GeSi³ SDB-Profi is safety data sheet (SDS) authoring software developed by GeSi Software GmbH (Würzburg, Germany). It is designed for manufacturers, formulators and chemical distributors who need to create and maintain safety data sheets for their substances and mixtures in accordance with REACH and CLP. The software includes a mixture calculator for automated classification and labelling of mixtures, and a phrase-based language model for creating multilingual safety data sheets. Optional modules include: - up to 34 language packs, including occupational exposure limits and biological limit values - dangerous goods classification according to ADR, ADN, IMDG and IATA - safety data sheets for the USA and Canada (US SDS) - product notifications to the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) and European PCN notifications - an ECHA connector for importing toxicological, ecotoxicological and classification data - management of premixes and CSV import of formulations from ERP systems - hazard labels, masking of substance identifiers and JSON export of safety data sheets SDB-Profi runs on the customer's own IT infrastructure (on-premise). Network and multi-site licenses are available. The user interface is available in German, with English as an option. It shares a common interface with GeSi³ GefStoff-Profi and GeSi³ FaSi-Profi and connects to the SDBcheck® tool.
