  ### 3. Better than LinkedIn Talent Solutions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2020

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

SeekOut produces more results than LinkedIn. I actually do a side by side and somehow SeekOut pulls through more quality candidates and more in terms of quantity. My favorite part is the diversity filters. I sometimes get 300 resumes and none of them are diverse so, I would do a specific search for that role. On top of that, I am able to get e-mails and phone numbers to connect with those who don't respond via LinkedIn Messaging. Honestly, there is a free 7 day trial, so it doesn't hurt to try it out and see for yourself.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I am not a huge fan of their AI function. I haven't had much success, but it's possible that my titles aren't very typical and we are looking for a niche industry

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

Do the 7-day trial

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Diversity Hiring, Removing bias from the Resume Screening process, and being able to connect with more candidates because of the ability to contact them directly.

  ### 4. Good product intuitive to use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2022

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I like how easy it is to find results for relevant profiles using SeekOut. Very easy to get up and running.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Nothing that I can think of to critique.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing a more diverse talent pool into the hiring process for my company. It's been much easier for me to find a wide range of candidates from a variety of backgrounds.

  ### 5. SeekOut, a great diversity hiring tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2022

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

The ease of mavigating and populating diversity folks

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

The integration with other tools could have been better

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Diversity when it comes to hiring is on the top of our minds. I think it is so important to have an understanding of the talent pool and the diversity breakdown to work with data-driven approach to educate stakeholders.

  ### 6. Like LinkedIn Recruiter on Steroids

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I love that not only does SeekOut give you all the contact data you get on a LinkedIn Recruiter seat, and then some, but it also has an amazing technical feature that links candidates' Github repositories and even rates them!

I also really like the ML/AI tools that SeekOut has built into their product. This allows me to take a great candidate profile and use AI to "clone" them and find similar profiles. Another tool, "AI Matching", is used to find candidates using job titles, company names, and geographic locations to add to or build into your customized search projects. And one more final great feature that SeekOut offers, is their "Insights" tool.
Here they use their enormous and complex database to give you, and your hiring manager insights into your talent pool, by giving data on the number of individuals with specific titles in a certain city, state, etc.

Like LinkedIn Recruiter, I can create and build groups as well as messaging campaigns which I can also share with my team members.

All of these great tools and features are included in SeekOut (there's a base/standard and an IT/technical version) for less than a LinkedIn Recruiter seat. It's a fantastic tool at a phenomenal value.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

The one small opportunity for improvement that I have seen in using SeekOut is in their Messaging Campaign function. The emails that you send out (thankfully they're set out to go through your email), could look a little "cleaner". I have sent out emails that come back looking like the font or font size were not always consistent throughout the message, even when it looks that way while I'm creating the template. To counter this, I send myself a test message, to see if or where there are any font inconsistencies. Also, there are only about a half a dozen fonts to choose from, so if you're pasting from emails or other documents into SeekOut from other sources that may have been created using a font that is not in their library, that could cause issues.

These are things that I feel can and will be addressed very quickly as SeekOut has shown to be very responsive in their customer service requests.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With SeekOut, I have found a very cost-effective sourcing tool for my work. It can do what a LinkedIn Recruiter seat subscription can do (and then some) at less than 1/2 the price.

  ### 7. Very impressed - Super fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cindy J. | Engagement Leader & Recruiting Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2022

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

Adding in a Job description and having the AI match 10 candidates - it is almost always spot on!

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I am still trying to learn the other features. I think once I set up campaigns, it will be great. I just need to do it .

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More time speaking with candidates and less time searching.

  ### 8. Great software to use for Recruiting!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Having to get admin permission to make campaigns. I never got it

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

When I begin my next project I look forward to attending some of the webinars and tutorials that will asssit me as a Sourcer

  ### 10. A strong AI Sourcing Platform, with great Customer Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George M. | Service Delivery Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2020

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

An intuitive design, with strong power filters and a focus on Diversity & Inclusion. Backed up by an engaged and supportive customer success team.

SeekOut have been a fantastic partner as we look to diversify our reliance on LinkedIn.

New integrations with CRM / ATS systems has allowed us to set SeekOut as our primary Sourcing Platform as part of a multi-provider HR Technology Stack.

Various license types and costs allows us to be flexible with the type of licenses each of our teams have, allowing it be a cost-effective solution compared to others in the market - with us only paying for the level of access we need.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Still a young company with lots of room for improvement and a large development pipeline, but they listen to feedback and take it onboard. It is great to be on the journey with them.

The majority of the data is through LinkedIn, so cost becomes a major differentiator here. Better scope outside of LinkedIn would certainly improve SeekOut's place in this market.

The development of their Training Academy is a welcome addition but it would be great if this could be fed into other LMS platforms such as Social Talent.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A solid replacement for LinkedIn Recruiter (especially the RPS/Lite offerings). Offers much more flexibility for our Sourcing Teams to identify, engage and deliver prospective talent. The analytics and contact data toolset allows us to consider SeekOut as our platform across a number of our Workforce Tech Channels.

Our ability to provide diverse sourcing solutions through either "Blind Hiring Mode" or proactive power-filters as been an excellent addition to our solutions.

  ### 11. Technical Sourcer

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Have specific number of export credits can be frustrating if you don't have enough but it's a business thing.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not really any problems. Benefits are finding candidate from all different sources in one tool/search

  ### 12. Great for new and seasoned folks in recruiting.

SeekOut has made diversity sourcing easy. The Diversity tags are amazing.

The tool is organized in different categories, having the option of projects, exporting candidates, saving searches, a diversity filter, etc.

  ### 26. When it comes to having an excellent package for recruitment, SeekOut stands as of the best tools!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suhail M. | Talent Advisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

Seek out stands as one the best hiring tools where we can use the power of Boolean & X-Ray searches to source candidates from LinkedIn, Github, etc. The upsides include, the accuracy of searches is quite good. There are some fantastic features like AI matching, Talent Insights, Blind search, where we can source without any gender bias. Also, we get contact details for some candidates who otherwise may not be available on LinkedIn. It lets you download the list of candidates in an Excel format which is quite helpful. The diversity filter is quite useful as well as it lets you source for diverse candidates which otherwise is not available on many recruiting tools. This has solved a major problem at my organization. We can now get in touch with candidates in realtime using the email ID and contact number provided by Seekout. Last but not the least, the dashboard lets you take a sneakpeak at your projects, sourcing activity, recent search, etc. , which is quite handy.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Costing could be better, and the SeekOut team can improve the search engine optimization. AI obviosuly takes time to learn, hence, the SeekOut team can definitely improve this feature by training the brain over time. Also, if the search database coud include sources beyond LinkedIn and Github, it would be fantastic. This would incease the pool of candidates and let users choose from a larger audience.

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

To all others who are looking for an enhanced search tool and recruitment solution, I would suggest taking a look at SeekOut and would not regret it. It's time to move beyond traditional channels and tools to the latest and most accurate AI-based tools and explore the power of AI in recruitment.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring Needs as we hire in volume and require a larger pool of candidates to source from, Contact details which is easy to get if even if the candidate has not made the details public, X-Ray search to source for niche requirements where they use Web Search to soruce from multiple avenues.
Benefits include AI martching, accurate search, easy to access contact details, Diversity filter, etc.

  ### 27. Very easy to use. Lots of qualified candidates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

The ability to search for diversity candidates

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

The UI could be a bit more user-friendly but still can use.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding hidden gem of candidates. I can now find diversified candidates.

  ### 28. Potential cost savings vs. LinkedIn Recruiter/Lite

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2020

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

Nothing comes to mind to list here. I am a strong advocate for this tool, it combines what you can get with Gem + LinkedIn at a fraction of the cost.

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

Do it, you won't regret it if you actually take the time to use it. If you're a Sourcer, this should become your best friend.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like mentioned above, replaces a few tools if you're clever and your company is worth joining.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel N. | Director of Talent Aquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

In a market with LinkedIn tried to control the majority of market share, there are not many products that are more efficient, effective, accurate and affordable outside of Seeekout

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Accuracy of contact information can be frustrating at times

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

It's a great tool for technical sourcers and for organizations that hire recruiters that think "outside" of the box. If you are a company that relied on 1000's of applicants and you are effectively sifting through applications then its not the right product but in today's market proactive outreach is critical and when it comes to identifying, targeting, engaging, and hiring the most diverse grouping of candidates, Seekout really gets the job done

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding candidates from a more diversified pool. The tool also helps filter out and find the person as well as the skillset

  ### 33. Using your search string to it's fullest potential

You cannot send mass messages to people in your candidate pool, you have to individually open up each LinkedIn profile and message the person.

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

This resource is a great ADDITION to your other recruiting resources like LinkedIn Recruiter. I would not replace LinkedIn with Seekout.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a diverse candidate slate for the organization that I am supporting has been extremely challenging. There are so many different ways that you can target diverse candidates through SeekOut.

Being able to add candidates to an already existing campaign is helpful.
The interface is fairly clean. Easy to look at over long searching sessions.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

We should have automatic reimbursement for emails that get bounced back. I'd also like to suggest that using available data that the system suggests possible business addresses for those missing.
The way that the filters work is a bit wonky. It would be very helpful to be able to look at the filters and the top of the page as you scroll.
Being able to add candidates directly to a messaging campaign would save time.

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

The tool is good, but it is very dependant on LinkedIn, and since it can only look at public profiles, your search results will have gaps. You will need to supplement the tool with LinkedIn usage and communication.
The email addresses that the tool provides are pretty hit or miss, but they give you another shot at contacting a candidate.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it as a search engine for candidates. It works well for that.

  ### 35. Excellent Sourcing Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I love how SeekOut is constantly presenting NEW talent I have never seen before. It is straightforward to use, and more importantly, I am getting better and more accurate candidates based on my search criteria. SeekOut is very efficient and has made my job easier!

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I don't particularly like how it does not integrate with all of the different platforms we have; as a result, it can take some time to cross-reference every platform to ensure I (or a colleague) has not already reached out.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is bringing new talent we have never seen before on other platforms. The AI technology is genuinely out of this world.

**Official Response from Ed Pedini:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback - we're thrilled to be helping bring new talent into your organization!

  ### 36. A great resource for a targeted sourcing approach

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I really enjoy Seekout's ability to write boolean in the search engine. It allows me to have more control in what I am looking for.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

The least helpful thing with Seekout is their email addresses. They are often inaccurate which can cause some frustration. I use other tools to help support this issue.

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

I think that Seekout is a fantastic tool to have on your toolbelt. I encourage everyone who is sourcing in tech to checkout the Github tab.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I also use Seekout for talent mapping purposes. This allows me to chat with hiring managers about the current landscape and demographics of certain areas.

  ### 37. Seekout review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro C. | Global Talent Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

The possibility of filtering prospects by diversity tag is great. This is one of the most important key differenciators when pipelining know a days and Seekout definetly makes this easy to identify.

Boolean searches work more precise than on LinkedIn which helps get the ideal candidates in less time

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Seekout can only scrape public LinkedIn profiles, not those we can see in LinkedIn Recruiter. All profiles set to private are not indexed at all or just contain the information up until the point in time they were set to private

Some profiles brought up are not up to date with LinkedIn Current roles.

Sometimes the search stops and it takes a bit more time than it should which makes us loose time

Profiles that are brought are only profiles found in LinkedIn and it would be better if it brings profiles from other places

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building diverse pipelines for current and future needs in the company. The Gender tags make this faster and easier when trying to build these.

Build pipelines for future needs proactively.

Getting more insights than usual for all reports specificly the one´s that concentrate on specific companies where we need to compare ourselfs with them. For example for a talent landscape report it is easy to pull the information by checking the number of prospects per role in each company and filter them by many other different criteria that helps us give more precise information to the business and its stakeholds to take inteligent decisions in the future.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

The diversity filters are absolutely amazing.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Some of the profiles in Seekout are not fully up to date; if you open the LinkedIn profile you sometimes see that the person already has another job

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing specifically, diversity sourcing, finding contact details

  ### 39. SeekOut is by far the best sourcing platform, no questions asked.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Nothing comes to mind for me, I think the tool is super useful!

Seekout makes finding diverse candidates a seamless process

  ### 41. Awesome sourcing tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine P. | Technical Sourcer - Product Leadership, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I love that seekout has all of the functionalities/features of other sourcing tools combined!

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

It's a little too complex at times, so you have to spend extra time learning it. It's worth it when you learn though.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can do very complex boolean searches, find emails, diverse candidates, and detailed candidate information in one place.

  ### 42. For diversity, Seekout is one of the best tools I use as a Sourcer

  ### 43. SeekOut: This Gem of a Search Tool Offers a Multifaceted Approach to Identifying Talent

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian M. | Talent Acquisition, Senior Advisor + Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Sourcer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

SeekOut allows a sourcer or recruiter access to a huge swath of publicly available talent for considerably less than what LinkedIn Recruiter would charge. The best yet is that SeekOut's search capabilities far exceed LIR's thanks in part to its guided navigation that uses more than 100 filters, AI matching and People Insights to help non-Boolean search experts fish in the deep end of the talent pool. SeekOut does a great job of identifying diverse talent as well as helping non-technical sourcers the ability to rank and find highly technical GitHub users. Another feature of the service that separates SeekOut from others in this realm is its responsiveness to users via a live chat hosted by super-users and experienced recruiters able and willing to help new users hone their search strategies. Its ability to construct and manage email campaigns is a feature I look forward to using once I have permission to tie it into my corporate Outlook email. SeekOut also allows its users to export data into spreadsheets for more nuanced manipulation as well as upload profiles into some CRM systems.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Because SeekOut relies on publicly available contact information from several sources about prospects it helps a user pinpoint, the accuracy of its results varies widely. This can slow down the flow of the sourcing process. The ability to group prospects into projects is helpful but suffers from the lack of an ability to dynamically re-sort the group by name, tag, or chronologically.

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

Take SeekOut for a test drive. There are free training webinars both live and recorded to ease one into the service. Also, be sure to find yourself in the tool to gauge how accurate the contact info is or isn't.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With SeekOut, one can quickly grasp visually with bar charts how one's own company (or any company for that matter) distributes talent by location, experience, prior employers, job title, and diversity. This ability to see the larger picture can be helpful in mapping out the talent pool to a hiring manager and setting expectations as to who's available and where they might be located. These insights can help elevate the sourcer and recruiter into more of an advisor role than an order-taker one. The ability to slice and dice talent pools into diverse sub-sets is also very helpful in finding D&I prospects to better round out a candidate slate.

  ### 44. Almost as good as a Linkedin Seat

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carol M. | Sr Talent Acquisition Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I like that I can search in a user-friendly application that I am already mostly accustomed to as it follows many of the same types of guidelines/parameters. I also like that I can get contact info and names of candidates that I can request on Linkedin to connect with. I think this tool has a lot of use just outside of what you see at face value. It allows the sourcer/recruiter to view how emails may be formatted for an organization, and of course, the direct contact info is valuable to have with a click other than having to wait potentially days, if ever for someone to connect with you on LinkedIn. The SeekOut tool cuts through and is a time saver. I have found that sometimes the email addresses are no longer valid, but I have found it more valuable to pick up the phone. It seems more candidates respond through the phone oddly enough than via email - at least in my experience so far. I like being able to see profiles, look at companies a target candidate either works for or has worked for in the past - much of this is helpful information while sourcing, especially hard to find roles. I like this tool a lot. I think it is a goldmine of info.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

That some of the contact information is outdated, I have found I haven't gotten much of a response via email, which surprised me but picking up the phone and calling or texting someone seems to be yielding better results - oddly enough.

I thought I would garner more response using email, but so far in my use of the tool, the phone seems to work best these days. Overall I feel that the tool is valuable and has a lot of practical uses and information a recruiter can use when souring for those passive candidates. Other than that, I don't feel much is there to dislike as this gives you the option to obtain a list of passive candidates and use the tool for other sourcing avenues.

I would like to see more results for some of the harder-to-fill positions. I searched for Mental Health Providers in a certain area and didn't get much back.

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

If you're looking for an easy source to locate passive candidates and may not have a LinkedIn Recruiter Seat or have limited seats, this is a great way to view passive candidates, get their contact information along with a snapshot of their profile and their name so that you use it to source many other avenues and/or connect with these candidates directly on LinkedIn thus expanding your network and quite possibly making a hire - or getting a referral. Anyone who knows how to recruit will see the value in the many options you can use this tool for to find those highly prized passive candidates.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing the passive candidates and having the contact info right there at your finger tips - along with their profile and the easy ability to delve into it deeper on LinkedIn. This tool also gives you a list of candidates that you can compile and try to connect with on LinkedIn. You can also view an ideal passive candidate, get on LinkedIn, see who else they know and what groups they might belong to that could be helpful in finding additional candidates like them. You can also see how the business emails are formatted if they have one listed. Makes it easier if you only have a name of someone else, you can likely figure out their email address. You can also use the tool to see what company a person works for or has worked for and get a list of competitors or search for people who work for those companies and the role you're looking to fill. Many uses.

  ### 45. SeekOut, your unfair AI recruiting advantage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin L. | Diversity and Inclusion Program Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I love that the AI matching option is so insightful. I suggest starting with this option for each new search. Make a note of the companies that are listed, and also note the job titles as well because not every company uses the same job title for the same skills/responsibilites. You can use this information to fill in the traditional search form and hone your results even more. I love that you can export to various formats because that is huge when you need to move data over to an ATS or CRM, it saves a lot of headache for me. And don't get me started on their power filters! Use them!

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I dislike that the tags & status I put for my candidates don't seem to be included in the export. I do a lot of in-program organization so I would like that information to be included in the export as well.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm solving the problems of trying to find higher-level management in manufacturing roles that require mechanical engineering (not just software engineering like most other programs of this type tend to focus only on). The benefits are that because of the AI I am learning about the varied job titles used, and as a result, I can hone my searches even more. One of my first assignments across my desk was a hard to fill role that had been sitting in frustration for a while after the ATS and LI was combed. I used the power filters in the AI search and was able to find a nice little pipeline of candidates who weren't already in our ats.

  ### 46. Have been able to identify a great pool of candidates that match my boolean searches over LinkedIn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zahira E. | Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I like the scoring on a candidate's profile with the skillsets you are looking to find. It helps to see how proficient they are in that skill. As well as being able to view their LinkedIn profile. Love that you can also pull their contact information and that some profiles show their salary, helps when sourcing for candidates that you have certain budgets. Do also enjoy the campaigns and the set up you can make, super easy process. Also love that there is a diversity section for sourcing, as a company we want to focus more on DEI and managers as well will like to see more diverse talent so this has been super helpful when sourcing.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

In my short time of using, I wouldn't say there is anything I dislike at the moment. Everything has been very user friendly and easy to use. Only thing is some profiles are outdated a bit, when looking at their LinkedIn profile their current position is not always accurate. I would say that happened about every 1 out 10 candidates I was looking at when sourcing. Not really an issue because I message them through LinkedIn however, I can see that being an issue if you are personalizing your message through Seekout and not having the most accurate information can make it seem like you don't have attention to detai.

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

I would recommend using SeekOut you will find more talent aside from LinkedIn. It is beneficial when you have hit a wall on your search via LinkedIn. You can export a list of candidates if needed to help prepare for futures openings which is helpful. I would recommend using SeekOut, which will help identify more diverse talent.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped with finding profiles for niche backgrounds and find more candidates over LinkedIn. It has also given me better insight to market salary with competitors which has helped myself more with sourcing and knowing which companies to find talent from. This is huge for my current company as we are switching gears during acquisition and will help with meetings with the hiring managers to inform them better about the current market and what we are seeing.

  ### 47. Great Tool to Use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony G. | Recruiter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I like how you can use standard sourcing methods and switch to AI. Then there are the independent projects you can create based on the types of searches you are conducting. The option to clone the candidate you found to match the search you are looking for is also very useful. There aren't a lot of options to do this with other searching dashboards (Indeed; CareerBuilder; Monster; etc.)

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

There can be improvement in the types of markets you are targeting to recruit from. A lot of the positions I am recruiting for are in the healthcare and insurance industry which can be challenging in the sense that the jobs can cross within different industries (quality assurance, compliance, legal counsel, etc.). There is challenge with finding talent within a specified zone, or physical proximity to a location.

A potential solution would be display an option on which types of companies the user might want to source from. Some of the positions are broad in terms of title and industry and I am sure this is a feature that can be addressed in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

Something to consider is the physical location of these potential candidates we are sourcing and the relative industries involved in the search. Perfect example would be to differentiate within healthcare, social services, managed care/insurance and commercial insurance.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a sourcer, I am becoming more creative. I always try to manually search for candidate profiles on LinkedIn seeing if they might be a match for the positions that I am working on. The thing with this platform is one must have the time and patience to work with the system. As mentioned before, the option to create projects and clone candidate types is something that other searching platforms lack. Here, it picks up where you left off. Then there is the option to obtain contact information and reach out to them. I have already utilized this option and have made contact with some quality candidates already.

  ### 48. Game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas Z. | Associate Director Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

Everything. On the sourcing side, you have advanced boolean, a billion or so filters, and so much flexibility it works for a new recruiter or a veteran recruiter. Then add in the AI sourcing capability, and you have a host of different methods to find the best talent. Then you can get actual email addresses and phone numbers to contact the candidates from your email or phone versus through a platform that people may or may not check. There is excellent tracking, so I know what I've done with each candidate in my project, and the tracking is fully customizable. It allows blind hiring mode so I can reduce my own bias, AND you can upload your own photo in place of candidate photos, so I get to see my cat Samosa every day! Finially the email template shift over to my Outlook makes it super fast to reach out to candidates using my work email. Everything about it is better than existing options on the market. Finally, they are extremely open to suggestions for improvements.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

There isn't much I dislike about the system. If I had to pick something, I prefer the dark mode look but some text fields still use black text making it impossible to see. I'm sure that will be fixed in no time.

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

Do not waste time; call them today to set up a demo!

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to find and reach out to passive candidates without having to use an external messaging system. I will email first and follow up with a call so candidates know I'm specifically targeting them not blasting a million candidates.

  ### 49. Best platform out there for recruiting right now...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh P. | Recruiting Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2021

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

My team and I have all been using Seekout for about a month now and I'd have to say I'm impressed. I've used many other similar platforms and seekout combines the best value add options from all the rest including: ability to use heavy boolean searches or ai job description matching, searching non traditional and less picked over sites like github directly, can be highly effective for novice or expert recruiters, and I love the diversity specific filters. It integrates well with our ATS and I look forward to seeing the value it will provide for our team for the rest of this year.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Some of the diversity filters can't be used in certain countries but that's not a seekout issue, more so a country compliance problem. No issues otherwise

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ability to use heavy boolean searches or ai job description matching, searching non traditional and less picked over sites like github directly, can be highly effective for novice or expert recruiters, and I love the diversity specific filters.
