After having implemented Solr Cloud cluster myself, knowing I can relay on SearchStax to set it up and keep it running 24\*7, has become a no-brainer, stright forward decision. I have seen a couple of scenarios when performance has been degraded, instead of suggesting improvements in the way Solr is used, an up scale was suggested. I could understand some level of consultancy could require a paid service, but in our case, simple basic changes, already documented, were enough to avoid the issue. I really like the Searches Dashboard. I like how it is set up by popular searches, no result searches and searches with no clicks. I like to see the search count and percentages. I like control of the stopwords. I like how we were able to incorporate a better filter system for our directory. I like the great customer support we have been given with directory features. I need to have warnings on certain aspects, that when I try to change something that it could break somethings. I know there are some things I cannot touch or it will break other aspects.
