## Scribe Reviews
  ### 1. Scribe - so easy to use and so useful to many

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew J. | Chartered Architectural Technologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

the simplicity in creating scribes by simply carrying the task you want to teach people and scribe does the rest. The team often asks repeated questions so one scribe now answer that question for the current team and all future employees

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have yet to find a feature the doesn't work simply and efficiently.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an IT go to person it primarily helps to show users simply how to use the software we use daily, how to produce work in aconsistent manner and ensure the brand of the company is maintained.

  ### 2. Documenting is effortless and convenient

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

What I like best about Scribe is that I don’t have to spend extra time taking screenshots of the processes. Instead, I can use that time to edit and add more descriptive content, which makes the final guide much clearer and more valuable.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes Scribe records too much unnecessary information, so I have to go back and delete extra steps. Also, the step limit can feel restrictive when documenting longer processes. When I’m editing a step, if I switch to another website or tab, all my edits are lost as they don’t save automatically.
Also, when dragging steps to the top, the movement often stops, forcing me to move them one by one. This makes the process slow and inconvenient.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NA

  ### 3. Game-changer!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyrese J. | Business Development Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I have been wanting to find an easy way to create SOPS (stand operating procedures) for my business but no tool has been able to accomplish it. But then I found SCRIBE and I have been obsessed ever since!! 10/10

My team and I use Scribe very often, maybe about twice a week.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Nothing at this moment from me or my team

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SOP creation and step-by-step tutorials to make onboarding new employees quicker and smoother

  ### 4. Useful and Time Efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Myryam C. | Sales and Compliance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really like Scribe ! It's quite easy to set up and user friendly. I like that you can customize the generated SOP to your liking. I also discovered their 'Pages' and I'm quite fond of it : it's useful to regroup different SOPs under the same subject and to add information. There's even a possibility to plan future SOPs and assign tasks.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When you are editing a Scribe, there's no way to 'undo' if you delete a step.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating SOPs is really time consuming, Scribe let us puts this time on something more important.

  ### 5. Streamlines documentation and saves hours of manual work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has completely changed how I create internal training guides. It's fast, clean, and reliable. I love how effortlessly Scribe captures each step as I work, then generates a polished, shareable guide with screenshots and annotations. It saves a huge amount of time compared to manually writing documentation, and the end result looks professional with minimal editing.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The editing tools can feel a little rigid at times. Resizing or adjusting elements isn’t always intuitive, especially when fine-tuning steps. I'd also like more branding customization options for external-facing materials.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe eliminates the need to manually document processes by automatically capturing step-by-step guides as I work. This has significantly reduced the time I spend creating internal training materials and onboarding documentation. It also ensures consistency across resources, making it easier for team members to follow procedures without confusion.

  ### 6. Effortlessly Captures Complex Workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

makes it much eaaier to capture long workflows

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would like more options to edit my images

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a start-up, our workflows are constantly evolving. Using Scribe makes it much easier to roll out updated processes to our team with much less confusion

  ### 7. Project Planning Made Easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan H. | Implementation Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the intuitiveness and how easy it is to use.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There is nothing to dislike about Scribe at this time.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is solving the problem of our team not being consistent in the way we handle our clients and complete tasks.

  ### 8. Delightful user experience and game-changer for creating training documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe significantly boosts the speed, consistency, and user experience of creating training documentation. I especially appreciate the automatic screenshot capture, the orange click-highlight that guides users, and the intuitive caption boxes for adding clear instructions.

So, so intuitive and fast. Why has nobody created this before?

The Beta "Guide me" feature is a revelation. I will be using this to train users on a complex software workflow at my job. We have traditionally used words and bulleted lists to describe complex workflows, but the Scribe "Guide me" steps will be far easier.

I have not even dug deep into Scribe's features, but already know this software is a game changer for both creators and trainees.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The Guide Me feature is missing steps or getting hung up sometimes. I know this is a beta release so will be excited to watch this feature work the kinks out. Wonderfully useful. It will improve training for both creators and end users.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a Software Implementation Manager in the govtech space, creating training documentation has always been a pain point. Our SaaS platform is powerful but not always intuitive, and our end users aren’t especially tech-savvy. Combine that with a product that changes monthly, and traditional training methods—like static screenshots and step-by-step guides—just can’t keep up.

The process used to be slow and tedious. It could take hours to create documentation, only for it to become obsolete after the next release. As a result, we simply didn’t create enough training resources.

Scribe is changing that. I can now generate consistent, up-to-date documentation in minutes—not hours. That makes me more likely to actually build the training our users need. Plus, I can create a series of Scribes and share them broadly across client teams. It cuts down on the need for live walkthroughs, saving time for both sides.

  ### 9. A Powerfull tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dipen P. | IT Technician, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I would say I love how scribe allows me to capture steps in real time, by taking screenshots of each steps and even writing the steps down. The AI gerenative feature is also quite useful as it saves time on writing descriptions. The ability to embed the code into a HTML code allowed us to integrate and implement these to our IT support guide and I would say the users would go on strike if I took this away from them. We have been using Scribe for a year now and it has allowed us to provide the best support to our users so far.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

While it auto-generates guides, the editing functionality may not be as robust or flexible as some users may need for fine-tuning more complex documentation. For our organisation that require premium features, the subscription cost could be a consideration, especially for small teams or individuals.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many users find how to guide too complex to follow when they see too many screenshots and text on the how to guide, however the ability to create interactive steps allowed me to create user friendly guides while keeping users engaged and this has been benefitting as many users are looking at our how to guides before they contact the IT service desk.

  ### 10. Simple, Fast and Smart!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim S. | Support Analyst Tier 2, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the ease of use, and the many sharing options that are natively built in.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would find it more useful if there was a mobile App.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are lacking documentation in our Dept. this has been a MASSIVE time saver!

  ### 11. Amazing tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie C. | Senior Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It was so easy to navigate the app and I love the features and how well it transcribes and captures the tasks I'm performing.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Haven't seen anything I dislike yet. Would be great if you could play the actual recording of the voice.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily capturing my workflow on tasks so I can create a standard operating procedure. Used to take me hours to create these.

  ### 12. Time saver for creating SOPs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mirelys P. | Payroll Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It has been very helpful and easy to use in creating SOPs on my to do list that I always put off. I can also edit the image after it's captured and highlight different items on the same screenshot if needed. I love being able to separate the scribe with headers and keep it in the same scribe.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Not sure if it's user error but it seems to stop capturing at some point, maybe 15 min.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me create SOPs that will aid in training a replacement while out on vacation and being a tool they can reference for questions.

  ### 13. Time-Saving Screenshot Feature Makes Work Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like the number of screenshots the app takes saving me a bunch of time.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The transcript needs a bit of editing, but it's still nice to not have to type it all out.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time taking screenshots.

  ### 14. Scribe changes the game for SOPs!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa C. | Online Business Manager, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe saves me TONS of manual time that I was previously spending manually documenting technical SOPs!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don’t have anything negative to add. I LOVE Scribe!

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Scribe I was manually typing out all of my SOPs and taking screenshots to document my processes into lengthy documents. Now my time has simple, concise instructions and can truly follow me step by step on repeatable processes!

  ### 15. Creating instructions and processes becomes child's play

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Ideal for creating software tutorials. The subsequent editing of text and screenshots, as well as redacting sensitive data, are easily achievable. Exporting as a PDF or sharing via link works smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

In complex processes with many branches or context-dependent steps, manual post-processing is indispensable. The mere recording of clicks is not always self-explanatory here.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a software provider, we must efficiently onboard users to our system. The manual creation of guides for each function of our software was a constant bottleneck. Now, we create visual guides for all core functions of our LMS in minutes. New customers learn the system much faster and with significantly less direct support effort.

  ### 16. Easy to Use with Helpful AI, but Needs Better Scribe Combining Options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Simple to use and has AI to add to the task at hand.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I am unable to add to a scribe if I haven't completed all the steps. While I can add a screenshot, I can't merge two separate scribes into a single one.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing training and demonstrating tasks helps to streamline the workflow.

  ### 17. Easy to create and share!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brooke R. | Client Services Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love being able to create a quick guide and send them out to my clients. Installing the extension is a great way for me to seamlessly begin to capture a scribe while I'm in a client's account and can walk them through click by click to get them the guide they need. Then, with a small amount of tweaking the steps, I can send off my guide! And I love that as our software adds features, we can keep our scribes up to date by simply editing them! We have our scribes organized into folders for our software modules, so they are easy to locate. I use Scribe almost daily to send guides to clients. Its very easy to use and easy to learn.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I haven't found anything yet that I do dislike about it!

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to tell clients how to do the same things multiple times. Before, we'd have to type out an email giving the same directions over and over...what a time consuming waste! Now, we create 1 guide and can send it to multiple clients because chances are...someone else has that same question. Saves us so much time!

  ### 18. Would highly recommend to anyone

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shania P. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The ease of use and the ability to integrate extensions within both Edge and Chrome are definite advantages.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It's frustrating that you can't edit comments while you're clicking. This limitation makes it less convenient to make quick changes or corrections as you go.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The lack of established processes is a concern and helping us have documentation to train future employees

  ### 19. Game-changing tool for productivity & Customer Success enablement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has completely transformed the way I work in Customer Success. It's my go-to tool for onboarding new team members and enabling clients with clear, visual process guides, without the time drain of manual screenshots and videos.

The impact on productivity and knowledge sharing is tremendous. What I love most is how intuitive it is to use, and how fast it is to create helpful content. I also appreciate how frequently the product improves—new features are rolled out at a great pace and always feel aligned with real user needs.

It helped Customer Support, instead of providing written guidelines, to record a workflow in 5min.

Integration doesn't require anything, really. Easily embedded into your internal or external help centers.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

MULTI LINGUAL Scribes would be awesome!!! Not to have to create various Scribes for the same workflows if we have an international client base. Esp. if translated by AI

The dashboard and collaboration features have room for improvement to better support team-wide visibility and shared workspaces, but even as is, Scribe already offers fantastic value and continues to get better.

Videos made out of Scribes could be enhanced.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe helps me solve two critical challenges: 1. scaling internal knowledge and 2. delivering consistent, high-quality client enablement.
Internally, we use it to streamline onboarding for new team members and ensure that our Customer Success workflows are clearly documented and easy to replicate across regions.
Externally, it’s become an essential part of how we train clients on Cleafy’s platform and answer Customer Support tickets.

  ### 20. Lifesaver for PTO prep!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It's so easy to use and all you have to do is click on the Scribe widget (if using the browser version), select the window you want to capture, and go about your workflow. It picks up every click, every scroll, every time you type. Then you can just edit it when you're done.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I found there is a bit of lag when editing a capture. For instance, if I wanted to change the text of one of the steps, it takes 1-2 seconds for the text to start changing or the step to move where I want to put it.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves time having to take time consuming screenshots and manually creating instructions for certain workflows and SOPs.

  ### 21. A great productivity booster!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt F. | Product, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is a super helpful tool that makes documenting processes incredibly easy. I really like how intuitive it is—perfect for creating step-by-step guides quickly. My only wish is that it worked more smoothly on mobile devices. Still, it’s a great productivity booster!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

My only wish is that it worked more smoothly on mobile devices.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier demos and user release notes for SaaS platform

  ### 22. Easy and Intuitive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is easy to use and efficient to complete multiple projects in one sitting.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It does not let you download the Scribe video of tutorials created. That’s a frustrating feature with an easy backend fix. I would continue paying for Scribe and actually upgrade to the enterprise subscription if that feature was available.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is saving time by making a tedious task much more efficient and enjoyable.

  ### 23. excelent service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is so easy to use, very easy to edit the content and make it work for whatever training I am working on.
I love that I can share it with a share link or with a pdf.
I use it weekly, it is so helpful to have the extension added to my google chrome and just with one click i get to start recording. GREAT SERVICE

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The only thing I would suggest is making it easier to delete a capture without deleting the whole scribe, if I make a mistake I have to wait until I edit it to delete wrong captures, this might be a me error, but I havent found a way to get rid of a capture without deleting the whole scribe at the time of "recording"

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps my agents be able to follow insrtucions and steps without having to reach out to me with basic questions.. so easy to use and share

  ### 24. Good software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy to get visuals on the SOPs I'm creating

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The AI descriptions on each click don't have any context and the AI generated content isn't accurate

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding new employees to the software

  ### 25. Easy to Use, Super Time Saver!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natasha B. | Human Resources Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

- I love that its easy to use and navigate
- Has saved me so much time repeating myself to colleagues who don't follow my process
- Has helped with creating a handover as i am about to exit the business
- Easy to implement and share with others in multiple different ways. PDFs, Video, Internet Browser.
- I find wasy to use this EVERYDAY!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Would be useful to be able to instead of pages, create 'Projects' for scribes to go into.. not needing to be put on a page, but into a folder within the platform and give specific people the access to the scribes they need.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Official Response from Nico Carmosino:**

> Natasha this is incredible — thank you so much for sharing your feedback here! We're thrilled to hear how much time its saving you and how easy the sharing options are.

The concept of 'Projects' is super cool, and we're thinking a lot about organization in 2025. We do have folders available (more information here: https://support.scribehow.com/hc/en-us/articles/6855142689309-Creating-folders-and-saving-documents) but understand the access restrictions could be beneficial for sure.

We wish you the best of luck in your transition and hope you'll take Scribe along with you to document any new processes! 🤓

  ### 26. Quick & easy document creation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah B. | Software Test Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how easy it is to create and edit scribes (especially with the Pro version). The ability to create pages with embedded videos is a fantastic way to create training documentation.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I do not like how the videos for embedding do not allow recordings from Teams etc.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is massively reducing the time it takes to create training documentation, allowing more time to work on other projects. It also means that we can have a faster turn-around on supporting documentation for when new features are released on our platform.

  ### 27. Scribe makes my life so much easier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how it automatically turns what I’m doing on my screen into step-by-step guides. It saves me tons of time when I need to show someone how to do something. Super easy to use and really helpful for training and sharing processes.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Embedding slides or presentations isn’t as smooth as I’d like, but overall it’s a great tool that keeps getting better.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is solving the problem of unclear or inconsistent process instructions. By creating step-by-step guides with images and clear visuals, it makes it much easier for employees to understand and follow procedures. This reduces confusion, cuts down on mistakes, and saves time answering repeat questions. It’s helped us streamline training and ensure everyone is on the same page.

  ### 28. Work and Scribe at the Same Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany J. | Operations Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that I'm able to seamlessly create a scribe while doing my work. The pause, blur and multiple other features make the process smooth. It's a lot easier to edit and add input later rather than to stop what I am doing to manually create a document. Also, the AI tools are fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

My computer and systems seem to slow down quite a bit while in the process of creating Scribes on specific databases.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe allows more time and flexibility when creating SOPs for our teams.

  ### 29. Scribe is a great tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lex C. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Very user friendly, low lift, all you have to do is turn it on and the steps are captured for you..

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Captures all clicks which is good - but if there was a way to toggle that on and off while you are working on something so it doesn't capture a million clicks. also maybe an undo feature so it doesn't capture a step you accidently clicked.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capturing SOP's to train internal team and keep record of step by steps.

  ### 30. Easy to use! Quick and resourceful.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is so simple to use. All you do is start capture and click away. I have made SOP's, learning plans, courses and tutorial videos and this cuts my time in half being able to quickly help troubleshoot any tutorial.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Every once in a while, especially if it is a longer process- in the middle of editing, the screen will start to jump and makes it difficult to select the correct text field to adjust what I need to.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Addressing different learning styles within the company, I am able to incorporate screen capture into my video tutorials.

  ### 31. Extremely friendly and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose Albano F. | Project Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The fact you don't have to build anything from scratch, the screen capture process is amazing!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The user interface needs work, I don't like how confusing it is, especially when trying to find my scribes, I feel its a bit disorganized, I would like to be able to see everything in rows and maybe by date/category...some type of sorting option. I also don't like that other peoples scribes come out in search. I just want to see my own.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just the fact that you can build a process step by step so easily and then share it with a click of a button. That I can easlily modify and change things on the fly. And that I can then embedd into my website. Very very useful!

  ### 32. Easy to use and Edit recording software for training

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny W. | SAP Trainer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I liked how easy it was to capture each screen without having to use a separate screen capture software. It was also easy to edit the scribes.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish there was a way to move a screen capture within the Scribe. I was only able to find a way to move to the end or top of the scribe. It may be operator error.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is enabling me to create training documents for a new computer system with ease of use.

  ### 33. Easy to use and time saver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lori D. | CPhT, Pharmacy Leadership Team, Project Manager, Clinical Team, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that scribe is user friendly and I'm able to figureout items and edit just by clicking and checking how options work. The AI description has been spot on! All the edit options help me easily create how-to guides and I like that you can still add another image as needed. Scribe has saved me time so I can quickly get info out and shared to our staff. Scribe is easy to go back to edit and also like the ease of sharing.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The only thing I dislike so far, is that sometimes the image is cut off and doesn't show all the info. But that may be that I need to ensure I click closer to the image area. Still fairly new at it and know it will get better as I create more Scribes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe has eleminated the need to capture many individual screen shots and saves a lot of time. Scribe is also quickly shared to enable quick implemetation.

  ### 34. Game-Changer for Documentation and Training!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan D. | Chief Operating Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

ScribeHow has revolutionized the way I create and share documentation for my team and clients. The tool’s ability to automatically capture step-by-step instructions while I perform tasks has saved me countless hours of writing tutorials from scratch. The visual clarity and professional look of the guides make it easy for anyone, regardless of their technical expertise, to follow along.

I particularly love how simple it is to edit and refine the guides post-capture. The integration options and the ability to share directly or embed into other platforms ensure the guides are always accessible where needed.

ScribeHow has not only streamlined my workflow but also improved my team’s understanding and execution of tasks. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient and user-friendly way to create documentation or training materials!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Nothing at all. This solution has really helped my MSP with documentation. I love it and clients love it.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to easily and quickly create guids for my customers and employess on how to do certain task, as well as how to handle certain internal procedures.

  ### 35. I LOVE SCRIBE!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taryn T. | Senior Bookkeeper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love Scribe so much. I am a bookkeeper and explaining and screenshotting processes takes forever. This way i can record SOPs and share them with multiple people. I can also save them to share with future employees. It is also so easy and fun to do (serioulsy, it is fun)
I use it easily 3-4 times per week and the people I share it with are always surprised how easy it is to use and how professional the finished Scribe looks.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

not much...
The limit onthe free account is kind of a bummer though

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it just makes everything more clear, concise and accurate

  ### 36. Training process made easier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noemi Q. | Customer Service Department Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the idea of scribe and how you can edit the screenshots to your liking and save to a dashboard for your team members to review

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Whenever I create a scribe, my browser runs VERY slow causing a delay in what I'm doing.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to run through a process and have scribe capture my steps has allowed the training process to be more smooth and when implementing new process to the team they can easily follow along and learn with minimal assistance

  ### 37. Very Useful for Documenting SOPs and Highlighting Key Processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Very useful for documenting SOPs, highlight specific processes.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I dislike that if you accidentally click something, it always records.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solve issues following SOPs.

  ### 38. Amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The ease of creating SOPs just by clicking screen capture and I can still do my regular tasks at the same time. Im literally creating step by step instructions for other coworkers and future employees all while doing what I need to do. It doesn't take any other extra time away from my daily tasks. I do like how I can edit each screenshot and then when its complete I can easily share it with my team collaborators or send directly to another employee for step by step instruction.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I'm not a fan of how I have to switch to the desktop app if I want to screen capture from desktop apps. A lot of what we do jumps from web based programs to desktop while performing certain tasks and the fact that I have to stop my flow to go to the desktop version and then combine the scribes together is somewhat annoying.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company is growing quickly and we use multiple platforms. I started using SCRIBE to assist in building our SOPs and Procedures manual for the new employees to follow.

  ### 39. Saves me so much time!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie S. | Vice President, Consumer Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

This saves me so much time in creating SOPs. We recently switched to ServiceTitan and I'm using Scribe almost daily to share best practices. I loved the blur out feature. It's also so easy to update processes if we change a step.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I haven't found one yet. I really enjoy all of the features.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me so much time in giving others step-by-step instructions!

  ### 40. Game changer! Has simplified the documenting process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharon E. | Chief Financial Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Its ease of use and intuitive design have made documenting processes a breeze and cut hours off the workday.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I can't think of anything that I don't like right now

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training and development of staff

  ### 41. Excellent system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edwin L. | Human Recourses Generalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

How easy to navigate and create reports.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

No issues at the moment, love the system and it makes my job easy

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

help me a lot with the time i used to spend creating SOP's, reports, etc

  ### 42. Amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

that it creates quick and easy guides! It's easy to share them with my colleagues and easy to edit them if needed. I use this every time I need to demonstrate a new procedure to someone. The customer support is amazing, someone is always there when I need help or have questions, and it's straightforward, super simple to start recording and creating guides

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have no complaints about scribe, it is great

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

creating step by step guides

  ### 43. Quick and easy documentation while still doing the task at hand

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davey W. | Senior Technical Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The best part about Scribe is that I can quickly and easily document instructions for my team while still completing the task at hand in real time. No need to stop to take screenshots to put into a document, just start it and go. You can even pause the capture if you need to take a second to move on to another task or forget the next step yourself!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It used to be their desktop capture app as pausing was not possible but that has since been updated and works wonderfully. At this point theres little to nothing to dislike about Scribe!

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe has helped us significatly with our lack of documentation due to lack of time. Most times we were not able to document the proceedure or resolution fro other techs due to having to jump from one item to another. Now we can keep up on documentation and still complete work per normal.

  ### 44. Swift and simple way to create instructions and manuals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joakim E. | Project Manager, website administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

- Smart and accurate screen captures that follow your actions on screen.
- Both browser integration and desktop app.
- It's easy and convenient to organize your Scribes in the admin interface.
- Pages make it easy and convenient to publish and organize your Scribes publicly.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There are still some rough edges in the editor, but they're continuously making improvements.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It eliminate the time consuming task of screen capture and cut and paste

  ### 45. It has been incredibly useful for explain the use of software / tools within the business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

it is easy to use. provides a document in a format that can be easily distributed to users in the company. And the tools provided, such as draft AI, help increase the speed at which that process occurs.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

the pages would be a handy document if you could embed document files within them and export them to PDF with the option of removing or changing some functions if users have links or online storage for the other files already

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helping me record the actions more closely for a deeper explaination

  ### 46. Creative & Visual Way to Create SOPs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Racquel H. | Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

What I like best about Scribe is the ability to create a visual instruction process that is clear and makes training much simpler!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

What I dislike about Scribe is the times where the Capture has not picked up on the next action I am taking, and I have to repeat the action more than once to get it to capture the way I would like. For instance, I want it to pick up on a new tab, but instead it will continue to say "Click here..." instead of "Navigate to" or "Switch to Tab".

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Technical Writing can be time consuming and not always easy for others to understand when they are in the training process. Scribe allows for Operating Procedures to be captured in a way that appeals to many who best learn in a Visual Hands-On way, especially those who are neurodivergent, such as with ADHD, and a long manuel can be easily distracting, whereas Scribe draws you in and keeps you focused in a way that a traditional sop manual does not.

  ### 47. Love, love, love Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Theresa N. | Technology Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I just found out about scribe about 6 months ago. This program is so easy to use and fast. I work on a tech help desk and to help describe how to do something would take so long. Now, I just create a scribe and it does most of the work for me. It automatically takes screen shots and highlights what to click on. It records the keys I'm pressing as well. I also love that I can quickly edit the wording, if needed. With the paid version I can blur out stuff that I don't want to be seen and edit the pictures even further. Customers that have viewed the scribes I have made have really thought it was easy to follow along. It is also so easy to implement. It is a chrome extension for the free version, and a desktop version you download for the paid version. The free version is very functional on its own which is very nice. I just needed what the paid version gave me, but even the paid version is well worth the money and so inexpensive.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don't like on the desktop version of scribe when you are doing your capture, you don't know for sure that it is working until you are all done. With the chrome extension, you can see on the screen that it is capturing screen shots, but when you use the desktop version, you have no idea if it is working until you are finished.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This program allows us to quickly and easily create directions for our customers and are creating a knowledge base for our customers to reference when they need to know how to do something. This program is so fast to use. In the amount of time it takes you to actually do the action, your directions are created. Just a little tweaking possibly needed and they are done.

  ### 48. Scribehow review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angel . | Lead IT Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

What I find most helpful about Scribe is that it's very easy to create steps on just about anything. I never used Scribe before joining my current company, but it has made describing processes to users so seamless. I mostly use the web browser extension but have recently started using the Scribe app on my computer, but also does an excellent job with recording. I have used it so much since I've worked with the company. The ease of use for users is what really makes this a great prodcut.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Most things are great with this site and website. The only downside is that it is not compatible with Mozilla Firefox, so there's no extensions. Due to this, I had to download the Scribe application.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe helps show people in the company how to do something without have to take up your own time. There are those users who are almost impossible to connect with, so sending a Scribe on how to do something really takes the hassle of meeting so much better. Regardless of how simple of a step something may be, having a Scribe created saves us a lot of inconvenience.

  ### 49. Clear visuals to support staff

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The software makes it fast and easy to create visually appealing tutorials for staff, and then organize them into pages of collections of items. Those collections then can be auto-indexed. Over time, I've created separate pages/collections for different software products we utilize in our organization. My staff are finding it much easier to remember where the tutorials are, and then find the specific tutorial they need. The browser extension feature is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There are just tiny things that are a little unintuitive until you spend some time learning them. The pages feature can be glitchy at times.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My organization uses a lot of different software products, all with their own specific features and use. Staff members may only use a product periodically, e.g. the end of a semester. I need to create a lot of visual guides for a lot of different products and then organize them in a way staff can find them quickly.

  ### 50. A reliable assistant for quickly generating manuals

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** zhijian l.

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that Scribe can automatically record the operation process, including clicks and screenshots. The guided tour feature after sharing also makes me very satisfied.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

User registration is required for navigation, which limits the scope of use.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to quickly take screenshots and document the operation process, which allows me to quickly generate manuals. It can automatically record the clicking process and take screenshots, and the guide feature after sharing is also very practical.
