## Scribe Reviews
 ### 1. AI Screenshot Reading Makes This Tool a Time-Saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Prior to the AI improvement, this tool was not time efficient. With AI reading my screenshots and combining steps, it is so much better and I would definitely recommend

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Max step limit. It could be longer. Sometimes there are a lot of intermediate steps and I hit the max, but that isn't an issue with the AI tool sifting those out

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding. we had zero onboarding documents before this

 ### 2. Effortless Real-Time Documentation with Clear Steps and Transcription

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe takes a task I usually procrastinate on, documentation, and makes it much less painful. Instead of having to run through a “sample case,” I can create a Scribe while I’m doing the real process in real time. I like that it captures steps as I work and turns them into something clear and usable without interrupting my flow. The transcription piece has been especially helpful since I tend to narrate my processes anyway, so talking through what I’m doing and having that turn into documentation feels very natural. The screenshots and step-by-step format also make it easier to share instructions with people who have different levels of technical comfort.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Because it captures everything, it can sometimes capture too much. If I move quickly, correct myself, or jump around, I usually need to go back and clean things up. I’ve also had moments where I forgot to stop a capture or accidentally deleted an active process mid-task. I wish there were a way to recover or access an accidentally deleted capture in the moment before it’s saved as a Scribe, even briefly. Editing is straightforward overall, but longer workflows still take some time to polish. I’d also like more flexibility in formatting for situations where the documentation needs to be more formal or externally facing.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe solves the “I’ll document this later” problem, which usually means “never.” Being able to document real workflows as they happen means the instructions are accurate and current. That’s reduced follow-up questions, improved consistency, and saved time that would otherwise be spent re-explaining the same steps.

 ### 3. Comprehensive and nice user guide which can be made instantly!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

User friendly interface, easy to use without the need to read through manual or whatever to learn. And can share the link to other readers but I still can amend and update the content as needed.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

there is version history that you can load back your previous save, while sometimes I wish to load back just the previous step that I made it wrong but seems that I cannot do this.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Save me lots of time to capture the screenshot without the need to put it in a word document when creating the user guide. It also allows pdf generation so that I can make a nice document for record.

 ### 4. Give Scribe a Try - Definitely Worth It

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is easy to get started. Once you've created your account, you simply start capturing your information. No detailed instruction manual required.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I really haven't come across any down sides to using Scribe, the only thing that can be more of a nuisance is being interrupted while in the middle of a rather long capture. Coworkers needing information on the screen you're capturing.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company is creating a new workflow process while also switching to a new user database. By being able to capture screens, edit them to contain specific information and tailor how they are viewed is literally "life changing". I was skeptical at first, until I did one Scribe then tried to create a similar document using the Word program. Incomparable, it's the difference between using CGI Software and Crayons. Scribe is also a time saver. Not only the time creating instruction documents or SOP manuals but cutting down the need for multiple virtual team meetings to discuss company changes. Highly recommend Scribe.

 ### 5. Effortless SOP Creation with Screenshots and Full-Screen Recording

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastián T. | Senior Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how easily I can make SOPs for different processes, the fact that I can do it taking screenshots and even download an app for me to record mi entire computer is awesome!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It would be better if I can add more than 1 click target so I can include more simple steps in the same image

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documentin processes across the accounting cycle more efficiently and giving clarity to it

 ### 6. Helpful AI Commentary and UI, but Performance Can Be Glitchy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Automatic AI commentary is helpful as well as the online UI.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Performance is less than optimal overall. The website can be glitchy, especially when I try to add new captures to an existing process. In addition, the integration with Windows feels limited: there’s little control over delays in screen captures, and it’s difficult to set specific capture settings on a per-application basis.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m creating a procedure guide for my department, and many of our processes involve a lot of clicks. Scribe helps me document everything at a granular level, so the steps are clearly captured and easy to follow.

 ### 7. Easy to Use but PDF Exports Need Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that Scribe is easy to use and edit, which makes it self-explanatory and doesn't need further examples. It makes creating instructions for other employees straightforward. The initial setup was very easy, contributing to its user-friendliness.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When I export it to a PDF, the page breaks are wonky and not after each slide so that makes them difficult to understand for those I send them to.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe for making instructions for employees. It's easy to use and edit, which is self-explanatory, but exporting to PDF has wonky page breaks making them hard to understand.

 ### 8. Scribe Makes Process Documentation Visual and Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kerri H. | Customer Success Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is a great tool for creating processes and procedures that replaces boring written procedures with helpful visuals.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Scribe could make organizing processes within the software a little more user friendly.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's making it easier for new hires to learn our processed and procedures and cutting down on mistakes made by said new hires. It's also helping current employees when there are process changes.

 ### 9. Streamlines Documentation with Customizable Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana Z. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that Scribe helps me easily capture the step-by-step workflow when I'm creating knowledge center documents. The experience is great because I can create documents while testing the app, so I save time by doing two things together. I like that it's fully customizable and that I can add more steps after the first capture if I miss anything. If there's an update or I need to make changes, I can update the document without having to recreate it. Also, the initial setup was easy.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I think the auto-generated instructions for the steps can be improved. They could be more descriptive.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe helps me easily capture step-by-step workflows. I save time by creating documents while testing the app. The feature that allows adding more steps makes it flexible to update the documents without recreating them.

 ### 10. Fast, Editable Step-by-Step Guides Across Multiple Platforms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** PALAK S. | Online MCAT Physics Tutor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I liked that generates straightforward instruction steps to follow and I can edit the steps aswell. I can create scribe from multiple platforms. And its quite fast.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Should give a disclaimer before including every click.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time, easy to share and not expensive

 ### 11. Effortless Manual Creation, Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oskar K.

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like the seamless integration in the browser and the ability to record desktop applications. Scribe makes it easy to create manuals for the software we use at our company. I really appreciate how you can activate the extension with just two clicks, and you're immediately ready to record. Plus, it shows me which actions were captured, which gives me more control. It's also very easy to edit afterwards, which is a big time saver.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Putting a few steps together into a GIF with AI doesn't give me any control to emphasize certain things. I want to be able to slow down transitions and highlight something before proceeding.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to quickly create manuals that are easily editable and sharable. It seamlessly integrates with browsers and records desktop applications, eliminating the need for manual screenshots and enhancing efficiency.

 ### 12. Easy Documentation Creation and Sharing

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlyn A. | Senior Project Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Ease of use when creating and sharing documentation.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

That in order to share a link to the scribe, the person viewing must also have a scribe account.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating documentation for multiple processes. This has benefitted us when onboarding and providing internal documents to support team member decision making.

 ### 13. Saves Hours on Process Documentation—A Must-Have Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cade K. | Service Support Dispatcher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The best part about Scribe is how much time is saves you. Saves time instead of taking screenshots. We are able to document processes and share them quicker than setting up a meeting. And you can be as thorough as you need to with its editability. I find I am using it more and more often.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There was only one instance instead of sharing the link, I accidentally granted a license to another user who did not have one. But that was my first time using the platform with no training.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is helping us document processes that were previously undocumented. And its helping us train useres with the correct processes with each click documented through scribe.

 ### 14. Scribe Is Easy to Use, Thorough, and Simple to Edit

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes its hard to maneuver around to find where my scribes are or my other teammates scribes are

The payroll manager is leaving and I am taking her place. SHe has set up scribes for all of her tasks so I have instructions to look at while Im learning how to do her job. Its brilliant

 ### 15. Easy to Use and a Real Time Saver-Wished I Had This Years Ago!!!!!!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is very easy to use and is a time saver.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Need to send pdf trainings out a lot and the combined screens into one does not work for that function.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is able to create training documents for a large volume of persons who work remotely or across various offices. It is an easy tool to use so has saved so many hours for project based training needed. Pricing is fair for the robust nature of the program.

 ### 16. Versatile Features with Improvement Area in Video Recording

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah B. | Receptionist Intern Program, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like the scroll, movie, and slide feature in Scribe because people learn via different formats, so this is helpful to cater to different audiences. As a beginner, I know how to capture, use the desktop application, edit steps, and add tips.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would like an option to video record guides

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to document how-to guides for internal teams, aiming to curate easy-to-follow instructions. I like the scroll, movie, and slide feature because people learn via different formats, which is helpful to cater to different audiences.

 ### 17. Intuitive and Time-Saving Tutorial Creator

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia A.

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that Scribe is very intuitive and easy to use. I love the editing feature and the ability to pause my Scribe if I get distracted during my workday. The step-by-step tutorials pick up steps I wouldn't have thought were helpful for sharing, making it a game changer for saving time and releasing training material more quickly. Setting up Scribe was also super easy.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I think it would be great if there was an 'undo' option in case you accidentally delete a slide. It would also be useful to have an option to not include text entries as steps, like all the spacing required during entering text fields.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to set up digital systems, enhancing efficiency. It's intuitive and easy to use. The editing feature and pausing capability are great. The step-by-step tutorials identify helpful steps for sharing, saving time and speeding up release of training materials.

 ### 18. Streamlines Documentation but Needs Consistent Platform Experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like Scribe's ability to click through a process and have it transcribe into a document that I can share. It's super helpful to be able to click through and talk through a process as I'm going through it.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There seems to be a gap between the desktop and web. When I'm editing a Scribe on the web browser but need to add something from a desktop, the transition is not as seamless as I would like it to be.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe simplifies creating how-to documents and walkthroughs for accounting processes to share with other members of the organization.

 ### 19. Effortless SOP Creation with Automatic Guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathanial L. | Teacher of IT & Computer Science, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how easy Scribe is to use. I just hit start and perform the necessary function or SOP, and then the information is automatically recorded and a guide is generated. The ability to make clear, easy-to-follow guides with automatic screenshots and AI-generated instructions saves me time compared to creating guides manually. It's especially beneficial for sharing detailed guides and processes remotely, which is crucial for working with an internationally displaced team.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would prefer a Firefox extension as I routinely use this browser over Chrome.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe creates clear guides with automatic screenshots and AI instructions, saving me time. It helps share detailed guides remotely with my team, crucial due to displacement.

 ### 20. Effortless Documentation with Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how easy Scribe is to use, especially for recording audio and having it record the text to go along with the photo. It's an excellent product. I find Scribe very efficient and easy to export to PDF, which is great for our libraries. Sharing with team members is straightforward, and the initial setup was easy, making it simple to understand how the system works. The ability to add text alongside photos adds speed and is the most effective way to communicate the steps involved.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There is nothing I would say I do not like about Scribe.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to document processes or instructions for team handoffs. It's efficient, easy to use, export as PDF, and share with team members.

 ### 21. Quick Setup and Efficient Document Sharing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pieter V.

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I use Scribe to document steps that clients are supposed to follow. It reduces the amount of calls I get and the time I spend trying to explain something to a user. I do something once on Scribe and can send it to everybody. I like that it's quick and easy to use, and it screenshots every time I click. It's very customizable, which helps me add detailed explanations, tips, and warnings in the scribes. It gives me time to do other important tasks. The initial setup was very easy and quick, not difficult to set up or learn.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish it was more customizable, like having arrows or more color options for boxes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe reduces the number of calls and time spent explaining things. I use it to document steps once and share with clients, freeing up time for other important tasks and providing detailed instructions.

 ### 22. Effortless Tutorial Creation, but Requires Keystroke Precision

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devin K.

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that I can just go through the process for myself and then go back and edit for clarity. I appreciate that I don't need to think about creating explanations upfront. It helps because I can do whatever the process is that I'm trying to teach quickly and easily. When I have that template from Scribe, I can add my own touches and details as needed without starting from scratch. The initial setup was really easy.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When I'm creating tutorials with Scribe, sometimes the things I click on don't register properly. It captures every keystroke, and some of them end up being confusing or irrelevant. Also, some screens don't have a picture taken when they should. It would be helpful if Scribe could zoom out a bit and focus more on the goals of the process rather than just the exact keystrokes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create step-by-step tutorials, giving students clear directions. It enables them to work independently, allowing me to focus on complex issues.

 ### 23. Streamlines Documentation, Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keileigh B.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really appreciate that Scribe is a huge time saver, cutting back my time spent making training materials by approximately 70%, which gives me time to do other things. The screen capture feature is fantastic and makes life so much easier. I also like that I can censor sensitive information, which is really handy. Setting up Scribe was super easy; I just signed up and got started right away.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There are times it doesn't capture buttons on the screen. Like when you're doing a drop down and have to click a check mark to close the drop down, it doesn't tend to pick up on the check being clicked.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe streamlines creating training materials, saving us time and money compared to manual documentation. It's a huge time saver, reducing my time spent by about 70%, freeing me for other tasks.

 ### 24. Simplifies SOPs with Easy Editing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate .

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that Scribe is easy to use, which makes it straightforward to edit screenshots anytime after they've been taken. It also saves time by eliminating the need to manually capture screenshots and add them to written instructions in SOPs. I can easily redact personal information from these screenshots or change the focal point based on the instructions I want to add.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish there was a way to format the templates differently or select templates that make screenshots look more like an instructional handout, instead of a one-page guide. The initial setup was fairly easy, but it was confusing to configure the free account to capture all of my screens, not just Chrome.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is easy to use and eliminates the time needed to capture screenshots to support written instructions in SOPs.

 ### 25. Speeds Up SOP Creation with Handy Screenshot Feature

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how Scribe takes screenshots of any section that I am working on or want to present to the staff member that I wanna write an SOP for.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes the AI summary at the end doesn't fully capture the entire idea I wanted to get across. It may misidentify what I'm actually showing in the SOP, and it just requires me to do a little bit of manual work. So it's not horrible.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe makes it easier and quicker to write SOPs for my staff by solving the problem of spending too much time on them.

 ### 26. Flexible Content Creation with Excellent Sharing Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the flexibility when creating content: I can use the screenshots it automatically provides, or sometimes substitute other images for different purposes. The sharing features are great, with options to share printable versions as well as video and slide versions.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

In the printable version, there’s sometimes a lot of extra blank space when a step is text-only. That’s a very minor issue, though, and the benefits far outweigh any negatives.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Step-by-step instructions are made so much easier to create! It's a huge time saver.

 ### 27. Scribe Transformed Our Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chloe B. | Customer Service Team Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I don’t just like Scribe—I absolutely love it! Scribe has transformed our dull Word documents and static screenshots into dynamic, real-time screen-recorded documents. It has significantly enhanced our workflows, standard operating procedures, and instruction manuals. Capturing a process or procedure on your desktop is incredibly straightforward, allowing you to document steps as you go without needing to pause or restart. I also appreciate how easy it is to edit, add text, and include additional steps after the initial capture. After I introduced Scribe to my company, we now have a team of users making the most of the Pro version.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When using Scribe in a large company, various users across different departments end up creating their own scribes tailored to their specific processes. However, Scribe currently lacks the ability to create folders. For example, it would be helpful if a customer service team could have a dedicated folder named 'customer services' within the shared platform, allowing them to keep their scribes organized and separate from those of other departments.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe has been a real time-saver for me when creating SOPs and Work Instructions. It has also made it much simpler to prepare handover documents, which has resulted in a smooth transition process without any issues.

 ### 28. Simple to Create, Edit, and Share

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Simplicity. Simple to create, edit, and share.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The focus points, regardless of shape, only allow one point for each step. You should be able to have multiple points within one screenshot.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is solving the problem of documented procedures to follow. Creating a word document is good, but people will not read it. Scribe allows employees to learn without opening a file and just save a link as a bookmark. Also, it allows for employees to view the scribe via multiple formats which is good since people learn differently.

 ### 29. Effortlessly Automates Documentation, but Needs Speed Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KULDEEP K. | Accounting

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how Scribe is very time-saving. I don't need to capture screenshots manually; it automatically captures them for me and even writes the content. This saves me a ton of time when I'm preparing user manuals, training materials, and testing documents. It's really valuable for creating user guides and training materials with proper screenshots. The initial setup was quick and didn't take much time, maybe about five to ten minutes to get started. I really recommend Scribe because it's a very useful tool, and everyone should use it. It's very helpful, especially when creating user guide materials and other screen capture documentation as it saves you a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I feel sometimes when you are preparing a lengthy and long document, it is hanging and taking more time to load. That's where I feel that Scribe should do some improvement.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to prepare user guides, training materials, and task case documents. It's very time-saving by capturing screenshots and writing content automatically, helping me efficiently create materials.

 ### 30. Fast, Easy, and Flexible to Customize

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is fast and easy and very flexible to adjust things you don't like. It also doesn't have an intrusive AI that invents things.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I think sometimes the titles and guesses for steps are way off, and I can rarely use the piece about "step consolidation"

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a new system and are using Scribe to provide trainings and walkthroughs

 ### 31. Great for Creating Instruction Guides, but Image Editing Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa K. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I have created hundreds of instruction sheets, with images, to explain how to do important tasks. That Scribe does my screenshots for me, and allows easy editing of the instructions for each step, is such a win. A picture is worth 1000 words, right? I've loaded my Scribes on my internal support website, and created help ticket templates with the links embedded, saving time and making the answers easy for our users to follow.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I find the image editing tool to be cumbersome. When I need to highlight various areas of the screen, or include text boxes, or arrows, or highlights, I find myself using my old tool and creating a instruction documents instead. I would love it if the strengths of something like PicPick were embedded in the image editor. The biggest con in our environment is that it is difficult to mask student PII which is inherently in many screen captures.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We get repetitive help tickets for simple tasks. Existing help sheets don't meet every need, as they can be more text heavy. Scribes are graphics heavy, but allow editing of instructions and are a great blend.

 ### 32. Easy Guide Creation with Some Screenshot Quirks

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It's super easy to create guides that I can share with our customers. Our customers aren't often the most tech savvy people, and it can be so helpful to give them focused screenshots to look at.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There are some lightweight UX quirks that I don't like: Sometimes the screenshots are too zoomed in. Sometimes it records too many of the same click, and i have to delete many of them.

I wish I could easily integrate the docs into other platforms (e.g. intercom). Also, I pay for a lot of other tools, and I don't think we can afford another subscription just for this. I wish there were some other payment plans we could consider.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe's interactive guides are super helpful for handholding our less tech savvy customers. It's way more helpful than a video they have to keep pausing when I want to coach them through a multi step process.

 ### 33. Intuitive, Easy SOP Capture and Editing That’s Quick to Learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Toni K. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It’s easy to use for both capturing the steps in an SOP and editing them afterward. The interface feels intuitive, and it’s quick to learn.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The video feature is not very robust but it gets the job done

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is helping us document our procedures; we have several employees close to retirement and this is greatly helping us get prepared for their departure

 ### 34. Automated Screenshots on Every Click Make Documentation Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I enjoy the automated screenshots each time a click is made. I also appreciate the ability to be able to go back and refine at any time. This means when a process changes, particularly a software based one that we have no control over, we can simply update the scribe with the impacted steps. I also like that you can copy steps and move to other scribes. This saves time for redundant steps across many scribes.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It would be great to be able to pause a scribe and come back. Currently, if my capture is interrupted by another task I am left with the option to either stop and start over later or continue and have to delete several irrelevant "steps" later.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it makes it easier and more efficient to capture and share instructions.

 ### 35. Effortlessly Create Manuals with Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I use Scribe for creating 'how-to manuals' for the church I work for. It allows you to create an online manual with ease, and it is far better than trying to take screenshots and add text to a Word document. I find it easy to use once I am accustomed to it. I also like the ability to pair Scribe with a microphone, which lets me talk while creating a manual and then edit my voice comments later.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Nothing, so far. I've only used it for about two weeks.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe simplifies creating manuals by eliminating the need for constant screenshots and text entries into Word, making the process easier.

 ### 36. Easy-to-Follow Tutorials, Great Aesthetics, and Smooth Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

My favorite aspect of scribe is how easy it is to follow along the tutorial. I also appreciate the aesthetics and have not come across any performance issues thus far. Many options for the steps as well

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have not come across any downsides. Possibly receiving more emails than I'd like to.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is helping my team with our OOO periods.

 ### 37. Easy to Use, Simple to Update, and Convenient to Share

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert D. | Level III, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It’s easy to use, simple to update, and convenient to share.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Cannot create a template, so each document has a cover page. (though maybe I am missing that option and am just blind)

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving a lot of time creating how to and instructional documents for clients and entry level employees

 ### 38. Organized and Visual, Needs Better Step Capture

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan T.

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like being able to use the option to add images and annotate them, as well as uploading short GIF videos of the steps we use. I also appreciate how easily we can organize it and add tips and tricks to the articles. It's just very organized.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When I'm using Scribe to capture the desktop, it captures way too many steps. Every click, it's capturing even if I'm just trying to move an image over. So I wish it would better understand that I'm just trying to move an image over to show on the screen or maximizing to make the image a little bit larger instead of capturing it as an actual step.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create guides for our team to assist end users efficiently, preventing knowledge from being confined to the IT team and enabling easy knowledge sharing.

 ### 39. Easy to Understand and Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

What I like best about Scribe is how it simplifies complex processes into clear, step-by-step guidance. It saves time, reduces errors, and makes knowledge easily shareable across teams, which enhances productivity and ensures consistency

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

“One aspect that could be improved is the flexibility of customization. While Scribe is excellent at creating clear guides, having more options to tailor the format or workflow to specific team needs would make it even more versatile

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe solves the problem of creating step-by-step tutorials quickly and accurately. This saves time, reduces errors, and makes onboarding or training new team members much easier. It ensures everyone can follow processes consistently, improving overall efficiency

 ### 40. Love That It Can Narrate a Video for You

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica H. | Payroll Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

That it can also narrate a video for you

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have not found anything I dislike with Scribe.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is making it easier to train employees on new tasks

 ### 41. One-Click Capture That Instantly Turns Tasks Into Tutorials

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dondi J. | Compliance Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how I can start a capture with the click of a button, do my task, and then end the capture and have a whole tutorial created for the task I just finished

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I haven't encountered anything worth mentioning as something I dislike. The overall website/app/concept is magnificent

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company has tremendously benefitted from Scribe by being able to create training documents for literally anything we want, in every category of the company's daily work scope, from employee creation to payroll entry to AR and AP to fleet management, safety procedures, and business tax compliance. 15/10 would definitely recommend!

 ### 42. Simplifies Documentation with Minor Navigation Tweaks Needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan L. | Director of Quality, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like Scribe's simplicity of use and ease of editing. It was easy to initiate, which I found really convenient. Creating work instructions and guides for our team has become much easier.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Some of the navigation is not intuitive, however, help guides were beneficial. How to initiate a scribe and how to store is not clear. The help access, which could assist in these tasks, is located all the way at the bottom of the access list on the left, making it less convenient to find.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe captures process steps to create work instructions, solving inefficiencies in documentation and lack of standard appearance.

 ### 43. Essential Tool for Creating SOPs with Visual Clarity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kasey H. | Accounts Payable Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really love the screenshots. I can select all 3 windows to capture. I also like that I can fully edit the captures. The screenshots allow a new user to see exactly what their screen should look like when performing tasks in the ERP.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The limited number of screenshots. Some of our processes require tons of clicks and we can reach the maximum screenshots quickly.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Scribe makes developing procedure manuals much easier with its screenshots feature, allowing new users to see exactly what their screen should look like during tasks.

 ### 44. Straightforward Screen Flow Capture with Neat, Useful Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The platform is straightforward and does a good job capturing your screen flow. It also includes some neat features that you can take advantage of, which makes it even more useful overall.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I’ve noticed that when I use Scribe to capture my desktop, it sometimes records too many steps. It seems to capture everything, even actions as simple as scrolling down a page. I wish it could better distinguish between the steps that are actually needed for the process and secondary on-screen actions that don’t really need to be included.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping us build a document library to house our internal SOPs, and I love the fact that when you attach a link, it can always point to the latest updated version.

 ### 45. Scribe Saves Us Hours with Effortless Instruction Creation and Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

We needed an efficient method to go from a thought process to an easy to follow set of instructions without spending hours editing. We also needed to be able to produce the output in multiple formats without a massive duplication of effort each time. We didn't have a lot of time so the solution needed to have a very short learning curve and be able to integrate easily with the existing knowledge sharing architecture. Scribe checked all the boxes for us and more! We were able to try it out for free and max out what we could accomplish then make an easy case to the powers that be for upgrading to the paid version. From the beginning we used it daily for both internal and external customers. It was so easy to implement that one demo is all it took to get other departments using it. I reached out to their customer service a few times and the responses were always quick. We have saved so much time since we started using Scribe.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

We've had a few cases where a scribe that was open for editing crashed/stuck/reset and changes were lost. This doesn't happen often though.Moving Scribes from one folder to another sometimes results in the Scribe not being found in either folder. Thankfully in these cases we were able to find them by searching then moving them again. The Scribe platform is still growing and developing and this means that certain features you think should exist haven't been developed yet, for example exporting pages to a PDF. I also wish Scribe and a more secure "view only" only mode without needing to add more team members.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe has allowed us to quickly and easy document processes and share the information in easily digestible formats.

 ### 46. Effortless Guide Creation with Scribe

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connor R. | Hardware Service Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find Scribe very easy to use and simple yet effective. I like how all the functions are great, easy to learn and teach, and they're also easy to share with people.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would like to be able to click through different windows easier and it track, other than that I haven't ran into many issues.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe makes creating guides easier by ensuring they're simple enough for anyone to follow. It's easy to use, teach, and share, effectively simplifying what used to be longwinded processes.

 ### 47. Revolutionized Our Training Process with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenni T.

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how easy Scribe is to use, it's very straightforward. I can share it with anyone via a link, which is very convenient. The ROI is easy and clear to see, and having my time back makes a huge impact. Scribe has significantly reduced the time spent on slow explanations and how-to steps. The ability to capture the screen, provide details on where to click, and the AI aspect are amazing. The initial setup was smooth and quick. I rate it a 10 out of 10, or even higher if I could, because it is an extremely smart investment for me and my team.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Not much to dislike about this system but I would suggest downloading the program to your computer verses the web extension which sometimes can be "clunky".

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to efficiently capture and share detailed process steps, saving time and reducing explanations. It's straightforward, easy to share via link, and the AI feature is amazing for clarity. The ROI on time back to my day is significant.

 ### 48. Effortless Team Communication for Remote Workers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really like the ease of use with Scribe, you just log in and it works seamlessly. The screen recording feature is particularly helpful as it automatically highlights the clicks I make along the way. The setup was super easy, with not much of a learning curve at all.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish that I could use my own voice over the screen recording as opposed to the AI voice.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe for easy communication with remote teams, simplifying updates and coordination.

 ### 49. Voice Recording + Screenshots Make SOP Creation Excellent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The combination of voice recording and screenshots makes this an excellent tool for creating SOPs.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Would love if I coudl imput our internal SOP format for it to fill in

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am transferring roles and needed to create many SOP's for my entire current role in a short amount of time. With scribe I can use my training sessions and do both tasks at once

 ### 50. Captures Steps as You Work—A Big Training Time Saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rickey G. | Lead Reentry Case Manager, Level III, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I can capture steps while I work, which saves training time.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

One challenge with Scribe is that, while it captures the steps, it is not very intuitive, and it would be helpful to have an interactive capture mode to resolve double captures and unclear connections between steps.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe solves the problem of spending extra time manually documenting and explaining processes by automatically capturing each step as I work, which significantly reduces the time and effort needed to create training materials and onboard others.
