Recommendations to others considering Scrivener:
Scrivener has a great trial run - use it for a month to see if it's for you, and don't be intimidated by it's complexity. Use the tutorials when needed, they're extremely intuitive and helpful. Furthermore, scrivener can be helpful for various different stages of the writing process. For example, I don't use it for drafting, but I love it for revisions when I need to rearrange scenes and see how a new scene/chapter order might look overall. Great product. What problems is Scrivener solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrivener has allowed me to more systematically organize, evaluate, and rearrange my novel when needed. Furthermore, it allows me to easily compile my manuscripts into a variety of formats (from pdf, to word doc, to epublishing/ibook formats). I do not plan to epublish, but I know Scrivener is a valuable tool for those who do, and it is valuable for me as well when packaging up my manuscript to send to critique partners/readers.
