What would take multiple days in Coveo I could replicate in 30 minutes with SearchStax The entry point pricing for Search Stax is very affordable. While it does not possess ALL of the functionality of Coveo, we found that very few implementations actually need that those advanced features. **What do you dislike about SearchStax?** Our first implementation was using Sitecore 10.4 in Docker containers and it did not work. I spent a lot of time working with their excellent tech support staff identifying the problems until they released a new container image. With Coveo, we can have seperate indexes for web and master databases, with SearchStax, you get only one. Every environment is another App, so if you have 3 devs and 3 environment (prod/qa/dev), you need 6 apps. This can start to become costly. With Coveo devs had free instances. The ability to crawl external sources is an additional cost. Our Marketing team loves the option to update stopwords, synonyms, spell check and auto-suggest words themselves without any help from the technical team. 3. Very easy to consume the provided developer APIs. 4. Developer and User documentation have been excellent and easy to follow and understand. 5. Team is quick to help with any queries and issues. 6. Our Solr knowledge is enough; we don't need more time learning the tool. 7. Easy way to explain this tool is, It's a CMS platform for Solr. **What do you dislike about SearchStax?** A few more options were missing from the UX accelerators like we don't have the option to turn on the wild card search on the search box etc. It can include this kind of option in future releases. But overall an excellent product, all our team is very happy with it. **What problems is SearchStax solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helped build the Search page very quickly without many customizations. We could reduce lots of development effort and save time during the implementation. As it is a SaaS product, we are off from the maintenance burden.
