We manage a web application for one of our clients that has grown significantly in the amount of content hosted and traffic received. As this growth continued, their top support issue became "Solr is down". We initially ran our own Solr instance and managed it on the application server, but began looking for a partner who had expertise in this area who could handle the Solr challeng going forward. What do you like best about SearchStax?

We've been using SearchStax for our sitecore infrastructure and couldn't be happier with the experience. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making setup and ongoing management straightforward even for teams without deep Solr expertise. What stands out most is the reliability and stability of the system-downtime has never been an issue, and the performance is consistently excellent.

The support team is fantastic: always responsive, knowledgeable, and quick to resolve any questions or issues that arise. Their attention to detail and willingness to help gives us complete peace of mind and allows us to focus on our core business, rather than worrying about search infrastructure.

What do you dislike about SearchStax?

nothing much at this stage to dislike at this stage. The product fulfilled all our existing requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SearchStax solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main reason is to move the unsupported on-prem SOLR servers to Searchstax which is completely managed. This takes off all the management and support of these servers. And critically the SOLR servers are now exposed to the notorious Log4j vulnerability and this is now completely mitigated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
