SendBird is packed with features in terms of messaging suitable APIs and SDKs for all popular frameworks and tons of customization options for all business needs with the utmost security and highly scalable to accommodate millions of users with low latency and support cross-platform such as iOS, Android helps to integrate in sorts of application. Best-in-class design provides a consistent user experience. One-stop solution for providing customer support features with great experience.

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

The foremost thing is complicated pricing strategy makes it hard to choose the right plan with all the necessary features packed. Integration and tons of customization options make the learning curve a bit harder and not easy to implement and use.

**What problems is Sendbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a small team of customer support but we don't want to build the entire chat system from scratch and spend time and money on the development, infra, and maintenance etc., SendBird provides the necessary features built-in with plug-and-play options where we can ready to continue business with ease and the newly launched AI features are very useful in satisfying the customer needs.

I like that it allows students and staff to engage with one another which in return brings us closer and makes issues or ideas brought to the front, and makes things more openly spoke about which in turn makes things better I feel. 

I have also noticed that since launch I feel from previous years that students have been able to meet up with each other and makes friends easier too, which can be very daunting when first turning up to University Halls.

There could be some extra videos in helping or tips on use so everyone gets the most out of using it.

It is helping solve the problem of engagement being up to date with one another.

I like that Sendbird makes customer support simple and efficient. It has an easy to use interface, lets you check metrics with iframes, and includes automatic AI replies that save time and improve response quality.

initial setup and integration can be a bit tricky for new users. But once that’s done, the platform works well and gives a smooth experience for customer support.

Sendbird helps manage customer support easily with a clear communication platform. I can track performance and user engagement using iframes, and the automatic AI replies make sure customers get quick responses, even after hours. This improves customer satisfaction and saves time for the support team.

The most helpful thing about Sendbird is, that this is an all-in-one package for Customer Engagement & Customer Support tool with an Agent's login with user & access management and an SDK for mostly all code bases which helps the implementation so easier.

It has all the features built-in but it doesn't feel easy to integrate other third-party systems like other ticketing and CRM systems.

Our product needed a customer support tool with minium or no code solution where we can integrate with our react native  code base. Send bird is only tool which we can able to get all features in plug in mode. Now we don't need to worry much about the development of Customer Support where we  will focusing on the core of the product.

Sendbird already offers various chat APIs. It’s an excellent platform where you can apply the appropriate APIs without the need for developing them yourself. If you’re considering introducing chat functionality, this is the easiest and best solution.

There are times when service disruptions occur due to internal server errors in Sendbird. Since it’s likely to be used for commercial services, it would be great if more attention were given to server management.

Sendbird helped us get our Chat service off the ground quickly and without having to develop a ton of backend overhead so that we could evaluate the feature offering for our users. This saved us a ton of time developing a custom solution simply to evaluate the market fit.

Unfortunately, we found that market fit didn't justify the cost of Sendbird in the long term.

We've reached a plateau in terms of the rates as we've reached the highest volume already in their tiered pricing. Perhaps a consideration for further discount as we've been hitting more than twice of the highest tier.

How complete the documentation was, it was fairly simple to integrate.

Customer support took a bit longer to respond than expected, it was a fairly simple issue (a typo on our side, totally our fault), I believe it could've been resolved faster than it was.

It is helping us send out reminds all across our patients, and it has been a breeze to analyze how users are reacting to this notifications.

Sendbird provides all the tools to build a fully digital, modern chat experience. The product is very flexible and scalable. They support custom feature development which allowed us to build unique features and differentiate ourselves in the market. Fast go-to-market and a great team of engineers.

Nothing really. We had a great experience so far and looking forward to working together for many years.

**Recommendations to others considering Sendbird:**

I would highly recommend Sendbird to anyone who wants to build a chat application in their app. All great in terms of features, time to market and support.

We were able to digitize our customer service %100 and closed the phone line & emails. We built a continuous & asynchronous messaging experience for our customers in the app. Both non-customers and existing customers can chat with us as if they are chatting with their friends on WhatsApp.

**What do you like best about Sendbird?**

As a bootstrapped startup with a small team, Sendbird has allowed us to add a best-in-class community experience to our product with the flick of a switch. Our chat feature has become one of our user's favorite parts of the app, and has greatly improved our retention.  Their customer support reps are always available to help, and we've been able to easily scale their service as we've grown.

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

Data export is not supported on our current plan.

**What problems is Sendbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sendbird provides a complete community/chat experience for us. Their service has allowed us to easily experiment with different types of chat (public groups, private groups, direct messages, etc)  so we could find the best experience for our users.

**What do you like best about Sendbird?**

The complexity of implementing a messaging solution in-house is prohibitive, but sendbird makes it relatively simple. The performance is great, and we haven't experienced any downtime. The dashboard is easy to use. We have a good relationship with support, PMs, and solution architects at sendbird as well.

The new AI Chatbot feature is exciting, and the dashboard makes it easy to use and understand.

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

We have had issues with the react native SDKs that have required a considerable amount of back and forth with the sendbird team (and eventually required a fix). This delayed one of our releaeses.

**What problems is Sendbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without sendbird it would be prohibitively time consuming and expensive to provide in app chat across users on our platform.

**What do you like best about Sendbird?**

A lot of things are well documented, making it really easy for the developers to work on it. Dashboard is also really good and easy to use, and there are a lot of configurations you can do without touching the code. Customer Support has been really good and they are really present in the day-to-day.

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

Some parts of the UIkit are not easy to play around or not that customizable. In one hand, it really saves a lot of work because you start with a nice foundation when you use it, but it can get really hard to customize after a while and then you may need to rewrite whole views.

**What problems is Sendbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sendbird is helping my company to have more engaged customers, that are more prone to continue using the platform and coming back for more. By allowing customers to talk to each other, a number of other (and often more complex) features are not needed anymore, as they can arrange and regulate each other, creating a more organic platform.

Quick, easy. I can see when my message has been seen, for my own verification. I am also able to see when I am being responded back to in real time.

It would be helpful to know if the receiver is online and when the last time they were active.

Problems unknown. I randomly will be signed out or will lose my connection to the SB server. These issues have seem to be more rare now days.

**What do you like best about Sendbird?**

The dashboards Sendbird provides are quite informative. You can track down every single user down to their every bit of information and this makes troubleshooting rather easy. The UI design of the web dashboards is intuitive and seamless to navigate through. The updated mobile SDKs have significantly improved memory profiling.

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

It's not opensource. But, that's understandable, when you try to monetize something.

**What problems is Sendbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sendbird provides us the option to design in-app chatting, which beyond initial integration is very easy to maintain. This saves a lot of time for developers and managers alike. It also provides the option of media storage(media and thumbnail), if you opt for it.

**What do you like best about Sendbird?**

We evaluated many possible solutions for our in-app chat project, including building our own. Ultimately we went with Sendbird because they have a mature feature set, competetive pricing, and a solid stability track record. Working with them on our build process has been a joy and since launching about a month ago everything is working as expected. Bottomline is that they have delivered on what they promised, and that's all I want from my 3rd party solutions.

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

So far it's been overwhelmingly positive, but if I had to point to something, their mobile UIkit could be better. It's serviceable, but eventually we plan to use their API and build our own UIkit.

**What problems is Sendbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using their SDK and APIs to facilitate our in-app chat communications across two Android, and two iOS apps, as well as a React-based web application. Eventually we'll make use of their moderation features as well.

**What do you like best about Sendbird?**

We have almost never seen a downtime at Sendbird in past 2 years. There has been minimal intervention from our tech team in running the chat functionality on our app smoothly.
The ability to broadcast messages to all the chat accounts is a very good feature. We have been able to broadcast latest news etc to our users.

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

It would be good if sendbird could have better analytics. We wanted to analyze the number of chats for a user, how quickly a user replies on any chat etc, but there is no easy way to do that. Even if we export all the chat data, it is extremely hard to build those analytics.

**What problems is Sendbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sendbird is able to provide us with an easily integratable chat platform and it runs smoothly. We just had to use the android and iOS SDKs and some backend integration to get the whole chat setup up and running.
We also get to broadcast our latest updates on the chats with our users.

- it seems their target are smaller companies, so the environment configuration options are somewhat limited,

The speed to implementation was critical for our early stage startup. We were able to leverage Sendbird to get our application up and running within a two week period from idea to launch.

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

Sendbird is still working through some scalability constraints with its chatbot functionality. We are limited to only 10 chatbots which is not ideal for our use case.

We need to build a chatbot on the ChatGPT stack. Sendbird provides us the required backend and UI in order to make that happen. This has allowed us to quickly get to market with our product.

Features are fairly robust and there are consistent updates, so I feel like there's effort being made to scale up and take customer feedback into consideration.

So far, Sendbird works well for user to user messaging, but features for admin messaging could be improved. We'd like the option to include images for Announcements and to automatically segment users based on things like geo, within Sendbird.

Enables our users to communicate directly with each other, enables us to send weekly update messages to target user segments. Also enables us to create different channels for different user typs.

- Services are highly scalable to the millions of users
- We've been using chat services and we're pretty much satisfied as SendBird is able to fulfill our needs gracefully
- Chat Service content Moderation/Moderator support is awesome
- The API Documentation is well maintained 
- The Integration with different Platforms using SDKs is more accessible and more customizable
- Customer support is super active and responds in time to all required concerns/queries

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

All good, except:
- Some APIs/SDKs available on different platforms don't have the same functionality.
(i.e some functions may be available in v3 or one SDK but the same would be available in v4 of another SDK)
- The Pricing

We're using Sendbird for their Chat Service Solution, to create as many private chat conversation between our end users and do the moderation with a highly scalable option.
