What I love from Semantic UI React is how easy it is to integrate its components in any React application. With the out-of-the-box components you can build a very light and beautiful UI.
I first met Semantic UI with its jQuery version and chose it because of its visual simplicity. I did not really like other libraries' colors and/or designs, and by searching for alternatives I found Semantic UI. Since then, I always use it for my personal projects, and when speed is required also for professional ones.
So, when I started using React for SPAs, I obviously chose Semantic UI React and I am very happy with my decision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main thing I do not like about Semantic UI React is that customising their components can be really challenging. In my honest opinion, they abuse the CSS '!important' rule, which is a problem sometimes when you need to give a small cusomised look to their components (e.g., slightly change the color of a button).
A last thing I did not like about the React version of Semantic UI is that animations are not working as well as they did for its jQuery version. As an example, if you want to add an animation when modals open you have to do lots of workarounds with the Transition component. I mean, the transition does not come by default with the Modal component, and in some ocasions dealing with Transitions can be quite tedious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
