Selects by Cutback is an AI-powered video editing workspace for professional editors and production teams, built to turn raw footage into organized rough cuts. It reduces the manual work of syncing, reviewing, logging, and assembling footage so editors can start closer to the creative edit. Drop in a folder of footage and Selects syncs multicam and multitrack recordings, identifies speakers, transcribes footage, and organizes clips by topic and scene. Build a rough cut from a prompt or script, search for moments using spoken or visual references, compare takes, and remove silences or filler words—while keeping every edit adjustable and under your control. When you’re ready, hand off an organized, editable project to Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, complete with structured bins, labels, markers, and transcripts. Selects is built for interviews, podcasts, documentaries, scripted productions, and other footage-heavy workflows where preparation can take longer than the creative edit.
