We are able to get rid of MAC Filters and Network profiles as well as use our OKTA SSO to authenticate users across all of our schools and state offices. This also bypasses the limitation of MAC filters and allows all the users that we want to connect to a network and authenticate with minimal intervention from the user. We were not able to properly test the BYOD functionality of SecureW2 so we did not go forward with the licensing but we are very interested in using this feature going forward. What problems is SecureW2 JoinNow solving and how is that benefiting you? Most of our environment is cloudbased with very little on-prem footprints. We use Google for our IdP so we don't have the ability to implement 802.1x certs locally without large expendatures and a massive shift in changes for our infrastructure. So we needed a PKI to help us secure our network and users! Their support is hands down what is best about SecureW2. They don't just cater to a support request and go through a typical scripted checklist. They are subject matter experts through and through and at every single engagement they not only ensure the implementation is done correctly, they also make sure it's setup to be built upon a strong foundation in your specific & tailored environement! I've had so many devices and 1-offs that I've had to engage with their engineers to deploy effectively for 802.1x and not once was I left hanging. They researched and tested EXTENSVELY with me! They didn't just do a checkbox with me either. Their engineers were thoughtful and informative in a teaching manner that helped propel my role even further. If you need cloud radius for 802.1x and more for cert authentication, SecureW2 is hands down the go to! Their support team has been so helpful in our deployments. I am by no means a PKI expert but with SecureW2's support, I was able to build out an automated deployment strategy for EAP-TLS certificates that is compatible with our entire fleet of macOS, Windows, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and even Linux. Their product has saved us so much time and effort in trying to build this our ourselves, and their support continues to be responsive for any questions or requests that we have. Because I am not a PKI expert, some of the deployment is very inintuitive, but I don't think thats the fault of SecureW2, but rather just the reality of how managing certificate deployments in an enterprise environment. When I joined my team, we were still using WPA2 Personal with PSK for our office networks, and we were in the midst of maturing as a company. With SecureW2, we've developed an automated Certificate deployment strategy in which staff computers are onboarded automatically to use our office wifi, and they authenticate using EAP-TLS in which every device has a unique certificate that only their device can use. Additionally, these certificates authenticate as the user's primary identity, so when looking at logging or diagnostic data on the network itself, I can see which employee username is associated to the connected devices, instead of relying on hostnames or known mac addresses. This has secured our wifi deployments across all offices, made it easier for employees to connect to our networks, and greatly limited our risks around the networking in our offices. SecureW2's moden take on PKI has transformed our organisations certificate based authentication capabilities. It's ability to seamlessly integrate with modern device management platforms has enabled us to transition off legacy, active directory bound systems onto modern cloud native platforms. Additionally, SecureW2's service has been second-to-none. Upon hitting roadblocks, or finding gaps in their offerings, SecureW2 have quickly been able to help us through and introduce capabilities to meet our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about SecureW2 JoinNow? There is room for improvement in the UX experience for the administrator. Over the time we used SecureW2 we did not have a single incident or service disruption. The support is incredibly knowledgable and helpful and was a great help in setting up the service initially. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about SecureW2 JoinNow? The admin portal seems a bit dated and not very easy to use. The initial setup is quite tricky and hard to debug if you don't have some experience in the field. Fortunately, the support from SecureW2 is very good here. I would not recommend the initial setup without contacting their support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is SecureW2 JoinNow solving and how is that benefiting you? We use SecureW2 solely as a radius server for authentication to our internal office network. SecureW2 acts as a certificate authority that hands out certificates to our employee's devices so they can authenticate towards our network via WPA-Enterprise. We do not use any self-service features, but only use MDM and SCEP to enroll every employee device. This works very well for us and is completely transparent to the employee, we never actually needed a self-service option, and none of our employee's even realize that SecureW2 exists.
