Also, the API is okay. **What do you dislike about Scrive?** I don't like the updates. There's an issue where signing with a bundle does not work for Norwegian BankId's anymore, and it is not prioritized by scrive. Better features and more planning of features before launching new updates would be helpful. The initial setup turned out to take quite a while due to the confusing documentation and different APIs that seemed to be the same but weren't. **What problems is Scrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Scrive for signing documents and bank ID sign-in. It's practical and cheaper than alternatives. ### 2. Reliable and well priced, but missing some key dev and management features **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026 **What do you like best about Scrive?** The pricing is very fair and the service is reliable. **What do you dislike about Scrive?** I have used Scrive for many years and in all this time there has been no Developer Portal to create API keys or whitelist webhook URLs. There is also no dashboard for viewing verifications. These feature would be very enabling. **What problems is Scrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Scrive provides ID verification and signing services, as well as covering local eID verification from many European countries. This enables us to work with a single provider across the countries we target. **Official Response from Susanna Borg:** > Thank you for your feedback! Today, we support eID Hub users through dedicated onboarding and hands-on assistance rather than a self-service developer portal. Additional features like document tracking, automatically scheduled reminders, and the ability to add custom branding are an added advantage to using this tool. **What do you dislike about Scrive?** Given that they have some custom integrations available. The slight inconvenience is that they still do not allow the ability to integrate with some of the more popular tools out there. Along with this no offline functionalities is quite a bummer. **What problems is Scrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest win here is that its an e-signing tool; meaning that we eliminate the unnecessary use of paper and that is good for the environment. Secondly, I hate managing multiple documents offline and this helps me eliminate that as well. ### 5. Language can be customised according to the country **What problems is Scrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Connecting to bulk employees for form filling after creating a form. Easy for the customer to sign the agreements. It's easy for sellers to get quick deals and signed deals. Good and fast support. **What do you dislike about Scrive?** Just the fact that it's simple and it looks cheap. I think there should be a better and easier way to add fields to the templates and that they should not have to be unique. **What problems is Scrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** If you have admin rights, you should be able to add new users and not have to ask Scrive to do it. Easy to use for users who are used to using a smart-phone and outlook. For users in Sweden, it is good that we can use digitalID. **What do you dislike about Scrive?** I see a risk in how we can use the service due to that there are different legislations in different countries for what is considered a binding agreement.
