# Anyone know how Seismic doc search can do a logical NOT to exclude uninteresting search results? Typing "green cars" in a Seismic doc search gives me hundreds of hits containing "green" OR "cars". But I want only hits of "green cars" not hits just containing "green" AND "cars" "green cars". By trial and error in the Seismic search I found that putting a period in the search string between does this AND search, good. So logical AND is done as "green.cars"... OK. But how does one add to the search a logical NOT? For example, "green.cars -fish" would do all hits for "green.cars" but exclude any hits containing the string "fish".
