The platform doesn't capture actual user input - instead, it takes queries we want to target and creates prompts to see what outputs result. This is a significant limitation not only for Scrunch but MOST GEO/AEO platforms out there, though they did tell me they are working on it. The industry as a whole needs to develop better access to real user data and actual inputs people are asking LLMs so we can understand genuine search behavior and intent on these platforms. Scrunch AI has been a huge value-add for our team. It’s affordable, especially compared to tools like Profound AI, and you get a lot of functionality for the price. The platform is easy to use, the UI is straightforward, and you don’t have to dig around to find what you need. My favorite part is how early they were with tracking “agent traffic.” Being able to see the different types of AI agents hitting our site gives us visibility we weren’t getting anywhere else. It’s still new, and if you work in a niche industry, the data can feel pretty broad since it doesn’t drill down into more specific categories yet.
