The full crawl renders every URL like a browser, every week, with more than 100 checks. Page Watch checks the most important pages continuously, spread across the day. When Page Watch finds a change, searchVIU checks the page a second time before the alert goes out. The robots.txt is checked every 15 minutes, XML sitemaps every day. Every finding gets a severity level and is sorted by affected URLs and clicks from Google Search Console. Known issues stay in the list and do not trigger another email. Alerts arrive by email, Slack, Teams or webhook. More than 80 standard reports update with every crawl. Whatever a team needs beyond that, searchVIU builds. The AI assistant answers questions about the project in plain language. The MCP server gives Claude and other AI tools access to the data. Add-ons AI Visibility: every week, searchVIU shows where ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode mention a brand and which pages they cite. Prompts are built from the site's own keywords. Rank Tracking: rankings every week, in the same project as the crawl. Log File Analysis: how often Googlebot and AI bots actually visit. Staging Monitoring (pilot): crawls the staging environment and alerts on issues before the release. Migration Pack: for relaunches and migrations, searchVIU compares every URL of the live website with its target on the staging site. It checks whether the keywords a page is found for today are still in the same places, and whether content and internal links are still there. Every difference is weighted by the clicks of the old page. The migration tool won the SEMY Award in 2018. searchVIU was founded in 2016 in Bonn, Germany, and is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Data is stored in Google Cloud in the Netherlands and Belgium. Customer data is never used for AI training, and every AI feature can be switched off individually.
