We have a large product catalog, and Shopify’s native search just wasn’t cutting it—results were often irrelevant or buried important items. Searchanise solved that by delivering fast, relevant, and highly customizable search results. What do you like best about Searchanise?

While Searchanise offers a lot of features, some advanced customization options could be better documented. There’s also a slight learning curve if you want to take full advantage of all the settings. The only downside I’ve noticed is that it takes some time to reindex after a change is made. As a result, some items may still show as "in stock," but when customers click on the thumbnail, they might find that it's actually out of stock. Since our site offers high-demand items, often considered "drops," this can sometimes lead to disappointment. Regarding the reindexing delay — thank you for calling that out. To clarify, 70% of your product catalog is re-synced every 2 minutes, and the remaining 30% is updated every 10 minutes. If you’re using Shopify, you can also set up scheduled reindexing, which allows your store to automatically reindex daily at a time of your choosing.

Searchanise was quite easy to integrate into our systems, and anything that hasn't been completely straight forward, support was able to jump in and get it sorted quickly. There are a large range of features that have been of great use to us, and the potential for customisation to suit our needs is so far endless with the help of dedicated development hours.
