document Search functionality is great. I frequently use this for peer reviews of SEC filings. I also appreciate using Table Explorer on the financial statement tables. It makes it easy to aggregate information in an exportable format (to Excel). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sentieo by AlphaSense?

I don't find it easy to perform some of the same searches on Document Search (e.g. followed tickers, 10-Q and 10-K only). I may need to refresh myself on the best way to perform this Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent product serving the entire workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Sentieo by AlphaSense?

Integrating insights from across the platform in the Notebook tool is seamless. The addition of the web clipper ties together everything inside and outside very well. The mobile app performs better than expected, with more functionality than most challenger apps to Bloomberg Anywhere. Apart from chat functionality, this could serve as a complete replacement tool for most equity data terminals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sentieo by AlphaSense?

Having the terminal based in a browser rather than an application with multiple windows means the experience is full window or nothing desktop array of functions. Pop-out optionality for components of the platform may solve this issue. The only other UX-related issue pertains to the inability to store and reload the last view on login. Startup screen can be defined in the settings, but it would be helpful to have the option to store a variety of tabs and reload them on login. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
