Here's my top 7 things I like about Sendy :

1. Saves lot of money

2. Nice and Clean User Interface

3. Autoresponder support

4. Client login access

5. Not depends on any CMS (Content management system, ex: wordpess)

6. Full report of campaign you sent

What do you dislike about Sendy?

1. No template support

2. No RSS to Email

What problems is Sendy solving and how is that benefiting you?

I found that once I switched from MailChimp to Sendy, my open rate and click-through rate on my emails was far larger than prior. I also believe that sending through Amazon SES in and of itself increases the likelihood that your email will make it to your reader as opposed to being tagged as spam. The support is poor. It seems like one guy called Ben provides all the support and he chooses which requests will be responded to and which will be blocked.

What do you like best about Sendy?

The bounce rate when sending emails through Sendy is significantly lower than other email platforms. I also like the simplicity of the platform, really easy to use and navigate. Another great component about Sendy is the low cost! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sendy?

Sendy does not have the list segmenting feature that will do a 2nd send to those recipients who “did not open the 1st send”. Sendy will also not give you access to the list of unopened recipients when multiple campaigns are sent out simultaneously (it only shows it for last campaign sent out). Sendy allows us to use email marketing to reach out to prospective leads. We have moved from Sendy from a previous email tool because it resolved the issue of high bounce rates we were having. What do you like best about Sendy?

Sendy is a creator of email marketing campaigns with attractive templates, its interface is friendly, clear and intuitive, it is a much more accessible software than similar ones, it is in comparison as Constant Contact but much cheaper and simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sendy?

The truth is that I would like to have better support for specific designs for all customers, but it is good for small businesses that are started, it is cheap and meets the necessary requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sendy?

It's like Mailchimp is the iOS version of email marketing and Sendy is the Android counterpart. It's for those who like to get their hands on. It requires some configuration, setup, some html and other basic concepts that any webmaster should have, but it's gonna make your life way easier without breaking the bank.

Although it is meant to work mainly with Amazon SES, it integrates with any SMTP login. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sendy?

It could have an option to integrate smtp globally and not per brand, but there is probably some plugin out there that solves that problem.

It also could have better automatic segmentation, but Sendy is on the way to greatness, improving at each version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is still missing a features from mail chimp. There is no template support at the moment and I could not find a way to convert an RSS to email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The DIY support could be a bit better. I had to find Youtube videos from other sources to configure my email server to work with Sendy. Especially Chronjob support should be automated, that will break your whole system if you don't do it and it feels like an afterthought. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
