"Performance and Scalability in NoSQL Databases"
What do you like best about ScyllaDB?

With low latency and great throughput, ScyllaDB is renowned for its excellent performance. It is capable of effectively managing several concurrent requests and massive volumes of data. You may easily add more nodes to your cluster without experiencing major downtime or reconfiguration because to its easy horizontal scaling. It is hence appropriate for expanding applications. ScyllaDB and Apache Cassandra can coexist, allowing you to migrate your data with no difficulty using the same client drivers and tools. To provide optimal performance and an even load distribution among nodes, the database automatically shards data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScyllaDB?

In order to attain its high performance, ScyllaDB can be rather resource-intensive, requiring a large amount of CPU and RAM. When compared to certain alternative NoSQL systems, this may result in increased infrastructure expenses. ScyllaDB has good performance, but careful configuration and tuning may be necessary to get the best results. This can be difficult and time-consuming.There may occasionally be latency spikes due to a variety of factors, including heavy write workloads or node failures. Even though they are uncommon, these can affect applications that need a constant low latency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best performing NoSQL Database"
What do you like best about ScyllaDB?

We have been using ScyllaDB for a while now. Amazed with latest features like tablet based data distribution, and rebalacing of data across multiple nodes. The fasted bootstrapping of nodes in a busy cluster is the highlight of scyllaDB which makes it's usage and integration quite seamless. My Current Organisation Infosec is using this for security data analysis and threat protection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScyllaDB?

It lacks some of the features which exist in cassandra and some DBs like the graph queries, built-in-search flexibilty etc. High resource consumption as a result of good performance. Customer support and doc could be improvement with time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"High-Performance NoSQL Database with Low Latency ....super cool"
What do you like best about ScyllaDB?

ScyllaDB’s shard-per-core architecture maximizes performance, ensuring ultra-low latency and high availability. Its compatibility with Apache Cassandra makes migration seamless, and the automatic tuning significantly reduces operational overhead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScyllaDB?

While powerful, ScyllaDB has a steep learning curve, and fine-tuning performance may require deep database knowledge. The documentation, though comprehensive, could provide more real-world use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
