Not effective for outreach candidates **Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2022 **What do you like best about SeekOut?** It has some good sourcing filters, some of them are similar to LinkedIn (still I don't see the benefits vs. LinkedIn as a user). **What do you dislike about SeekOut?** A lot of candidates have missing or inaccurate contact info so they can not be outreached, so the email campaigns are not as effective as InMails. **What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm not finding it very useful, to be honest. I'd like to do sourcing + outreach with the same tool. If SeekOut would be effective for outreach, it would be awesome. But you need to fix the candidates' contact info accuracy first. ### 3. It's difficult to use but it does make it easier than just using email. **What do you dislike about SeekOut?** The tool is really clunky. You have to click too many buttons to make things happen and too many opportunities for error. I have to add to a project on linkedin, then go to seekout to add them to a messaging campaign, and THEN go to the messaging campaign to start it. The search tool also leaves a lot of information off. I've noticed many candidates where in Seekout it appears are not currently working, but when you go to their profile there's an entire job that's missing from the seekout search results. Overall there are just other products out there that are much easier to work with. **What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?** Passive candidates tend to need lots of followup, so finding a tool to make that easier is pretty critical today. ## SeekOut Discussions -
