The course I took was CSOM and it felt like it was created 3 years ago and not touched again. Multiple spelling mistakes and content that was clearly outdated / missing. Additionally, all technical aspects focused on FOS software and while helpful if it's the first time you are seeing these products (which it shouldn't be because the course requires 2+ years in security), this is not how professional SOCs are setup in 2026 and it felt like a ton of information I was not going to be able to use in my daily job. . I like the training and questions in the exams offered by Security Blue Team, along with their humor and down-to-earth understanding of who they are training and testing. It feels unmatched, and it was a genuine joy and pleasure to read a lot of the material and discover new things during the exam. They know who they are teaching—geeks who want to learn more about this world—and they found the humor to do that, with oddball references in the material to straight-up call-outs of things other people do that don't work.
