## Scribe Reviews
 ### 1. Streamlined Process Documentation with Some Glitches

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt J. | Director of Financial Aid

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really appreciate how Scribe solves the problem of documenting processes in an organized manner, which was a struggle for us given our dated system and reliance on manual processes like using Microsoft Word or Zoom recordings. Scribe makes documenting processes not only more organized but also easy to read and access. I am particularly fond of the flexibility Scribe offers; it allows me to record scribes, add photos and links, and edit quickly, enhancing the adaptability and functionality of the tool. The feature enabling pages allows me to consolidate longer processes by grouping multiple scribes into a single document with a table of contents on top, which is extremely beneficial for process flow and ease of understanding for anyone who needs to read and learn from that documentation. This feature is especially valuable as it streamlines learning and comprehension of the available content at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There are a few glitches within Scribe where it won't actually record a scribe for us in certain areas of the software we use. Not every click made inside the software is recorded as part of the scribe, requiring me to take screenshots and manually add them. Additionally, I wish there was functionality allowing a team leader to edit scribes created by team members directly, instead of having to request changes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe organizes our process documentation, making it easy to read and access, replacing outdated manual methods like Microsoft Word and Zoom. It consolidates multiple scribes into a single page, improving process flow and saving time on manual documentation.

 ### 2. Effortless Documentation with Seamless Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like Scribe because of its ease of use. It's very easy to get started with creating documentation. The initial setup was extremely easy; we only needed to install the app, and I didn't even have to be an administrator. It's also great for building documentation quickly, which is a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

We are very new to Scribe, so I haven't ran into anything I don't like yet.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe makes creating documentation much faster and is very easy to use for building help desk and client documentation.

 ### 3. Effortlessly Creates Clear Instructions, Highly Recommend!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer S. | Contracts Counsel

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love Scribe for its ease of use, which significantly streamlines the process of creating instructional content. The platform enables me to ensure my instructions are clear and accurate, as I can test them in real-time while documenting the tasks. This feature is invaluable because it minimizes the likelihood of errors, ensuring that each step of the process is captured correctly without omission. Additionally, the simple initial setup requires minimal effort, allowing me to get up and running quickly. Moreover, Scribe helps solve the repetitive task of capturing screenshots, saving me substantial time and enhancing efficiency. The fact that I can use it seamlessly with other tools like SpotDraft and Ironclad further enhances its integration into my workflow, making documentation and legal process management more coherent and manageable. My positive experience with Scribe is reflected in my high willingness to recommend it to others, as I rate it an 11 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I'm a contractor and find it challenging to leave my teachings behind without having to pay for it myself. It would be beneficial to have a feature that allows easy transfer of a bank of existing static scribes to another user for a flat fee, while also allowing me to keep them to refurbish and customize.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to eliminate repetitive instructions and ensure clarity by creating guides during task execution, preventing mistakes and saving time.

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The ease of use and how quick it turns a 30min - 45min process of taking screenshots into a few clicks!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Nothing that comes to mind. It has been a life saver on saving time and making sending How-To guides so easy, simple, and quick! I love it.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When clients ask how to do something in Salesforce I love sending them a quick scribe since it combines instructions with visual aids which is extremely helpful if some people are very technically inclined!

 ### 5. Simplified Documentation, Saves Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie J.

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that Scribe is so easy to use and edit. I also appreciate the feature where I can zoom in on screenshots and add a little orange circle around where I click—honestly, it's genius. The setup was extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I still have to edit the test quite a bit. I wish it could take my audio during the walkthrough and turn it into text!

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe for documentation updates, saving time by avoiding calls and providing persistent documents. It fills documentation gaps and allows efficient use of time, as it can be quickly shared across the organization.

 ### 6. Automatic Trimming and Clipping That Just Works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

How it automatically trims and clips your segments.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I haven't come across anything so far but perhaps it would be good to have clearer instructions on how to first use?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

It overdoes some of the steps when I am making a how to.

Scribe is helping us to save time.

 ### 8. Effortless Video Creation, Fun to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naomi R. | System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find editing videos with Scribe to be extremely easy, which makes adding or removing information effortless. The AI voices are not only fun but also very clear and easy to understand, making it enjoyable to use Scribe. Their intonation is excellent, and they help convey points correctly in the how-to and training videos I create for my company, which is crucial for effective communication. Overall, the ease of use, especially the point-and-click setup, enhances the experience, and I genuinely have fun using Scribe.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I find it challenging when working with Scribe on a single screen laptop. I often have to switch between applications to confirm information needed for creating a scribe. This process results in unwanted screenshots being taken when switching to applications like a word document, leading to a clutter of unnecessary screenshots that I need to remove. This issue could be resolved with a dual-screen setup, but since I lack that, it results in the creation of many redundant snapshots.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create how-to and training videos, making editing simple and enhancing viewer comprehension with clear AI voices.

 ### 9. Low-Friction Onboarding That Gets Teams Using It Fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It’s very low-friction to get team members to start using the platform.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The low amount of licenses within our pro plan

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document SOPs that can help in employee turnover and people that go on vacation

 ### 10. Effortless SOP and Visual Guide Creation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa R.

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find Scribe incredibly easy to set up and use, making the transition from manual processes remarkably smooth. The software provides resources and a walkthrough guide that are extremely user-friendly. I love the guide feature, especially its integration capabilities with Salesforce, which enhance my workflow and efficiency significantly. The editing features of Scribe stand out as well; they allow me to move click targets, redact sensitive information, and streamline the documentation process by significantly reducing the time and labor involved compared to manual screenshot editing. I find it particularly helpful for creating SOPs and visual guides, as having a visual representation to distribute among staff is invaluable in dealing with software glitches. This ease of use and efficiency greatly influences my decision to continue using Scribe, evidenced by my willingness to recommend it with a rating of 9 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I didn't realize that if I let someone from my team review my SOPs to make changes it would add her to my account and charge me. It took me some time to figure out what happened that generated the charge and now we will be paying for having her on the account for several weeks before I noticed. I'm going to export the scribes to PDF to get the team's opinion instead of collaborating on the Scribe application.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to easily create SOPs and visual guides, which simplifies sharing solutions for glitches and reduces the manual effort of taking screenshots, enhancing my workflow efficiency.

 ### 11. Intuitive and Efficient Documentation Tool

The efficiency is much better compared to previous methods, significantly reducing the time investment required in creating thorough documentation. Also, the initial setup was easy, which was a big plus for us.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Scribe, currently.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Scribe has made creating work instructions in our HR department much more efficient and reduced the time investment required for thorough documentation.

 ### 12. Effortless Step Capture and Editing

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I absolutely love how easy it is to not only capture the steps, but to edit the steps afterward!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There is nothing I dislike about Scribe.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more screenshots upon screenshots. I also love that I don't have to get on a meeting with someone to show them how to do something step by step, I can just send them the scribe!

 ### 13. Effortless SOP Creation with Scribe

I love how Scribe seamlessly creates SOPs and its ease of use. I also really appreciate its step consolidation efforts, which are very effective. Setting up Scribe was extremely easy, and it's perfect overall.

I use Scribe for creating workflow SOPs seamlessly, and it consolidates steps effectively.

 ### 14. Scribe Makes Creating Training Materials and SOPs Much More Efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scibe has made creating training materials and SOPs so much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

We have had accidental additions to our team due to sharing Scribes without exporting them first.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The never-ending need for training materials.

 ### 15. Simplifies Guide Creation with Easy Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anand D. | AI Product Specialist

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I appreciate Scribe's ability to drastically simplify the process of creating and sharing 'how-to' guides, enabling me to efficiently communicate with clients in just a few minutes. This removes the need for laborious steps such as taking screenshots and manually compiling them into documents, a task that used to take much longer. I'm particularly fond of the feature that tracks every single click and provides suitable instructions using appropriate HTML tags, adding significant value in terms of clarity and guidance. Additionally, the straightforward setup process makes Scribe easy to start using with just a small learning curve, and its capability to function smoothly with large and legacy software is highly beneficial. The tool’s simplicity and the time it saves for these tasks are compelling reasons for me to continue purchasing it. Overall, Scribe is incredibly user-friendly and efficient, making it indispensable for both internal and external instructional sharing.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I find the categorization process a bit of a challenge, although it's a minor learning curve. Additionally, I dislike the current format limitations as I would prefer if Scribe could export videos of the clicking process into more widely-used formats like MP4, MP3, or MOV.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to rapidly create and share how-to guides, drastically simplifying the process versus manually screenshotting and documenting, saving significant time.

 ### 16. Streamlines SOP Documentation with Ease but Needs Speed Optimization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim C. | Sr HRIS Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like Scribe’s integration as an extension that passively records the steps you take, and the fact that it can be reviewed and edited later. I find the setup seamless, just involving installing the extension and subscribing.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I think speed could be optimized. Once we reach about 50+ steps, the system really slows down and gets laggy. I wonder if screenshots could be compressed.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to document work processes by recording steps and capturing screenshots, which helps ensure knowledge retention when experts leave the company.

 ### 17. Fantastic For Documenting Small Business SOPs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Al C. | President / Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is a very simple, intuitive tool to use. The controls are easy to manage, the documents are easy to edit, and distribution is a snap. We are using it to document all of our small business SOPs - from accouting & bookeeping, order management, vendor management, and expense management. Price is extremely reasonable for the capabilities that it provides. A "force multiplier" for me as a small business owner with a lot of complex processes.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have no complaints or suggestions at this time.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documenting all of my processes, procedures and tasks so that we reduce the risk of exposure should something happen to me as the business owner. Also allows me to more effectively delegate to my team, allowing me to focus more on working "on the business" versus "in the business".

 ### 18. Incredibly Intuitive, Real-Time Editing That Keeps Guides Healthy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. Editing in real time and refreshing are critical to the guide health.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The voice transcription could be cleaner - often cuts off between clicks.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal user training and enhanced onboarding and user guide experiences for customers.

 ### 19. Simplifies Task Guidance, Room for Feature Growth

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff G.

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find Scribe extremely valuable as it simplifies the process of creating step-by-step directions for tasks, which is incredibly beneficial in my role supporting teachers in my district. The intuitive and easy setup process, where I just followed the on-screen prompts, made it seamless to start using. Scribe saves us a significant amount of time by eliminating the need to type out directions or take multiple screenshots, as it automatically captures screenshots of the actions we perform. This feature, along with the ability for users to follow the exact clicks on the same website, enhances usability and ensures efficiency. These capabilities have helped streamline the way I provide technical directions, making it more accessible for the educators I assist.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would like Scribe to include the ability to record a screencast simultaneously while capturing the tutorial clicks, which is a feature currently lacking. This enhancement would improve my experience by providing a more comprehensive instructional method.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to simplify creating step-by-step directions for teachers, saving time by avoiding manual typing and excessive screenshots.

 ### 20. Solving Business Puzzles

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle G. | Learning And Development Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is such a great program. It allows members of our L&D team and others in our organization a simple way of making workflows or step by step actions. I enjoy that i can create my own scribes, but also quickly share it with a team. I also love the Page section. This is where you can create four different process (or scribes) and then put them all on one page. Sort of like a Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 etc.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It can be a bit confusing at the start and a bit awkward to know when to pause the scribe, but once you do a few scribes you will easily get the hang of it.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our industry we have quite a few websites or programs that we use. Scribe allows us to easily create guides or workflows for our employees.

 ### 21. Simplifies SOP Creation with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joyce J.

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find Scribe incredibly easy to set up, even for someone brand new to it. Initially, it was myself and two other new users, and while we tackled the setup together, it turned out to be much simpler once we got started. I appreciate how Scribe simplifies the process of writing notes and translating tasks that I have performed over the last thirty-five years into manageable documentation for other employees and especially my manager. The simplicity in its start, stop, and pause features is a huge plus for me. I also love being able to look back at what I do, how long it takes, and the steps involved. It enables me to improve my workflow and understand why I perform tasks the way I do, ultimately helping me to do them better. The overall practicality and user-friendliness of Scribe are aspects I highly value.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There is nothing so for that I dislike about Scribe

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to simplify note-taking and information translation, making it easier to pass on knowledge accumulated over 35 years to new employees and my manager. It's efficient for creating SOPs as I prepare for retirement.

 ### 22. Effortless Onboarding, Saves Time and Money

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel A.

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find Scribe incredibly easy to use, with a straightforward setup and intuitive onboarding process. Its functionality in creating detailed digital guides has been particularly beneficial, helping the volunteers at 'Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida' accurately execute the applicant screening process without repeated live explanations. By facilitating accurate form completion and saving significant amounts of time, Scribe effectively translates into cost savings, making it a valuable asset for the organization. The ease of signing up and comprehensible onboarding were standout features that initially attracted me, and I believe this contributes heavily to its efficacy and appeal. The effectiveness is also seen in how it simplifies and improves the accuracy of tasks like filling out forms, providing a repeatable guide that can be referenced over and over again. This level of detail negates the need for constant supervision or instruction, contributing to meaningful organizational efficiency. I highly value the time and money saved, which is why I would gladly recommend Scribe to others, rating it a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I like everything about it.

I appreciate how the setup of Scribe went extra smoothly, with our support agent guiding us through the main features, making it very easy to use. I love the transcription feature that allows me to talk and put directions directly onto the Scribe slides, as well as the blur-out feature. These aspects, along with the overall usefulness of the platform, have significantly improved our process manual creation, enabling our department to capture processes during their daily tasks without needing to set aside extra time. The transition from using Microsoft Word for cutting, pasting, and annotating, which was cumbersome and hard to update, to using Scribe has streamlined operations considerably. Moreover, the time efficiency Scribe offers is a decisive factor for me, allowing us to handle our administrative tasks much more confidently and effectively. Furthermore, my positive experience with Scribe is reflected in a perfect recommendation score, demonstrating my satisfaction with and trust in the product.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I did not know that Scribe could integrate with other software.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Scribe has streamlined creating process manuals, eliminating the need for manual updates in Microsoft Word. It allows real-time capture during tasks, increasing our HR team's efficiency.

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is super easy to use and it was easy to get set up. In my role, I need to create a lot of different step by step (how to) guides for our users and scribe makes it so easy. I don't have to take screenshots of every step, scribe does it for me and scribe highlights exactly where you click and what URL you are on. It's also great because it recognizes the names of the buttons and helps write part of the steps. What I love most is that if I do need to take a screenshot or include something that wasn't captured by scribe, I can upload it myself. It's super easy for me to embed into our help articles with html. I can also brand our scribes with our logo.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It cannot capture if you are working in an extension

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making how-to guides easier to create. Saves time!

Scribe completely changed the way I create and share processes. We grew our team and was key in helping us document and automate training.

It’s intuitive, reliable, easy to use and has saved our team countless meetings & constant questions from my team.

The free plan is great for testing for small teams, but you’ll need the Pro version for bigger teams.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As the business was constantly growing and scaling, processes were being redundant & also updated so we used to spend hours in meetings, updating staff on how to use new systems and forget about the old ones.
We used Scribe to document internal processes and onboarding so there was a reference point for both management and staff & easy to understand/

 ### 28. Perfect resource/tool for those creating trainings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cary H. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that it is easy to use. I have it pinned to my task bar and can start scribing with one click. I like that I can edit the scribe, and I like that I have the option to turn it into a video if I want. We have multiple staff that utilzie Scribe and it has become the standard for creating trainings for our staff.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I was hoping to use it for helping to create processes, and I have not found the info to do that with first glance.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has solved the issue of having to take screen shots of each step when creating how to guides, and this has helped not only with how the training material turns out, but, it is faster and easier to create. Additionally, it helps keep our training material looking consistent with the same format

 ### 29. Quick, Easy Documentation—Just Needs Better Freshservice/Knowledge Base Integration

quick and easy to do documentation, click along and it's done, performs well as an app, reasonable pricing, support and onboarding is seamless, although I wish it integrated into freshservice, or was easily exportable into a public facing knowledge base

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

again, wish I could integrate it into freshservice or another knowledge base

 ### 30. A Time-Saving Powerhouse for Creating Professional Tutorials

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosanne J.

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I use Scribe as a school secretary to create step-by-step tutorials, streamlining processes like student registration and managing our internal database system. It's been a huge time saver and very simple to use, making the creation of procedure manuals much more time-efficient. I love the efficiency and professional look of the completed tutorials, and I appreciate that I can share them in a group or download them to PDF easily. The initial setup was very simple with just a quick tutorial, and I found Scribe to be very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

At this time I have loved everything about Scribe....just wish I found it sooner!

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create step-by-step tutorials, saving me time and creating professional-looking procedure manuals that streamline our processes.

 ### 31. ✨ Scribe is hands-down one of the best tools I’ve ever used for documentation. ✨

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aundi R. | Sr. Workday HCM Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Ease of use, saving time, simple to share

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The only downside at this point is sharing "Movies" or Slides requires embedding. There's usually a way to embed them in most of our tools, though. It just takes some extra steps.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As someone who lives in process improvement and system optimization, I can confidently say Scribe has completely changed the game for me and my team.

✅ Need to document a complex process? Done in minutes.
✅ Need a quick “how-to” guide for a colleague? Scribe creates it with a few clicks.
✅ Need to walk someone through steps without writing a novel? The Movie feature is magic.

The ability to auto-generate beautiful, step-by-step guides just by doing the task once is mind-blowing and it looks professional every time. It saves me hours every week, and the adoption across not only our team but our end- users has been seamless.

💡 Whether you're in HRIS, tech support, onboarding, or operations—Scribe is a must-have.

 ### 32. Effortless to Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam B. | Testing Center Manager and Junior Instructional Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

A major upside about using Scribe is its ease of use and shareability.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes, Scribe does not pick up every mouse movement and I have to edit it myself for accuracy.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe lets me make step-by-step tutorials which is helpful for educational technology.

 ### 33. Effortlessly Creates Training Guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Malesa R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really like the ease of use with Scribe. Everything is simple clicks, no need to learn the system. It's sign in and go. It helps me generate training steps that I would otherwise have to manually go through with individual users, and they would have to manually take notes of the process. The initial setup was incredibly easy.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish that scroll motions could be captured.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe generates training steps automatically, saving me from manual processes and note-taking.

 ### 34. Simplifies Guide Creation with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | Director of Training, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how Scribe simplifies the process of creating quick setup guides, making them easier, quicker, and more professional-looking. The sharing feature is also convenient. The tool is user-friendly, particularly noting the click hotspots in movies and the ease of editing, cropping, and adjusting text. Its efficiency in highlighting and annotating key areas reduces the need for multiple platforms, enhancing productivity.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I found the limitations of the lower-tier version, as it did not allow desktop captures. This restriction forced me to upgrade to a higher plan, which was an unexpected hurdle. Additionally, I dislike the Scribe branding on movie links. I wish there were an option to remove this branding for a more professional appearance from links.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create quick, professional-looking setup guides that are easy to share, improving my workflow efficiency. It consolidates tools by annotating and emphasizing key steps, which was previously spread across multiple platforms.

 ### 35. User-Friendly Platform with Valuable Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hyo C.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really enjoyed the fact that I can use Scribe anywhere I go. I use mainly the capture function because I can ensure that the next person who uses it can easily look at the target location. I like the specific target locations and the fact that I can edit the comments in the instructions. The initial setup of Scribe was user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don’t like the fact that I have to pay for additional services like creating an unlimited amount of pages for scribes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create step-by-step guides for administrative processes, making it easier for coworkers to use programs.

 ### 36. Time-Saving Visual Editing at Its Best

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jodie U. | Director Category Management (Apparel), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I have been using Scribe to create short 'how-tos' for new employees, and it is quick and convenient, saving me a ton of time. I love that the visual is captured and allows me to edit. Additionally, I love that it highlights what I selected. The setup was super user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I haven't been using Scribe long enough to find anything wrong with it

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create quick and convenient 'how to's for new employees, saving me a ton of time.

 ### 37. Flexible, On-the-Go Editing That Fits Your Workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how it has the ability to move with you but at the same time it allows you to make edits after reviewing

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes the things it captures are a bit redundant

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

its allowing me to create a handbook

 ### 38. Scribe is an excellent tool for creating clear and efficient training content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie T. | Coordinator, Admissions & Records, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

In both my current and previous roles at institutions of higher education, I have been responsible for maintaining departmental SOPs and developing training guides for staff. While I’ve previously used Microsoft and other tools for content creation, Scribe has saved me hours—sometimes even days—of valuable time.

One of the most impactful features is the ability to capture all actions in a single workflow. I often work across multiple tabs—including our CRM, document management systems, databases, and Microsoft applications. Scribe is simply remarkable and has greatly enhanced the way I create training materials.

When working with sensitive student data, the blur tool is essential for protecting privacy. The ability to add tips and alerts is also valuable for highlighting critical steps or important reminders. Incorporating headers helps staff navigate the content more easily, while the click-to-capture functionality streamlines the process by automatically highlighting selections and generating step-by-step instructions.

I’ve been using Scribe for the past 2–3 months and continue to refine my workflow as I become more familiar with the platform. Currently, I’m in the process of replacing all existing procedures and manuals with Scribe and actively sharing it with colleagues who may also benefit from its capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

While I can’t say there’s anything I truly dislike about Scribe, I would appreciate having more flexibility with target color options. Currently, I use a color picker to find the exact hex code for the color I want, which adds an extra step.

Additionally, it would be helpful if line color, fill color, and gradient preferences could be saved for the annotation tools. I often find a great color but can't easily replicate it on another step, and selecting the same color repeatedly across multiple steps can be time-consuming.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is helping me create visual and interactive content while capturing steps across multiple tabs, applications, and systems. All content is now standardized and consistent, saving me an immense amount of time and effort.

 ### 39. Automated Job Shadowing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felicity M. | Owner/Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe allows any new hire to shadow me on demand as I do various tasks without having to actually shadow me. I can show one person the process once and it will document the process for me by way of "watching me go through it". They continue to add features and simplify the process of implementing it in your organization all the time. I use Scribe on a daily basis to show my clients step by step processes with the easy push of a button. Anytime I have questions or concerns I know I can reach out to their team and get a response in less than 24 hours most of the time.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Nothing... I hope they keep improving as they have been. They are doing great.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe allows complex processes to be broken down screen by screen without me having to take, store and organize a million screenshots on my device.

 ### 40. Effortless Documentation, Unmatched Clarity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabrina J.

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find Scribe incredibly valuable for documenting procedures, training steps, and creating to-do lists. Its ability to provide clarity and minimize repeating questions from team members saves me a tremendous amount of time in meetings. I love how easy it is to capture steps, edit, and share them, which streamlines communication and understanding. The intuitive nature of Scribe means there's a minimal learning curve, making it accessible and straightforward to use right from the start. The setup is also very easy, with little onboarding necessary to get up and running. These features culminate in a tool that I would highly recommend to others with utmost confidence.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I find Scribe not ideal for documenting proprietary data or workflows.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to document procedures, saving significant time by reducing meetings and repetitive questions while providing clarity.

 ### 41. Quick, easy to edit how to guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin G. | Assistant Director of Student Support, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

easy install; easy to capture steps & edit - I love the paid version that allows you to capture workflows across browers and desktop steps. they added a feature to easily edit images captured to blur out sensitive info. I work in education & this has significantly sped up how long it takes me to edit to ensure confidentiality.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have found Scribe super easy to use - no issues! In future versions, I'd love to make more step by step guides that are able to be translated by the user in their preferred language. That might be a feature currently - I have not explored it.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

creating quick, simple & detailed step by step guides for the many functions of work completed by school administrators

 ### 42. Scribe Simplifies Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The ease at which it can capture step by step processes and the convenience of being able to update one step of instructions instead of needeing to completely recapture from the start when updates occur.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Honestly, so far I have not disliked much. If anything, occasionally it does not capture the name of the tab I am clicking on and so I need to edit what that information, but that could be based on our own internal restrictions (it may not be able to capture the name based on how we are coding in Word press).

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is enabling me to create a better transfer of knowledge to other team members doing the same work on campus.

 ### 43. Time-Saver, Money-Saver, Life-Saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Micah F. | Financial Planning Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is probably one of the most intuitive programs I have ever had the fortune of using. It takes moments to get set up and is easy to learn. The fact that it can automatically blur sensitive information in real time as each scribe guide is being created saves so much time and hassle. The ability to have other team members also create and edit within scribe, and the ability to share scribe guides both within the organization and with outside members are also both great features that allow for more seamless collaboration and simpler virtual assistance.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I was a bit disappointed that only 10 scribe guides could be created using the basic plan, and that the blur feature is only available on scribe pro, but by the time I had approached the 10 guide limit, it was already clear that this was a program that would be well worth the price of the pro version and the features contained within.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are in the middle of changing processes and programs within our organization which is something that always comes with growing pains. Scribe, however, is making teaching/learning the new processes exponentially easier and will, hopefully, allow team members to more confidently be able to figure out what their next step is, without necessarily pulling other team members away from their work. This is going to be such a massive time-saver and should ensure everyone is on the same page as far as these processes go.

 ### 44. Easy Screenshot Replacement with Smooth Redaction and Annotations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Ease of replacing screenshots and redaction as well as annotations.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I can't choose how to format the descriptions automatically, I'd like to use bold words instead of quotation marks.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has allowed me to create more documentation faster for end users. I don't have to type out the same instructions time and time again.

 ### 45. Efficient Meeting Note-Taker with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Usman S. | IT Support Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that Scribe can recognize which person is talking during our meetings, making note-taking more organized and efficient. I also find its accuracy to be very high, which is important when capturing the details of our discussions. Setting it up was fairly straightforward, which made the initial transition smooth.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don't like that it auto joins every meeting. It joins meetings that I may not want it to join. I would like it to ask before joining a meeting.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe for taking notes in our meetings, which helps with capturing discussions effectively.

 ### 46. Super effective at doing one thing!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cecilia R. | Website Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Makes it incredibly easy to create step-by-step guides, making the process of creating documentation much faster and smoother than it otherwise tends to me.

I like that Scribe has a very specific use case and that the team has evidently spent a lot of time refining and optimising it to make it better and better at doing that specific thing. So you have access to a bunch of well-thought out, handy tools to, for example, edit screenshots, add tips or warnings, create pages to collect different guides etc.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The browser extension sometimes can slow your computer down and even make Chrome crash entirely. But this may also be connected to the number of browser tabs that I tend to have open at any given time.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the need to document processes to ensure business continuity, without being super time consuming and taking attention away from other initiatives.

 ### 47. Great for Capturing and Sharing, but Setup Could Be Easier

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre B. | Senior Finance Analyst, Gambling & Casinos, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The process to capture and point the mouse at the pictures.
The sharing process with teammates.
The embedded sharing option.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It is not easy to start.
It needs to have an app installed on the computer.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The reporting update process must be fully documented and developed into a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that includes all relevant details.

 ### 48. User-Friendly and Detailed Training Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel P.

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

{"I appreciate how user-friendly the installation process was for both the web and desktop versions.","I love that Scribe creates training material with very detailed instructions and visual cues, which is perfect for onboarding new employees.","I find the product useful for creating references and guides, helping to explain why certain policies and procedures are in place.","I appreciate the editing feature because it allows me to protect patient confidentiality while providing enough detail for staff to understand their tasks better.","I enjoy the overall usefulness and the detail the program provides, which helps me effectively communicate with employees.","I highly value the user-friendliness and detail-oriented approach of the program."}

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would not want anything changed about Scribe at this time.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create detailed training materials with visual cues for onboarding, and to generate guides that clarify policies, enhancing my training process and supporting smooth employee onboarding.

 ### 49. Great for Creating Task Guides, Though It Sometimes Adds Extra Steps

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easily creating guides for tedious tasks.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

sometimes it adds steps that aren’t required.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

creating guides for easy tasks

 ### 50. Makes work so much easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela H. | District Testing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I spend a lot of my time training employees on how to do the things at their location that I am doing at mine. It's so helpful to be able to complete my own work, while simultaneously creating a guide for others to follow. I use it weekly at minimum.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish that I could manage the way that it saves to PDF more efficiently. The breaks are not always automatically made where I would put them and a lot of space is wasted. I also wish I could turn them into a slideshow more easily.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training others to do what I'm doing at their location takes a lot of time. Scribe allows me to, with just a few clicks, show others in detailed steps what I'm doing. And I don't have to stop my work to show them.
