What do you like best about Securly Filter?

I haven't had anything "disliked" by myself, though I wish I could block YouTube channels without needing an external third-party site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Securly Filter solving and how is that benefiting you?

Some of the problems that Securly Filter is solving for us are lowering student distractions by allowing teachers to limit how many browser tabs or what apps are usable. Another is when the students DO get free time on their devices; it will enable us to help ensure their safety while navigating the digital environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Securly Filter?

We started using Securly in the Spring of 2020 with the pandemic making us go 1:1. From day 1, it simply has "just worked." I like the simplicity of the setup and how it integrates with our Google Domain Structure Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Securly Filter?

I would like to be able to have more specific control over what types of alerts I receive. I get alerted for every search for "Unblocked Games." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use filter for student iPads"

What do you like best about Securly Filter?

We wanted a filtering solution for student iPads that are taken home. Securly works well for us. It is easy to deploy and works well. Time based policies are nice for allowing Youtube access at home but not during school hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Securly is one of the worse filters I have ever used"

What do you like best about Securly Filter?

For my students, Securly helps remove any inappropriate searches, but for the most part, it does nothing but hurt them. Securly has the potential to be a great help, but for my and other teachers' classes it has done nothing but hurt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Securly Filter?

This filter removes almost any search that pops up in the box. For one project researching reptiles, none of my students could even search the word snake without it removing it. During the free time they receive, all game websites are blocked, leaving nothing for my students to do, and I will not pressure them to do educational sites when they get their free time.
