What do you like best?

User interface can minimize as needed, so it provides more space for data visualization. This innovative multi-survey solution allows interpreters to perform structural and stratigraphic interpretation across many different vintages of 2D and 3D seismic data, while also integrating well data into their interpretation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

SeisEarth included with no. of effective benefits for Geological studies, interprets and much more; as much as close with my friends and getting their comments what can I say is "SeisEarth" is amazing software.

A simple, intuitive user interface and a highly ergonomic design make SeisEarth easy to learn and even easier to use. Section, map, and 3D views share the same data, and allow the user to go back and forth between views according to the task at hand. 2D and 3D seismic datasets can be visualized and interpreted in both time and depth domains. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

SeisEarth has been designed to take full advantage of your existing hardware to maximize your efficiency, whether you’re a single operator working on a laptop or a team using modern workstations with high-speed 3D graphics (GPU), very large memory, and multiple CPUs. Wonderful as recommended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Within few clicks user can customize the interface for effective data visualization.

High speed graphic feature enables the high advantages of the software.

Computer assistance for repetitive tasks reduces fatigue, enhances productivity.

Display of non-seismic vertical images.

Efficient manual and semi-automatic fault interpretation and snapping.

Volume roaming allows interpretation of multi-attribute surveys larger than workstation memory.

Regional scale interpretation allows insights that are not possible in multiple separate surveys.

Fault-horizon contacts calculated and editable on-the-fly.

High-quality maps with gridding, contouring and analysis capabilities.

Fault correlation polygon in 2D and 3D view, for comparing seismic data across faults and picking the best match. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I like that it fairly new compare to other software like Petrel or DSG. Especially 3D window looks much better than other ones. Also, I liked their supports a lot. Even if it is a newer program, it looks like their supports are pretty knowledgeable about the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It is fairly newer than other programs which creates a little problem. It needs more upgrade than other ones. It feels like it is not as comprehensive as Petrel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I recommend SeisEarth because it looks much newer and cooler than other old Software. Their support is always very helpful, and it looks like they know what they are doing. It always good to get beginning course from few different software, and see which one works best for you. Even if the main idea of all G&G programs are kind of same, they have slight differences in their internal structures. So, try few different ones, and whichever you like it the most, keep getting advance classes and improve your skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I was using SeisEarth for 2D-3D seismic correlation and well-correlation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

What I like best: the ability to work in 2D and 3D for interpretation; seismic attribute generation; well-tie tomography; and Stratimagic. Paradigm provides nearly all the tools I need for seismic interpretation. Customer support has also proven valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I do dislike the steep learning curve on almost any application, particularly on things that are not mainstream interpretation items, like well-tie tomography. Support for these is limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Make sure you understand the licenses needed to run different applications. We are surprised how some licenses are essential to several application licenses, but these small applications should have been incorporated into the bigger licenses. For instance, ExplorerMV should automatically be part of SeisEarth interpretation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are generating geomodels for full field simulations on all of our oil and gas fields. We went with Paradigm to do this most efficiently and thoroughly, and found good success compared to previous software configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
