I feel Scripted offers writers a lot of flexibility and the chance to work with all types of clients across industries.

My favorite thing is that Scripted reintroduced Smart Match last year, which means qualifying writers can claim projects in one click (no need for a proposal). They also have a solid support team that's quick to respond, even on weekends.

In recent months, Scripted implemented metrics and tiers, which I feel was a good move for supporting quality control initiatives on the platform and the requirements are very realistic.

Lastly, they've brought back editors and they're always improving the writing tools, which is greatly appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We engaged with Scripted to experiment with having some content developed for one of our team's projects. Sadly, that isn't the focus of this review.

We didn't need them moving forward, and so tried to cancel. Holy wow, was this a horrible customer experience.

Here's a summary:

First - you can't cancel online. You have to call or book a sales call. (Red flag!)

We got stood up by the salesperson. They no-showed.

Then, we tried to reschedule and got the runaround. Called 'em, got ahold of a salesperson, and they said ... they can't cancel.

Finally, they tried to cancel our account and bill us "the remainder of the year" - when it'd been months since we initially requested the cancellation.

By the way ... they don't send invoices. Fun, huh?

And then to top it all off? They acted like they were doing us a favor by canceling us "early."

We work with scripted on blogs on a regular basis, they always deliver above and beyond our expectations. We have also used them to help us write landing page copy, ad copy, etc. I would defintiely recommend scripted for anyone that is looking for copy writing assistance.
