Sendspark is a tremendous all-around resource and software for personal, business, and everything. I like the 1080p recording capability, the folder system to organise your videos, and the clear and smooth workflow to record, upload, and share your videos. The app speed is good and responsive. I hope their browser-based video editor will support cutting off the middle parts of videos soon (it's on the roadmap). For now it can only trim the beginning and end of videos. Also sometimes the video editor doesn't show so you need to go back to the dashboard and enter the video folder again to use it, but that may be just my PC.

I found it very easy to get started with the platform. After signing up it only took me 10 minutes to add my branding and create my first 'spark'. The interface is very intuative, and once you've created a video there are notifications to let you know when it's been viewed as well as an analytics panel on the platform. So far the only issue I've had is the interface appears to have been updated since the help videos have been recorded. This just meant I had to look around the screen to see where the button being referred to was located. And that wasn't a big issue. All very positive so far. Sendspark is excellent for sales outreach. The chrome extension is reliable, the interface is clean, videos can be personalized at scale, and videos can be requested (ex: capturing video testimonials from clients). Sendspark is built with a purpose. It doesn't try to be everything to everyone. The stated use cases are sales, marketing, and customer relationship building. When founders respond too much to feature requests from early users, it's easy to create a Frankenstein that's feature-rich but difficult to use. I've experienced this with other video tools that I've purchased in the past. I listened to an interview with the co-founder and CEO, Bethany, and she explained why she started Sendspark. Based on that interview, I'm optimistic that Sendspark will only continue getting better. Sendspark is an excellent solution as-is, but I believe they'll continue adding features incrementally and purposefully rather than rushing them out the door haphazardly. I wish they had an option for a desktop application. While the chrome extension works well, I occasionally experience issues where a website won't allow video recording. This issue has nothing to do with Sendspark. It's related to chrome extension permissions. Loom offers a desktop application, which provides a great workaround. I've been looking for a service that allows me to personalise sales and onboarding videos for customers and it's been difficult to find one that does exactly what I need. There are a few services which allow names to be automatically added as variables, but I wanted to create videos which can have personalised intros so that it can be opened with a verbal welcome for individuals. Sendspark has an easy to use GUI and have been recently adding integrations with different CRM's and mailing services. I'm excited to see the impact that introducing this service to my customers will have!

Sendspark gets it right. They don't try and overengineer things or overdesign them. It looks stylish and clean, which matters when dealing with customers. The simplicity of it means that you can work your brand in seamlessly. One thing I love that I didn't even realize they had until I started using it was the ability to request videos. This is great when helping a customer when they have trouble, and you can just send them a request to send you a video of the screen being recorded without having to have an account. Awesome!
