I like that they are able to update me on a daily basis on what is going on in the world with the companies I own. It is helpful for me to get email notifications when something happens with a stock that I am looking to purchase and if anything substantial happens with that company. The thing that I do not like about Seeking Alpha is that fact that some of the information may be relevant to the company but it is not very effective for example it may be in the business sector, but it does not really affect that company.
