Senf is community engagement software built for private-sector planning, design and engineering firms. Every project gets a website in the client's branding, surveys with interactive map questions and a dashboard that charts responses as they arrive, so the per-project patchwork of SurveyMonkey or Survey123 plus a Wix site drops out. Set up in under 3 minutes: Upload an RFP or scope of work and Senf builds a client-branded project around it, with the study area already on the map and a draft survey ready to edit. It's free to build and use in your proposal; you license it when the project goes live. Collect spatial input, online and on paper: Residents mark points, routes and areas on the map, or comment on your site plan placed to scale. Surveys offer 15 question types, including ranking and participatory budgeting, and translate automatically into Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog and more than a dozen other languages. The survey also prints as a PDF, and completed paper forms scan back into the same dataset. Analyze without the Excel step: AI sorts open-text comments by theme and sentiment, cutting analysis time by 70–90%, and your team can ask its own question of every response and get the answers as a column to filter and chart. Every tag stays editable. One response per device is the default, suspicious entries are flagged for review, and anything your team excludes stays on record. Hand off to GIS and the client: Map responses sync to ArcGIS Online as they arrive and existing ArcGIS layers can be imported, while GeoJSON and Shapefile exports cover QGIS. Charts export as PNG, SVG or PDF for the engagement summary, and campaign links with QR codes show which outreach channel brought in people who took part. Pricing is published: a free tier for proposals, a license per project, or an annual license for firms running several projects a year. Both licenses include unlimited users. Senf has supported 600+ planning projects; US clients include Design Collective, McKenna, Torti + Gallas, Spicer Group and Bohler Engineering.
