I rate it a 10 out of 10, or even higher if I could, because it is an extremely smart investment for me and my team.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Not much to dislike about this system but I would suggest downloading the program to your computer verses the web extension which sometimes can be "clunky".

I really like the ease of use with Scribe, you just log in and it works seamlessly. The screen recording feature is particularly helpful as it automatically highlights the clicks I make along the way. The setup was super easy, with not much of a learning curve at all.

 ### 4. Voice Recording + Screenshots Make SOP Creation Excellent

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

The combination of voice recording and screenshots makes this an excellent tool for creating SOPs.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Would love if I coudl imput our internal SOP format for it to fill in

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am transferring roles and needed to create many SOP's for my entire current role in a short amount of time. With scribe I can use my training sessions and do both tasks at once

 ### 5. Captures Steps as You Work—A Big Training Time Saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rickey G. | Lead Reentry Case Manager, Level III, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I can capture steps while I work, which saves training time.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

One challenge with Scribe is that, while it captures the steps, it is not very intuitive, and it would be helpful to have an interactive capture mode to resolve double captures and unclear connections between steps.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe solves the problem of spending extra time manually documenting and explaining processes by automatically capturing each step as I work, which significantly reduces the time and effort needed to create training materials and onboard others.

 ### 6. Essential Tool for Streamlining New Hire Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trina K B. | Recruitment Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has been incredibly useful during the training of our five new hires. We documented about 10 of our workflow processes so far and have seen wonderful success with utilizing this platform!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

sometimes the description titles on each step are quite vague, but I love the editing feature so i can add in my own description that is more detailed

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are hiring 5 new teammates and also transitioning job duties from one internal employee to another. This is an awesome platform that allows our employees to document how they do their work as they explain it to another coworker, then the training session is documented and sharable!

 ### 7. Effortless Training Material Creation with Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lizette C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how Scribe helps me easily make training material for new hiring, which is a big plus for me. The initial setup was super simple, making it hassle-free to get started.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Having more of a selection for the voice narrating.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 8. Ease at Creating SOPs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like the ease of recording; the screenshots at every mouse click are extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There's still a good amount of work that needs to be put in after recording. The screenshots need to be adjusted, and the wording needs to be updated. It's definitely faster than how I used to do it, but it's not as quick as I would like.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are a lot of processes that have lived in the heads of 1-2 people for a long time. It can be hard to have them sit down and write a step-by-step guide, but getting them to have Scribe record their work makes all of our lives easier.

 ### 9. Scribe ups the customer service game

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah A. | Member Services Specialist & Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has really helped with showing our members and users how to do things from registering to events to locating invoices in their online profile. It also saves time as once I've created a Scribe, I can keep using it for others with the same question. We've started using Scribe to create guides for our own internal processes as well which will come in handy as we onboard new staff. There's ample ways to share the Scribe once I've created it and can decide what works best in that moment.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes I have to delete multiple steps but I don't mind too much as it gives me options for what images work best for the instructions or guide I'm creating.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping both with creating internal guides that will be helpful for showing colleagues or new hires, especially for things that are done only a few times a year. It's also helpful with solving issues of customer service. Rather than sending a cumbersome email with screenshots or trying to schedule a Zoom call, we can create Scribes for frequent questions and have them either on a dedicated webpage for our users or have it ready in a draft template email to send when we receive those specific questions.

 ### 10. A Game-Changer for Creating Step-by-Step Training Guides

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has been an invaluable tool in my work as part of a training team. I use it to create clear, easy-to-follow step-by-step processes for trainees, covering everything from using Canva to handling different integrations and navigating various courses.

What I love most is how quickly Scribe captures my workflow and automatically turns it into a polished guide, complete with screenshots and text. This saves hours of manual documentation and ensures consistency across all training materials. It also helps new team members learn faster and with more confidence since the guides are simple and visually clear.

What I Like:

Extremely fast to create guides

Automatic screenshots with clear instructions

Easy to edit and share with trainees

Great for onboarding and repeatable processes

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

You need to pause recording to avoid capturing too many unnecessary images

Once you finish a guide and edit it, you can’t capture additional images anymore—you need to restart the process

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe solves the problem of time-consuming documentation. It automatically turns my workflow into clear, step-by-step guides with screenshots, which saves hours of work and makes training faster and easier for new team members.

 ### 11. Easy Tutorial Creation and Editing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott R. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how easy it is to create and edit tutorials.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes I wish I could capture something without clicking, and I want to add multiple circles/boxes to highlight things like multiple fields to look at.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am in the middle of a massive project to create SOPs, and Scribe is helping with filling it with walkthroughs. Additionally, I can make tutorials for my team's training.

 ### 12. Automated Screen Capture Makes Workflow Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subhojit C. | Data Analyst Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The automated screen capture reduces the manual efforts to take a snapshot and arrange them on slides. I just have to focus on editing the text caption for each slide which is easy enough.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have created 4 Scribes till now and did not find any anomaly.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is much easier than the manual process I used to follow when sharing content with my colleagues and friends. The steps are recorded sequentially in real time, which makes the process more efficient. Previously, if I missed a step, I had to repeat the earlier steps just to get back to the screen where I made the mistake. Overall, I find this really convenient.

 ### 13. Revolutionized Our Training Documentation Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** April A. B. | Online Writing Faculty & Curriculum Development

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has become an essential tool in my work as an online department head and faculty trainer. It completely transformed how quickly and clearly I can document workflows. Instead of taking a dozen screenshots or scheduling a video call, I can capture a process once, edit as time goes on or if small items change, and instantly have access to a clear, organized guide. I appreciate how easy it is to edit steps, add notes, and keep guides updated as systems change. My instructors tell me that Scribes make even complicated tasks feel manageable. It saves me hours every month and has improved the consistency and accuracy of our training materials. I like being able to organize Scribes into folders to stay organized and to keep like-processes all together in one area. Sharing entire contents of one folder filled with Scribes instead of having to share them individually saves time and helps me train faculty on organized processes that relate to each other. I also found the initial setup to be super easy.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would love free access to your subscription memberships. As an educator who is always underpaid and overworked, having a special educator membership that provides more expansive access to user tools and features is always a bonus for me!

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe transforms my workflow documentation, saving me hours by simplifying the process of creating step-by-step guides. It enhances consistency and accuracy in training materials, and allows easy editing and organization, making complex tasks feel manageable for instructors.

 ### 14. Loving using Scribe!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer F. | Lead Analyst/Internet Sales Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

We’ve been using Scribe almost daily for our day-to-day processes and training, and it has quickly become an invaluable tool for our team. What I appreciate most is how simple it is to capture step-by-step guides—something that used to take hours now takes just minutes.

For training new team members, Scribe makes the onboarding process so much smoother. Instead of manually writing out instructions or recording long videos, we can generate clear, visual documentation instantly. The guides are easy to follow, customizable, and can be shared across departments, which helps ensure consistency in how tasks are done.

From a process standpoint, it’s been a game-changer in reducing repetitive questions and saving time. Our staff now has a self-serve resource they can reference at any time, which not only improves efficiency but also helps us maintain accuracy in our workflows.

Overall, Scribe has made documenting, standardizing, and training on processes easier than ever. I’d recommend it to any organization looking to streamline operations and empower their team with accessible, easy-to-follow training materials.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I havent ran into any issues with scribe

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest challenges we faced before using Scribe was documenting and standardizing processes. Creating training materials was time-consuming, often inconsistent, and hard to keep up to date as things changed. Scribe solves this by automatically generating clear, step-by-step guides just by walking through a process once. It eliminates the guesswork for new employees, reduces repetitive questions, and ensures our entire team has access to accurate, consistent instructions at any time.

 ### 15. Effortless SOP Creation and Sharing

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how easy it is to create, share, and use Scribe. I appreciate the Document feature and the 'scroll' scribes, which allow us to include photos for more detailed instructions. It's incredibly helpful as it makes it easy for users to go back and see step-by-step instructions for all processes used in the office. The initial setup was very easy, and it works great for what we use it for.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Love everything

Scribe makes it easy to create, share, and use SOPs with step-by-step instructions, utilizing photos for detailed guidance. The Document feature with 'scroll' scribes is particularly useful, making the process very easy.

 ### 16. Effortless Tool with Superior Functionality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Petronella B.

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find Scribe easy to use and it fulfills all my needs at this stage. The ability to copy and paste from one Scribe to the next, especially when I have the same functionality or steps for users to follow across multiple applications, is very valuable. It's a great tool and our clients love it too. Switching from online wikis to Scribe was a good decision because it's so much easier to use and offers more functionality. The initial setup was very easy and the process was self-explanatory.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Nothing, it is a great tool especially for giving users insight into a webapp.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe reduces the need for extensive manuals by allowing users to focus on one area at a time, making web app navigation easier and simplifying task completion.

 ### 17. Easy and quick way to make detailed Procedure documents and videos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joyce C. | Pricing and Data Systems Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe allowed me to create a large amount of procedure documents in a short time just by performing the actually tasks. As I went about a project the documents were created. And editing is easy. We use have used it to create SOPs for our entire department. This had been a future project for years but we never started it because of time needed for completion. Scribe allowed us to do it with minimal extra time needed.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

No major downside. The only thing is more a user issue not a program issue. It is to remember to pause a scribe if you are doing something else in between making the document. It is easy to forget to press pause and then you must delete all those excess slides.

Also wish the PDF documents split a little better. I feel like the page breaks are not the best and I haven't found a way to easily shift them.

Finally I wish you could drop in jpegs within your steps.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is making it easier to get these how to documents created in just normal daily tasks and positions us better and more prepared for turnover and new hire trainings.

 ### 18. Effortless Documentation with Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz J. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that Scribe makes a really clean and neat PDF that's incredibly easy to share. The ability to have links, download, and make edits after capturing the steps is really, really helpful. Being able to edit information that may not need to be shared outside of our organization is a huge plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes it captures steps that aren't actually necessary and so you do have to go through and clean up the process. But, honestly, that's not that big of a hindrance.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe saves me time by speeding up process documentation, eliminating manual screenshots, and allowing easy editing. It generates clean PDFs that are easy to share, which helps when sharing processes both within and outside our organization.

Nothing yet

Scribe is helping streamline SOPs throughout my clinic, both operationally and clinically. It’s a great resource to use as a reference whenever I’m unsure about a process.

 ### 21. Auto-Created Training Guides That Save Time, but Limited Branding Control

**Reviewed by:** Holly B. | Senior Solutions Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It can automatically create training guides for customers after system demos, which saves me the time and effort of having to create them manually.

It eliminates the need for me to manually create training guides for the different areas of the software platform I support.

 ### 22. Effortless Training Docs: Scribe Captures Every Click

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really like the ease of being able to create training materials for my company simply by having Scribe capture the clicks I do on my browser. The ability for me to work while having Scribe capture every step that I'm doing and then me being able to put it all together on a training document, and editing as I see fit, makes everything so much more efficient for me.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Absolutely nothing! It's been so wonderful for me so far!

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's saving me time and effort. I used to have to create training materials by manually typing instructions on a Word Document, then taking screenshots with a snippet tool and saving it to the word document, which was very time consuming for me.

 ### 23. User-Friendly and Time-Saving Documentation Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidi W. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how Scribe is very user-friendly, making it easy to navigate and utilize for creating effective training materials. Its highly editable nature is fantastic, allowing me to customize content easily, and the ability to redact sensitive information ensures privacy and security, which is a crucial feature for sharing instructional content. I greatly appreciate how Scribe follows every click, automatically recording screenshots and information, saving a significant amount of time since I don't need to manually capture screens or indicate where to click. This automation is a huge time saver for me. The initial setup was also impressively easy; I was able to create my first scribe without any issues or additional training required, which speaks volumes about its intuitive design. Overall, these features make Scribe a highly effective tool that I would undoubtedly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I think the click dot is a little large. So that could be editable.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to minimize the need to repeat training materials for new staff or refresh team memories, saving significant time by automatically capturing screenshots and every click.

 ### 24. Great for creating SOP's

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew J. | Controller, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find it extremely easy to use. I have many clients with different systems, and web version is great for documenting processes across the various platforms. It has become my go to every time I start working with a new client. The ability to combine steps is nice. I would recommend to anyone that needs to document processes. So much cleaner than using word or excel. You can do voice transcription as well.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

i would be nice if the web version let you also take snapshots of desktop applications . ( for instance if you download a file from the web and open to use it)

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having the ability to document processes in a clean and organized manner allows for easy training when a new staff member joins the team. the SOP's and work instructions created allow for anyone to easily understand what they need to do. No more worrying about losing institutional knowledge if someone leaves, and makes it easier to cover for people when they are on vacation.

 ### 25. SOPs made easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jodie M. | Practice Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that I can perform the task and as I am doing it, and easy to follow guide is created. This saves me at least an hour for each SOP I make. I do not have to go through and make screenshots anymore. I love the editing options for the images. Making a step by step guide has never been so fun. The fact that someone can ask to be guided (almost by hand) while they follow the SOP is the cherry on the top.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The only downside is it is proactive of taking snippets of everything you do, so there can be a lot of deleting unnecessary steps when you are completing the SOP.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want an SOP for EVERYHTING that is done in our Veterinary Clinic. It is very important that there is a standard process to follow. Making SOPs is time consuming, especially if you want to to be effective. I make SOPs in a snap now, and it saves me hours!

The initial setup process was remarkably simple and quick, taking only a few minutes. Transitioning from the built-in tools of macOS and Windows, Scribe offers a much more efficient documentation experience.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don't like the limitations regarding the customization of documentation in Scribe. Specifically, the inability to upload a company template and have the software automatically follow that formatting, including logos, font type, size, and so forth, is a challenge. This missing feature means additional manual work must be done to ensure documents meet company standards.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to automate creating 'How To' documentation, quickly capturing and organizing screenshots without manual formatting. It's intuitive, easy to modify, and offers both a website extension and desktop application.

 ### 27. Create SOPs in Minutes with a Simple, User-Friendly Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

How simple it is to use and create a SOP in minutes!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Editing sometimes can take some time because the captions are so basic like "click here".

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing me to easily create step by step guide for employees who are not familiar with a new system on how to utilize certain properties in the system. I can create a quick SOP and send it to them in multiple formats which is super helpful but also there's a visual for them to follow!

 ### 28. Saves Hours and Simplifies Website/Platform Launches Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charle K. | Business & Team Lead (Accounts Manager), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I truly appreciate how much time this software saves for both my team and our entire company. As a creative agency, we launch several platforms each year for our clients, and this tool has eliminated the need for extensive training, documentation, and post-launch support from our usual processes. Scribe is genuinely saving our team hours!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The software can get a little bit slow when the procedures or steps get lengthy.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we would spend hours on creating documentation with clients branding and correct procedures captured step-by-step so that the client can manage their platform after launch. It has been an absolute time and life saver in regards to support.

 ### 29. Streamlined SOP Creation, Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana N. | Human Resources Specialist/Administrative Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that Scribe is simple to use and the tools for editing are excellent. Having the ability to hide confidential information provides accurate SOPs for clients. I also appreciate that the initial setup was easy. Scribe saves me time from using snip and even scheduling client calls for training.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would like an update on using the tools. If I make a selection on color, size, and style I would for it to save it for the entire process. Now I have to remember all the selections I previously made and select. I do use Snip tool. Because Scribe at times can't capture a dropdown list.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe for creating SOPs, saving me time from using snip tools and scheduling client training calls.

 ### 30. Incredible time saver, guarantees we actually build SOP's for our organization.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drew M. | Chief of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is as essential to our company as Loom is - the ability to turn on a capture, go through our process, and end the capture and know that at the very least we have an amazing SOP already built out where in a pinch someone else could recreate our steps is amazing. We tend to go back in and add lots of additional tips, warnings, etc., but even if not the value is there with nearly zero friction to our operations. Scribe pages has been game changer for building out our SOP's for different roles. We use Scribe multiple times per week.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The downsides used to be that they didn't have a convenient way to group scribes together in an easy to use page, but that has been solved now! It's genuinely perfect for us.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We knew early on that we wanted to document our processes clearly, without spending gobs of time. Scribe is so convenient that it has made our whole team collaborate on documenting our own processes, and then one of our users combines all of that into individual pages. This has already made onboarding of new team members SO much easier. They've loved the experience of having videos, walkthroughs, scripts, etc all in one easy to reference document for their role.

 ### 31. Scribe turned my to-dos into ta-das before maternity leave—smooth sailing for everyone!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacque L. | Registrar, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has been an absolute lifesaver while I’ve been preparing for and going out on maternity leave. I was able to quickly create clear, step-by-step guides for my team so they could easily follow processes without needing to track me down.

The automatic documentation feature made it so simple—what would have taken hours to write up manually only took a few clicks. My team now has everything they need in one place, and I have peace of mind knowing things will run smoothly while I’m away.

Scribe saved me time, reduced stress, and ensured my knowledge was shared. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone planning a leave or wanting to make their team more self-sufficient.

Scribe was my maternity leave lifesaver—easy guides, a happy team, and total peace of mind.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Scribe wasn’t perfect (I had to polish some captures), but it still saved me hours and gave my team clear guides while I was out.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is solving the problem of knowledge transfer—especially important as I prepare for maternity leave. Instead of spending hours writing step-by-step instructions, I could capture processes in minutes. My team now has clear, accessible guides, which saves me time, reduces repetitive questions, and gives me peace of mind knowing everything runs smoothly even when I’m out.

 ### 32. Streamlined SOP Creation with Zero Hassle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon E.

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how Scribe significantly reduces the time it takes for me to create educational SOPs for staff and agents. My workload is minimized because I don't spend as much time compiling and revising my own screenshots and drafts. The 'Guide Me' feature is incredibly valuable, allowing agents to follow along step by step without needing my constant oversight. This feature makes it much easier for them to understand processes independently. Furthermore, the ease of use and adoption of Scribe have been remarkable. I figured out how to use it right away, and I absolutely love the browser extension. The initial setup was incredibly simple, enhancing my overall experience with the software.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I find it challenging to track which areas have been redacted in screengrabs. It would be convenient if Scribe could recognize patterns and automatically redact the same information when it's consistently located in the same place. This would eliminate the need for me to manually edit each screengrab to ensure the information is properly redacted.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to streamline creating educational SOPs, reducing my workload significantly. The 'Guide Me' feature helps agents follow procedures independently, enhancing onboarding and training efficiency.

 ### 33. Effortless Work Instruction Creation and Seamless Integration Capabilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David B. | Process and Continuous Improvement, Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The ability to automatically capture screenshots and map clicks. The simplicity of editing captured scribes. The ability to integrate Scribes into SharePoint sites via embed function or export to printable formats (PDF).

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes the icon recognition is lacking.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company has grown exponentially over the last 3-5 years and our process documentation has lagged behind our growth. Scribe is allowing us to catch up our documentation process (WI's, SOP's) to reduce Single Points of Failure and cross-train multiple employees on tasks quickly and efficiently. Integrating Scribe into SharePoint using the embed function is also allowing us to create an extensive library of business process documentation that would have otherwise taken significantly longer and required far more resources to produce.

 ### 34. Intuitive Platform, Exceptional Image Editing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jackie P.

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find Scribe to be a huge time saver for creating instruction guides, as it minimizes the need for extensive edits to screenshots and images. I love the platform's features that allow me to blur out sensitive information in images, which is crucial for maintaining confidentiality. The capability to easily edit images, especially the zoom in and zoom out functionality, helps me focus on specific elements and exclude unnecessary items, enhancing the clarity and quality of my guides. Additionally, I appreciate how user-friendly and easy to navigate Scribe is, making my workflow seamless right from the initial setup, which was straightforward and hassle-free. My positive experience with Scribe is strongly reflected in my willingness to recommend it to others, as evidenced by my high likelihood to recommend it to friends or colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I haven't encountered anything that would make me dislike Scribe as of yet

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create instruction guides efficiently, saving time on edits. Its blur and image editing features help protect sensitive information and enhance visuals, while its user-friendly interface simplifies navigation.

 ### 35. Effortless Process Documentation That Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

What I appreciate most is the ease of use. All I have to do is turn the tool on and follow the steps of my process, and it automatically records everything I do. This has saved me a significant amount of time during my workday. I no longer need to use the snipping tool or take screenshots to paste into a document, since everything is captured for me.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I really wish there were an option to choose exactly where in Confluence a Scribe export would appear. Now that our team is regularly using Scribe, I want to update our existing SOPs, but every time I export a Scribe, it automatically creates a new page. I would much prefer to be able to add it directly into our older pages. So far, this has been the only limitation I've encountered.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool is helping me work more efficiently throughout my day and is establishing a consistent standard that our team can rely on whenever they open a new SOP.

 ### 36. Nifty, Time-Saving Tool That Makes Work Smoother

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The scope of this digital tool is really nifty. I’m consistently impressed by how time-efficient it is, and it makes getting things done feel much smoother.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I’m still working through learning it and getting familiar with all the features. I could really use some guides to help me understand everything better.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SOPs and work instructions are right at my fingertips.

 ### 37. Intuitive and Efficient, But Slightly Lags on Large Files

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah P.

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how Scribe seamlessly integrates screenshots with text, allowing me to edit them easily and add additional steps. Creating organized and comprehensive documentation is simple with its ability to generate large tables of contents that link to various documents. The user interface of Scribe is incredibly intuitive and clear, which means I don't have to spend excessive time on design or formatting—it's all built-in. I also appreciate how easy it was to get started with Scribe; after reading just one short tutorial, I was able to launch and use it right away.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I frequently experience slow load times for images when using Scribe. Whether it's capturing a screenshot or opening it for editing, the process can be sluggish. Additionally, when working with longer documents, rearranging steps is cumbersome as it often takes two or three attempts due to page lag.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create organized, screenshot-rich training documents easily, saving time with its intuitive interface and built-in formatting.

 ### 38. Streamlining SOPs with Ease and Community Power

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody C.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like most that Scribe is very easy to share and use, and I love the community section where there are popular applications and programs with pre-populated content. It's also very easy and intuitive to set up.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I think that some things that could be improved is aside from allowing there to be text, if the instruction could be done via audio for folks that don't like to read and maybe just want to listen to instruction.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to speed up creating standard operating procedures without taking many screenshots and transferring them to documents, with added instructions. It shows learners where to focus, making it easy and engaging.

 ### 39. Step-by-Step Screenshots That Save Loads of Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It takes step by step screenshots, which saves loads of time when making notes on processes.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes the screen isn't captured when there are nested steps, for example, adding a new project to our HR/Payroll system requires me to click around to capture the screen that I want to show in the notes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating clear notes with screenshots to document processes for the Payroll Department - this helps with training new hires.

 ### 40. Easy to use and Edit How-Tos

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renee R. | Director of Support & Training, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy to use. Can share in a variety of ways. You can edit just a section of it without having to re-record the entire process. The new feature to use it with the app itself is nice.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It can be difficult to find the knowledge base article needed to help with different aspects of using Scribe.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our customers often have questions on how to use our software. Scribe solves two main problems:

1. Specific customer needs a quick set of instructions on how to do something.
2. Creating visual instructions on how to complete tasks for our Knowledge Base.

 ### 41. Effortless Documentation, Saves Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meredith L.

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I use Scribe to create clear, step-by-step SOPs, process guides, and training instructions for my clients and internal teams, which lets me document workflows in seconds instead of hours. I appreciate that it captures workflows instantly as I move between applications and windows, ensuring everything is documented without the tedious task of taking screenshot after screenshot. What I like most about Scribe is how effortlessly it turns complex workflows into clean, professional step-by-step guides. The AI does an amazing job of filling in instructions, formatting everything, and saving me the time I would normally spend documenting the processes manually. Scribe fits seamlessly into my workflow alongside Monday.com, Quickbooks, Netsuite, and various CRM/ERP tools, enabling me to document processes directly from those platforms and share the guides with clients and teammates.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes I want to tweak the style or structure of steps a little more than the current editor allows. I'd also love faster syncing when multiple people are collaborating on a Scribe. The last thing is the limit of the time allowed on a scribe, some processes are longer than others and I have to split them into multiple scribes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create clear, step-by-step SOPs and training instructions quickly, saving me hours normally spent on documentation. It captures workflows instantly across applications, and its AI efficiently formats instructions, streamlining my process documentation efforts.

 ### 42. Efficient Documentation with Minor Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really enjoy Scribe's browser capture capability, which makes creating work instructions incredibly simple and quick. The ease with which I can add, remove, or change the order of instructions is another aspect I appreciate, as it allows for a seamless editing experience, including the ability to quickly add text. The 'guide me' function is something I particularly enjoy, as it elevates the user experience significantly. Setting up Scribe was very easy, which contributed to a smooth initial experience. I use Scribe to efficiently summarize and document work instructions, aiding end users in task completion by providing them with ready 'how-to' documents, which reduces the number of repeated help requests from users. This feature is immensely valuable in streamlining task execution. Additionally, using Scribe alongside our existing help desk knowledge base enhances our documentation process with a new software we recently adopted for generating work instructions. Overall, these features collectively contribute to a highly efficient and user-friendly experience.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I had problems with the desktop capture software. When I used it, the software froze my computer.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to efficiently document and summarize work instructions, reducing repetitive user queries by providing clear how-to guides.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Editing in Scribe still feels a little funky. I’d really like the editing workflow to be more streamlined and smoother overall.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces unnecessary friction and lets me create guides so I don’t have to repeat myself over and over again.

 ### 44. Effortlessly Creates and Shares Tutorials

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corinn F.

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that I can embed Scribe into sites or create PDFs, making sharing instructions a breeze. Even if I record the scribe to edit at a later date, it's incredibly easy. The ability to create and edit recordings stands out to me since, unlike Teams, I can make changes after the fact. The initial setup was incredibly easy.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The voice recorder takes some getting used to. I evidently say Yes a lot. I also have not used it to create a video, but I initially thought that's what it was for.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe for tutorials, solving repeated training issues. It effortlessly lets me embed instructions online or in PDFs, simplifying sharing. Switching from Teams to Scribe allows post-editing, enhancing tutorial flexibility.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Nothing to note, everything has worked as expected.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is helping solve bandwidth issues when it comes to finding the time to track processes, create SOPs, train new staff, and build succession plans.

 ### 47. Scribe is a game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael W. | Director of Platform Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is a very simple way to create detailed guides and walkthroughs. It's simple to to use and edit the screenshots. I also like that you can combine them into "gif"-style vids.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The site is a bit laggy at times. And it can be a little annoying to reorder steps in a large document, but zooming out in the browser makes that easier. Another thing that has been a little annoying is when you go to edit a screenshot, it automatically defaults to the "redact pen" —it would be nice for that to default to your last tool. And to be able to add multiple "click target." Finally, I wish there was an option to share Scribes with other teams — outside of the team you created the Scribe in — without having to grant permission to anyone with the link (someone could easily share an internal Scribe externally, and if the person has the link, they can access it).

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making guided walkthroughs so much easier. I used to create tutorial videos, and this is so much easier. It's incredible that I can simply update the text and screenshots, or add a new step, without having to redo a whole video or create a new PDF to send out.

 ### 48. Simplifies Slideshow Creation, Needs Desktop App Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Declan G. | Technology Aquisition and Deployment Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how Scribe simplifies my workflow, allowing me to effortlessly capture each step of the process with just the click of a button, making it perfect for creating step-by-step guides or slideshows for user manuals. The Chrome plug-in for Scribe is especially impressive, as it integrates seamlessly to capture web-based programs. This feature allows me to see in real-time what has been captured, ensuring I get the correct sections without any hassle. Additionally, the initial setup of Scribe was commendably simple, taking only a few minutes, which speaks volumes about its user-friendliness and accessibility.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I find that the desktop app does not function as well as the Chrome plugin and really needs improvement. It is not great at capturing windows that pop up quickly, which is a significant limitation. I would like to have the ability to manually trigger a screenshot or point out a specific part of the screen for capturing. Additionally, the initial setup was easy, but learning to share documents and embed them properly took some time, indicating a bit of a learning curve in sharing functionalities.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create and edit slideshows efficiently, capturing steps in real-time for software manuals, and the Chrome plugin enhances this by accurately capturing web programs.

 ### 49. Easy Process Documentation and Sharing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Candie N. | Customer Experience Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I can easily document processes and share them.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I’d like the option to choose between different items to capture, rather than being limited to capturing just a single screen.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The bottom line is Scribe saves me time. It is easy to use.

 ### 50. Easy Setup, Great for Step-by-Step Guides

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really appreciate using Scribe to publish step-by-step instructions which significantly saves time and effort for my IT department by preventing the need to repeatedly answer the same queries. The intuitive design of the web version of Scribe stands out, where it automatically captures the browser window, and I enjoy the flexibility of manually adding screenshots for applications outside the browser. I find it particularly convenient that I can modify the sequencing of steps at will, which aids in tailoring instructions accurately. Additionally, the 'Guide Me' feature is valuable, adding to the overall functionality and ease of use. The initial setup of Scribe was straightforward and uncomplicated, which is a significant advantage. Overall, these features collectively enhance my productivity and the efficiency of my team.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I tested the desktop application of Scribe and did not get too far. When I was trying to capture Foxit PDF Editor steps, it went into not responding state.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create step-by-step instructions, saving time and effort by reducing repetitive IT department queries. It captures browser activities automatically and enhances workflow with manual screenshots and step management.
