## Scribe Reviews
  ### 1. A Must-Have for Quick and Clear Documentation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annelie R. | Customer Experience Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has been a game-changer for our team. It’s incredibly user-friendly and made creating Help Center articles faster and more consistent. The browser integration was easy to set up with clear step-by-step instructions, and we were up and running in no time. It’s a huge time-saver, especially when we are constantly updating our Help Center guides as our product evolves and we launch new features. In addition to our Help Center guides, it's super useful for documenting repetitive internal processes or onboarding new team members.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

While there’s still a bit of room for improvement in customization options, such as resizing the Click target, overall, it’s a solid tool that makes documentation quick, easy, and professional. Highly recommend for teams looking to elevate their support content efficiently.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team was looking for a tool that would save us time and reduce manual work. Instead of taking individual screenshots and writing out each step, Scribe automatically captures processes and turns them into clear, shareable guides. This has saved our team a significant amount of time and made it much easier to create consistent Help Center articles and internal resources. It’s especially helpful for onboarding and support, where quick and accurate documentation is key.

  ### 2. Amazing Screenshot Capture and Activity Narrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin O. | Manager, International Benefits, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It's amazing how it captures screen shots and narrates my activities.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It doesn't capture things that I'm not doing online.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me document standard operating procedures much more quickly versus doing it manually with screenshots. Massively increasing my productivity.

  ### 3. Makes training staff so much simpler

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellie S. | Operations Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Step by step guides are made while you're doing work you'd already do, so it doesn't take extra time out of your day to complete them.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Its probably a bit too specific in the descriptions it makes for each step, so i do have to edit them quite a lot, but that takes way less time than screenshotting and writing up from scratch.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business is new, so we're in the process of setting up new systems and defining our processes. This is helping us document all of our processes as we develop them, without any extra effort or time spent.

  ### 4. Team started using it after just 1 day!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherrie B. | District Partnership Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is SO easy to use and create guides quickly for users of our platform. My team and I have been adding them like crazy and using them for all sorts of things to help our users. I can usually create one in just a few minutes. It looks so nice too. We can either share the link or download a pdf to share out. I also like the analytics that are provided and find them entertaining at times.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I'm not sure I have really found anything.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create guides quickly and easily without making individual screenshots, which is what I was doing.

  ### 5. Quick Startup and Easy-to-learn

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larry K. | Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the intelligence behind the systems at work. It is super simple to start making scribes. I have used it frequently as we are launching a new app that needs tutorials on how to use it. It has been seamless to implement into my daily routine.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The mobile version of scribe creation is a little cumbersome as it has you choosing screenshots which is ok but just not as easy as the web version.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to make tutorials for common or complicated tasks. It is also allowing me to create a "how to" hub for our company app that will help with limited training timeframes.

  ### 6. Scribe makes process documentation effortless and professional.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia J. | Product Development Intern, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe automatically generates step-by-step guides with screenshots just by recording your actions. It saves a lot of time, especially when onboarding new employees or creating SOPs. The interface is intuitive, and sharing guides is seamless with teams. It's a huge productivity booster.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The free version has some limitations in customization and branding. Occasionally, the automatic screenshots may miss a step or capture a pop-up unintentionally, requiring manual edits. More advanced editing features could improve the final output.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe solves the challenge of creating clear, consistent, and professional process documentation without spending hours on manual screenshots and writing. It streamlines the process of capturing workflows and transforms them into easy-to-follow guides in seconds. This is especially beneficial for training, onboarding, and knowledge transfer across teams. It helps reduce repetitive questions, improves productivity, and ensures that processes are standardized and accessible to everyone.

  ### 7. Scribe saved me!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen F. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

How quickly I was able to create SOP's for my team!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

We recently switched software, and Scribe was a lifesaver! The idea of having to recreate our hand-typed manual felt overwhelming. When I saw an ad for Scribe, I signed up right away. I was able to create a page with all the how-to guides for my front desk staff, so they can easily follow step-by-step instructions for anything in our new software. I highly recommend it.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool made it easy for me to quickly train my team on our new software.

  ### 8. Scribe Makes QA Documentation Fast and Consistent

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin R. | Quality Assurance Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that Scribe auto-documents each step with screenshots and text, so QA evidence is consistent and auditable. Guides that took hours now take minutes

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I miss a bulk export that compiles all Scribes in one file (PDF or Word) with a table of contents. Right now I merge them manually, which adds time to closing QA evidence

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe fixes knowledge loss and outdated guides by turning real workflows into screenshot-rich SOPs. Benefit: consistent docs in minutes, fewer bounce-backs from unclear steps, and faster onboarding

  ### 9. Game changer for creating step guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daymir S. | Director of XpertCare, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The ease of creating step guides with screen captures has allowed our organization to document our processes better. This has improved the understanding of our team on processes and allowed us to manage our documentation with ease.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I am not sure if I just haven't figured out this feature but it would be nice to create a way to insert a smaller scribes to create one end to end document. This would allow for extra time savings on processes that share the same steps and also allow for easier document management if there are changes to those processes so you can just change the specific component instead of the full end to end guide.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working within a start up it is difficult to find time to do all the things that need to be done. Scribe has saved us a ton of time when it comes to creating SOPs and it has made creating step guides so easy that we create them more often for more processes.

  ### 10. Effortless Documentation with Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how easy Scribe is to use, and we've been able to roll it out to all of our staff with ease. The initial setup was incredibly simple, and we were up and running within minutes. I find the screen recording feature for creating documentation particularly useful.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don't like that I can't use Scribe in an incognito browser, though there's a workaround with the desktop app.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding time to create documentation was tough before Scribe. It makes documentation in seconds with minimal editing needed, which is a massive help for us.

  ### 11. Business essential

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara A. | PCC Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has completely transformed how we create and share process documentation across our team. What used to take hours now takes minutes, and the end result is clear, professional, and easy for anyone to follow — regardless of technical ability.

The tool automatically captures every click, keystroke, and screen as you walk through a process, and then instantly turns it into a step-by-step guide with annotated screenshots. This is incredibly helpful for onboarding new team members, creating SOPs, or sharing client-facing how-tos.

What I appreciate most is how user-friendly and time-saving it is. Even people who’ve never documented a process before can use Scribe with ease. The browser extension makes starting a new guide frictionless, and the ability to export or share via link is perfect for both internal and external use.

Scribe has become a core part of our training and knowledge management workflow. I highly recommend it to any team that values documentation, efficiency, and reducing repetitive questions.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

However, one downside is that Scribe doesn’t allow you to export your guides as videos or movies, which can be frustrating if you’re looking to create training content in a video format.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is solving the problem of time-consuming, inconsistent process documentation. Before using Scribe, creating SOPs or walkthroughs meant taking manual screenshots, writing step-by-step instructions, formatting everything, and constantly updating versions as processes changed — it was tedious and often delayed knowledge sharing.

  ### 12. Intuitive Training Tool, But Needs More Customization Options

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roger B. | Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe makes it easy to create training materials for staff. I like the screenshots and the ease of use with the browser plugin. It is intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When creating a Scribe it will show you the exact steps with text, while you may want it to be more generic. You then have to sepnd extra time modifying the text to add more clarity.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a replacement for Standard Operating Procedures and also is a tool for training.

  ### 13. AI that can truly transform your documentation process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Previously, we spent hours documenting procedures using traditional tools like Word documents, slides, and screen capture apps. Scribe made everything easy; adding annotations is very simple and straightforward.

Aside from its main, impressive feature of automatically recording workflows, another aspect I really enjoyed was the exporting options. Scribe offers many exporting formats—I especially liked using embedded links in other tools such as Notion and our management workspace.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

A cool feature to add would be an easier way to create videos. Although it is possible to export the final result as a video clip, I found the clip a bit clunky and not very appealing to end users. Adding options for animations and interactive highlights—such as focusing on where to click—would make the video output more engaging and user-friendly.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are tasked with documenting most of our procedures in an elaborate, clean, and easy-to-understand manner. Scribe helps us achieve all of this in less time and greatly improves our efficiency.

  ### 14. Effortless Process Documentation and Sharing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather H. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Makes documenting processes and procedures so easy to share and equally easy for the person trying to learn the information.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

We wish there was a mobile app version to make scribes of other mobile apps when using a smart device.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documenting all of our standard operating procedures and using the scribes to train new colleagues.

  ### 15. A Legitimately Fun and Convenient Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth R. | Help Desk Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that it times how long the steps will take based on the screenshots it captures. I also appreciate that I can go back and add captures to the guides retroactively. If you enjoy creating visual guides, this is the tool for you!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish there was a way to ensure it captures all pop-ups that appear on the screen. Some of the websites I create guides for have pop-ups that do not get captured, so I have to go back and capture them using my computer's snippet tool.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to use my computers snippet tool to capture screenshots and then I would have to go back and rename the screen shots to keep them organized. So Scribe solves that issue by removing the extra steps.

  ### 16. Making my life easier and saving time non-stop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitch S. | Senior Implementation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I can create a fleshed out, step by step guide that can be shard in a matter of minutes. It literally saves me hours of effort when creating instructions to be shared with my colleagues. The screenshots can be edited easily and the transcriptions can be modified to be exactly what I want them to say. The integration with Google Docs is simple and allows me to create the document I want to have shared.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The only item I've had trouble with is when I want to go back and add steps to a Scribe that I've created. There isn't a clear process for doing so if it is possible.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, when creating step by step guides, I would have created Loom videos, but videos are not always the most easily accessible. You need to be in a quiet place to hear and have to find the exact part of the video that answers the question you have. Scribe allows me to create step by step written guides that previously would have taken HOURS to complete and I wouldn't have been completely satisfied with the outcome. Scribe collects screeshots, allows me to edit them, and formats them where they are all the same size and look really nice in a professional looking document.

  ### 17. Amazing product!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica A. | Executive Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

We have been using scribe in our office to create easy to follow instructions for our processes. Our staff seem to love it and it makes our lives a lot easier.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It is a bit of a learning curve to get used to it. We tend to use tab a lot in our daily use and that creates extra sections.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating instructions and SOP's takes a lot of time, however with scribe we are able to screen record and capture and this makes our lives a lot easier!

  ### 18. Fast and easy! Beats my previous capture software hands-down!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Galen D. | Chief Operating Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is very flexible and easy to use, plus it is easy to edit after the fact. I love that it can be used with virtually anything to create step-by-step instructions that illustrate a process. It's great for helping others learn how to do something that would be hard to describe. Being able to see it as it happens is a great advantage!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish it would automatically capture scrolling windows, but it's not that big of a deal. The capabilities far outweigh any disadvantages!

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can capture and document processes or procedures one time and everyone can learn from that one experience. Rather than having to take each person through it one at a time, they can do through it when they have the time and need to learn something. Saving time = saving $$$$!!!

  ### 19. Effortless Editing and Navigation Make This a Standout Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krystal R. | Director, Revenue Cycle Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Ease of use. No pressure on how quickly screens are navigated and easy to edit.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Would like to move the trigger circle on the images or remove when editing.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick tutorials and workflow distribution for both leaders and colleagues. The visual creates better ways to communicate rather than typing alone, due to viewer interpreting and organizing in their own way.

  ### 20. Game Changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Cosmetics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It makes training so much easier. It allows me to quickly and easily reference training materials needed to pass along to my team. I like how I can record my own screen and it assist with the steps and being labled.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When I am cross-referencing a form it oftern adds these in as "steps" but I am just referring to a form in order to create training materials so I have to go back through with a close eye and delete certain "steps" that arent applicable

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to view and understanding training materials that can be updated as frequently as needed! It allows me to quickly create training steps that I can share with various co-works and they are able to see the exact steps needed in the program that is being used. It solves the slow/clunky training that can sometimes happen with just a word document.

  ### 21. Scribe is a good option to create processes

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susana M. | Head of the Virtual Assistant Department, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

What I like best is the ability to edit the processes, it has a lot of options and I dont have to use any other tool.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It would be great if we could integrate video of the processes as well. I would minimice the editions that are needed in the writen scribes. If a video of the scribe was available, along with the scribe that is already avaialble, it would make scribe complete all around.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps make the onboarding process much easier, it also saves me time when training new employees.

  ### 22. Effortless Workflow Capture and Easy Editing with Scribe

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Ease of capturing workflow and editing them afterwards

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have not found anything that I do not like about Scribe

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating and sharing How to's

  ### 23. AI-Generated Captions That Truly Stand Out

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah N. | Human Resources advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Thr ai generated captions are the best fs

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

that some slides get deleted ai editing.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross department training

  ### 24. Effortless Walkthroughs with Editable Screenshots, But Needs Better Highlighting Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the fact that I can not only get screenshots along with AI generated descriptions auto logged as I walk through a process, but that I can also update the descriptions and change the click position on the screenshot if needed.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish it would also allow me to highlight areas without requiring me to click on something in order to capture the screenshot, especially at the end of a walkthrough or tutorial when there is nothing left to click on.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe enables me to create process documents that incorporate screen captures, making it simple to generate step-by-step instructions. This has been especially useful for training my customer support team.

  ### 25. Customizable and Perfect for Streamlining New Hire Training

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that everything on scribe is customizable. You can write notes on each capture to elaborate the action, as well as add a text box between capture if there's an action to be performed outside of the computer. One thing we constantly point out about scribe is that whenever a new hire comes along, it makes training much easier and limits repeating questions.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I feel that the automatic captions on each capture could be improved.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It minimizes the frequency of repeating questions with new hires- they can check Scribe if they have any questions, and majority of the time, they are answered.

  ### 26. Easy to Use, Great for Capturing On-Screen Processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy to use, great way to capture processes on screen

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It doesn't always capture exactly what I need but I can upload screenshots if I need to.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since I work remote, I don't have the option of walking to someone's desk to show them how to do something. Scribe makes it simple to show them without having to do it live.

  ### 27. No more useless meetings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vidur R. | Studio Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that I don't have to break my flow to document what I am doing, it just does it and get's that I have better things to do.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don't like that it takes what I do way to seriously, it would be cool if an AI agent of some sort helped clean up the guide to make it more of a guide and not just the exact steps I took to do something.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me creating training guides and helps me explain things to clients with out having to put to much effort into screenshots and and a word doc and making sure it makes sense or is clear what I'm clicking etc

  ### 28. Effortless to Use and a Huge Time Saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how easy scribe is to use and how much time it saves me explaining what I'm doing on the screen.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Nothing! When I started using scribe, I immediately wished I had had it in previous positions. It would have made making process guides so much easier.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to send scribes to my clients to show them how to do simple tasks, saving both of us time.

  ### 29. Effortless Guide Creation That Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sreyasi B. | Senior Data analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe makes it incredibly easy to create clear, polished step-by-step guides automatically—just do the task, and it documents everything for you.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It can miss steps or capture extra ones, so you sometimes need to clean things up.

The free version is limited, especially for sharing and customizing guides.

Complex workflows don’t always translate perfectly into step-by-step instructions.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster onboarding and training because I can share clear, ready-made guides instantly.

Less room for error since the instructions come directly from real actions.

More consistent documentation without having to redo it from scratch

  ### 30. User-Friendly Interface with Professional Results

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan W. | Tax Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how user friendly it is and with very professional results.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

So far, there is nothing that stands out.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The difficulty in conveying instructions to employees and most especially when we are all in 4 different time zones.

  ### 31. Easy to use tool for polished step by step guides!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Building Materials | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The capture tool on browser and desktop is so helpful in quickly capturing clicks and steps. It saves time by automatically taking screenshots with click targets so you can avoid manually taking a screenshot every time you need to press a button. Easy to learn how to use too!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would like to have a bit more customization in the annotation tools- specifically I find that the smallest text available is still way to big. Might also like the option to annotate with more shapes than just lines and arrows. One other gripe is that it can take a while to load- sometimes I will be sitting waiting for it to commit my changes or open the image editor.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily document my processes and easily share a link (that will automatically update with changes!) with my coworkers- making it easy to share knowledge and be consistent as a team.

  ### 32. Makes my job easier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sheree' S. | Director of Child Nutrition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I can provide step by step instructions to multiple projects for multiple skill levels quickly.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Hard to edit at times. Can't move images or targets on images if needed.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have a multitude of staff members at varying levels of technology savviness. Scribe allows me to quickly provide step by step instructions on using different software platforms, as well as add in additional steps or instructions if needed based on skill level of staff members.

  ### 33. Effortless EMR Training for Nursing Staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa S. | Nurse Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe makes it super easy to create SOPs as well as step-by-step guides for our nursing staff to assist with EMR training.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Nothing! I haven’t found any issues yet.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe helps me create step by step guides so nurses working outside office hours can still get the necessary training they need to learn our EMR system

  ### 34. Save Time and Communicate Clearly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Terrill G. | Educational Technologist in Residence, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like the integration into my browser and ease of creating and publishing a new guide. I have also been testing out the video option and believe it will be helpful for embedding content and sharing in a more public space. In the meantime, the sharing options are also easy to navigate and allow you to easily determine the audience.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I ran into an issue when I went to embed the video as I had not shared the Scribe on the other tab. Perhaps a pop-up on that tab to remind you to share or some kind of an alert that lets you know that it has not been shared would be helpful.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not required to have as many support calls and meetings once I create the scribe. I also like the time parameters listed to let the end user know that this process will only take # seconds, which gives the end user confidence and encourages them to try the process before attempting to schedule a meeting.

  ### 35. A great productivity tool for creating clear, step-by-step guides

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sravanthi T. | Lead- Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe makes it incredibly easy to capture workflows and create beautiful, easy-to-follow documentation in minutes. It saves a lot of time compared to writing manuals from scratch, and the output is very user-friendly, even for non-technical audiences.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes the formatting options feel limited if you want to customize the appearance further. Also, on longer guides, editing individual steps can be a bit cumbersome.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe helps document complex workflows quickly and accurately, which solves the challenge of knowledge sharing across teams. It ensures consistent process documentation, reduces onboarding time for new team members, and minimizes errors in following procedures. This has improved our team’s productivity and reduced the time spent creating manuals by hand.

  ### 36. Scribe is for techy AND non-techy people who hate SOPs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan G. | Founder, Systems Saved Me, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

So I despise creating SOPs (even as a systems person). They are just tedious and everyone makes them differently. Scribe allows people to just hit record, do their flow, and share it to the team. No coordination. No needing to follow brand guidelines for consistency. Just the system and move on! My kind of software.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Honestly nothing. I love how easy it is for techy and non-techy people.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing me to build something once and then send it off to my VA to have her do it multiple times. I love that it's one and done.

  ### 37. Levering Scribe for Training Guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine H. | Senior Technical Training Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has been incredibly helpful in allowing our organization to capture information for training guides. As we transition to new systems, it has been invaluable for providing our IT department with screenshots and detailed notes on system errors, as well as assisting us in determining whether our systems are passing end-to-end testing. I highly recommend Scribe to anyone considering it. By fully leveraging its capabilities, we’ve been able to collaborate more efficiently across departments.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I've really enjoyed using Scribes, but there are a couple of features that I think could make it even better. It would be helpful to have the option to name a session before starting a capture. Right now, I rename sessions afterward to stay organized, but being able to do that upfront would save time and reduce confusion.

Another thing that would improve the experience is support for uploading video files directly—especially in MP4 format—instead of only using links from video hosting sites. This would make it easier to work with files that aren't already online or are stored locally.

Overall, it's a great tool, and with these additions, it could be even more flexible and user-friendly.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe has been instrumental in helping our organization escalate errors we find during the testing stage. It’s a valuable tool for quickly documenting and sharing issues.

  ### 38. A tool every school could use!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anton T. | Technology Resource Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe overall is very easy to use to capture instructional documentation. The best thing that makes Scribe stand out, I believe, is the Chrome extension that allows people to follow along with the guides at their own pace. Videos and printed out instructions were just frustrating for our faculty and staff.

It was very easy to train teachers how to use scribe and install the extension. I've created over 50 scribes for trainings throughout the first year so far.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don't have much criticism of Scribe. I think Smart Blur will hopefully keep improving to reduce the about I have to manually blur of documentation. As a school, we have to block out a lot of information that is provided on screenshots for guides.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documentation of training materials. Scribe allows users of all skill levels to follow a step by step guide to accomplish common tasks. It helps our staff save a bunch of time.

  ### 39. Effortless Recording and Editing—So Much Easier Than Walk Me!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It's so easy to jump in and start a recording & the edit features are super quick & easy too. I also have Walk Me and barely use it because it's so confusing. I'm grateful it's so user friendly and easy to use!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There isn't anything I would change, it's been great!

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I train our customers on our software, so when they email me with questions, I'm able to go in and fulfill their request while also showing them via Scribe how to do that in the future, so hopefully I don't have the same questions multiple times.

  ### 40. Very helpful tool for standardizing and publishing departmental processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Ease of use, number of features, integration across individual scribes and other platforms, ability to group scribes together and format the group

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Not a knock on the platform per say, but I often will forget to pause the recording if I need to click to a different location within the system being recorded, and then the missteps get recorded in the scribe. But it's easy enough to fix, which is a plus for the tool.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Streamlining the training/onboarding process
- Grouping related process documents together
- Easy to update a training video/form without having to start from scratch
- Easily pinpoint where on the screen someone should be looking without having to screenshot and manually draw an indicator in the Paint app

  ### 41. Scribing experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy to create, navigate and use the Scribe software

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Dislike the function of AI Guide me arrows appearing on Scribes. Scribes needs a button to turn on and off instead of it automated.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping to create a library of manuals

  ### 42. Best software to create manuals and tutorials

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Humberto F. | Health Insurance Agent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy to use, best software to create tutorials

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

At times, the sidebar takes a while to load and occasionally causes Google Chrome to crash.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a manual of processes that the company can be benefited from

**Official Response from Meg Zabrowski:**

> Hi Humberto! We're so happy to hear you're loving Scribe :)

I wanted to reach out about your experience with Sidekick Capture. If you find it crowding your screenshots, you can always close it out (and continue capturing your Scribe). You'll just click the X in the top right corner of Sidekick (the side panel), and when you're ready to complete your capture you can do that through the extension. If you have any questions please reach out to us at support@scribehow.com. Thanks!

  ### 43. Time saving and Simple

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Regina R. | Director | Advisor Experience, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Every day I receive emails from our clients asking for help. In the past, I had to write an extensive step by step email with screenshots or schedule a zoom call. No I simply turn on scribe and complete whatever task the client needs help with. I can them simply and easily export that as a pdf and share if with the client. Every time, they send me back a response saying the instructions worked great and were easy to follow. Scribe gives the options for multiple export types, allowing you to import Scribes into training programs or embed into websites.

The software is so easy to use, that even the users on our team that are not tech savvy can simply and easily create their own scribe's to share internally or externally. This has been a game changer.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The filing system to organize different scribes is a bit complicated. You also can't really have separate departments inside the same subscription, because each "team" requires it's own paid subscription. I wish there were a better way to organize everything.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe allows me to easily train our clients, advisors and coworkers on how to complete tasks. When we roll out new software or technology it is extremely easy to create step by step instructions as easily as just doing the process and recording it with Scribe.

  ### 44. Effortless Documentation and Time Savings with Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe made it really easy to produce documentation on a new process and drastically cut down on the time needed to document it from scratch.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There wasn't anything I disliked about Scribe.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a new product that needed both internal and external documentation that I had originally started doing from scratch and it was taking a long time. Scribe made it easy to document the processes in a very short time.

  ### 45. Outstanding Time-Saver!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | Associate Minister of Worship, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The time-saving nature of it is outstanding

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Editing the screenshots (especially changing the highlighted / clicked points) could be a little simpler

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time in making processes simpler to explain. My job involves a lot of technical aspects to it, which can create a bottleneck. This allows me to easily show other staff, and the volunteers that I manage, how to do things.

  ### 46. Making even the most difficult things simple!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerad F. | Senior Manager - Strategy and Enablement, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has been able to simplify an overcomplicated process. Instead of having to capture and edit dozens of screenshots, I can simply click and create!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

My only wish is to be able to upload PDF files into Scribe. Currently, you have to convert to a jpg and you lose links and some quality when doing that.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating and updating "How To" guides in my industry is almost a full time job. Processes change often, UI/UX is changed, and with that, so are SOPs and Guides. Scribe makes it easy to make necessary updates in minutes, maybe even seconds, not hours!

  ### 47. Scribe has helped us immensely with setting up workflows & training!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I recommended Scribe for my office as a tool to help with putting together easy step by step instructions for workflows and tasks we do on a daily basis. We have since been using it and it is so easy to do screen captures then showing step by step instructions. The editing tool is easy and being able to make notations in the screen captures is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would like better features to be able to make videos instead of just screen captures.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is help us to be able to train tasks to our team members and also to outsource our lower level tasks to external processing team.

  ### 48. Time Saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donna L. | Training Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has been an absolute game-changer for my workflow. It saves me a significant amount of time on tasks that used to take hours, allowing me to focus on higher-priority projects. It’s reliable, user-friendly, and has quickly become an essential tool in my day-to-day work.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish there were more editing features.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using it, I spent hours manually organizing data and tracking tasks, which slowed down my productivity. Now, it automates those processes seamlessly, saving me time and reducing errors. It’s efficient, reliable, and has truly streamlined the way I work.

  ### 49. No Complaints

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the fact that there is an option for the browser to use as well as being able to pin it to the task bar.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I honestly do not have anything currently to reference.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is saving time when creating training material for future employees.

  ### 50. Effortless Process Documentation That Saves Hours

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Scribe makes documenting processes incredibly fast and easy. I can capture workflows in minutes, and everything is organized automatically. Honestly, there’s nothing I don’t like about Scribe—it’s intuitive, efficient, and a huge time-saver.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe makes documenting processes fast and effortless. It’s intuitive, saves time, and honestly, there’s nothing I don’t like about it.
