"A great communication tool for teachers and students"
5/5
What do you like best about Seesaw?

This semester due to the pandemic, my daughter’s classroom used Seesaw to send school work and creative materials to her teacher. The first time using the Seesaw app we found it to be user friendly. What I like best is that you can upload work and type in notes or captions in the same image or document area. This saves a lot of time than having to upload an image or document then the caption second. I am so thankful for this platform as it has taught my daughter to improve her math skills through the block tools that are used and learning science application. What do you dislike about Seesaw?

As far as dislikes, I don’t like that there is no history section as of what was already sent to the teacher. Sometimes I have sent things twice if I wasn’t sure that I sent it before. I also wish there was more of a communication between parents and maybe a parents chat section so that play dates could be scheduled. That would have been nice. Something like a sharing of work or art content between kids and parents could monitor that section as well as communicate with one another.I also notice that when you are working on the mobile app and say you have your child to some writing or math/drawing work it's very hard to use your fingers. I think it's because the screen is so small so a stylus is definitely needed for this portion if you are working from the mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seesaw is easy to implement and the students love it!"
5/5
What do you like best about Seesaw?

Seesaw allows me to assign meaningful activities that my students love! It is straightforward to do and does not take a long time to learn how to do. I love that I can assign activities ahead of time, not only the day but the time! We started to use this because of the pandemic, but we plan to use it for many years to come! What do you like best about Seesaw?

I love the interaction I can have with my daughter and her teachers while she is at school. It is a great tool for parents and teachers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seesaw?

I dislike that I am unable to save an individual picture from a post. It requires saving all the pictures of the post rather than only the ones I want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great platform for K-2 grade"
4/5
What do you like best about Seesaw?

Seesaw is simply the best platform for Kindergarten through second grade. It is highly visually oriented and very easy to navigate. I love the camera tools to help students create videos and pictures easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seesaw?

It's hard to write more than a sentence. For 3-5 grades it's hard to have students write without having to leave to write in another tool. A good text box is needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seesaw for first grade"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Seesaw?

It was very good for remote learning. Now that we are back in schoolI'm using it more for parent communications. They can leave me messages and I can post pictures from our class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seesaw?

I don't like that the code now expires in one hour for sign in when adding parents or students. That makes it difficult to send home the information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful Ed Tech Tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Seesaw?

See Saw is very user-friendly for both teachers and students.

Students can use drawing, photo, voice, and video.

Teachers can create assignments or choose from already created resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seesaw?

Each student needs a QR code to access, which is unique. When a student loses their QR code, they need assistance.

See Saw does not work very well as a phone app.

See Saw requires internet access, so if students do not have wifi at home, they cannot access it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great parent communication platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Seesaw?

I like the accessibility for both the teacher, parent, and student on this app! It is effective for different age groups as well. I also like how it works well web based or on app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seesaw?

Unlike Class Dojo, you have to manually copy and paste messages to a select group of parents.

I also wish there was a feature to do group messages with parents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes virtual learning easier"
5/5
What do you like best about Seesaw?

The most helpful thing about Seesaw is that it helps make virtual learning easier; teachers are able to keep digital portfolios of their students, which helps connect the teacher to the student and the teacher can get a better idea of how the student is actually doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seesaw?

Something I dislike about Seesaw is that it is not very user friendly. Many of my students are a hard time navigating the platform, and some have not posted at all because they have not figured out how to do so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
