## Scribe Reviews
 ### 1. Easy to Use, Simple Sharing, and Reliable Intelligence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It's easy to use and get started, it's easy to share your process with co-workers or your network. The intelligence rarely has errors & they are easy to correct if there is one.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

So far there is nothing I dislike about Scribe

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is solving SOP building problems that we have - we have converted to a new ERP and our old SOP's no longer apply. Scribe is making it easier to update our processes and procedures.

 ### 2. Easy to Use, Just Works—With Flexible Editing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ariel L. | Author Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how easy it is to use. You turn it on and it just works, tracking your clicks, even changing tabs if you have to go back and forth. I also like that you can edit it, so if you make a mistake, you can correct it without having to do it all over.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It can be a touch slow in picking up on things.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating SOPs and being able to show new team members how to do things has been great. Plus, we can save them easily in one spot and be able to send a link to someone.

 ### 3. Effortless Business Process Creation Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon M. | Senior Associate Director,, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how easy Scribe is to use. Creating a process by just clicking through my normal workflows is straightforward, and I appreciate the ability to edit the processes after the initial creation.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The amount of resources Scribe takes on my device is quite high. I run it on a PC at work, and it always seems to completely bog down my system.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe lets me train my teammates quickly and easily, allowing them to access and review the training whenever they want.

 ### 4. Effortless Documentation with Scribe, Minor Export Limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry S. | Technical Product Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I use Scribe to create knowledge base articles, and it makes documenting my steps really easy by doing it automatically. I love that I don't have to manually type out information, take and mark up pictures, or organize everything myself. The screen recording and export functions are valuable since they save me time by doing all the tracking and organization for me.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don't like that the export options don't allow me to export directly into my support tools. Also, the way the information is provided in the exported PDF doesn't allow me to copy and paste cleanly.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe makes it easier to document steps without manual work. I don't need to take and mark up pictures; it automatically tracks and organizes everything. I save time, creating documents just by doing tasks, with screen recording and export functions to make adjustments when needed.

 ### 5. Scribe: Effortless Documentation and Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that Scribe is free to use on the browser, letting me create a few things before deciding if I want to upgrade to the premium version. The premium option allows me to do a lot more. The app is really useful because I can click one button, and it’s always ready to create another process whenever I think of one. Scribe records everything on the screen, making things faster and simpler and reducing the hassle of getting everything down on paper.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Nothing, it achieves everything that it sets out to. Perhaps in the future, an AI tool to create the notes a little better would be helpful.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe saves me loads of time making step-by-step guides so that for training or colleague support I don't have to write long texts or be physically present. I can easily edit screenshots and add notes, creating clear processes quickly.

 ### 6. Essential Tool for Clear Process Documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian M. | Technical Director of Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that I can use the desktop app and the Google Chrome extension, and I like the ability to choose what it can see. I also really like that I can redact any personal information to protect privacy, while still showing exactly what's needed. I appreciate how quickly and easily I can use the features, just by clicking a button. I also enjoy being able to transcribe using my voice, making it straightforward to explain what's needed for each step.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The only thing I would say is that when creating documents, it would be nice if I could add a Scribe step in there where it can automatically take screenshots, versus me having to link a scribe within the document. But I don't have any complaints.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create step-by-step instructions, making it easy to show users exactly what to do for complicated processes or basic tasks.

 ### 7. User-Friendly and Efficient with a Small Glitch

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madhu R.

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I appreciate how easy Scribe is to use, with a very smooth and efficient process. The interface is very clear and user-friendly, making it accessible even for someone who's not very technical. It's really good for taking screenshots, pasting them into documents, and properly formatting descriptions for each step. I value how understandable the final output is for users, as the combination of visuals and written steps makes it accessible for different learning styles. Everything is clearly shown, which is incredibly helpful. The initial setup was pretty simple, and I got the hang of it immediately.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When capturing screenshots, it doesn't work well because it creates a step even when I click outside the box. There are multiple duplicate steps created just from clicking the mouse button. That's something that can be improved.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe for processes within my organization. It makes everything smooth and efficient, and it's easy to use. The interface is clear and user-friendly, making it accessible for different learning styles. I appreciate the combination of visuals and steps.

 ### 8. Incredibly Easy Tool That Turns Notes Into Clear, Step-by-Step Instructions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It’s been so helpful. I’m going on paternity leave soon, and I’ve been tracking everything I do while developing websites so my team can keep up the pace while I’m out. It’s incredibly easy to use, and the AI turns my notes into clear, easy-to-follow steps.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

So far, I haven’t found anything I dislike.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets me train my employees while still getting my own work done—two birds with one stone.

 ### 9. Incredibly Efficient for SOPs and Onboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sammi O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find Scribe incredibly beneficial for writing SOPs and playbooks, as it helps keep our systems clear and consistent. I really like using Scribe for onboarding and sharing processes with our contractors, ensuring they understand everything. It's also great for holding my internal executive team accountable to consistency in our systems. I also love how it saves me a ton of time compared to taking a lot of screenshots and making guides manually. The Pro version's ability to blur parts of the screen is really great when making processes, especially when I need to redact client data quickly. I appreciate how easy it is to use and how fast it is, as it just saves me time overall.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I like the interface for sharing within the Scribe account, but sometimes I want to integrate it with software we already use, like Trainual or import it into a Google Doc, since teachers use that a lot.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to write SOPs, create playbooks, and streamline onboarding. It saves me time by replacing manual screenshots with automated guides. The screen blur feature helps protect sensitive information, making documentation faster and ensuring clear, consistent processes for our team and contractors.

 ### 10. Effortless Guide Creation, Stellar Image Capturing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meg A. W. | Technical Support Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like the feature in Scribe that lets me capture images and steps while performing a task. This really saves me time and reduces the effort needed because I don't have to go to various places to capture screenshots, save them, and then upload them to craft the article. It captures the images automatically, and I can just delete what I don't need. It was also super easy to get Scribe set up initially.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish I could view my library of content in a side tab. So that I could easily grab what I need when I need it.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to easily create step-by-step guides with images, making it easier for people to follow instructions. It saves me time by capturing images and steps during tasks, avoiding the hassle of taking and uploading screenshots.

 ### 11. Easy to Use, Smooth Step Capture with No Lag

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya S. | Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy to use. It’s simple to capture all the steps, and it helps merge them and delete any extra steps on its own. Never lags while moving between softwares

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Took me a time to learn how to share the scribe. could be easier

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am easily able to share the process to be followed for certain tasks and document fast.

 ### 12. Scribe Saves Time and Simplifies Guide Creation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mat S. | Director / Service Delivery Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The time saving benefits of using Scribe are undeniable. I was previously using what I thought were excellent tools for screen capture - and they are - but using Scribe has cut the time it takes me to make a guide down to a fraction of what it used to be. Hit capture, do the thing, make a few edits - bam, done! Importantly for someone who already has a million tools, it took almost no setup and virtually no time to learn. Once signed up I was creating & sharing Scribes in minutes.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would love to see a built-in feature to use your own custom domain for Scribe sharing links. Some more robust options for organising your Scribes, such as folders, would also be nice. Finally, the integration with Confluence has some issues, but, to be fair, I'm not sure if those are on Scribe's side or Confluence's.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently we are using it to quickly create client-facing guides for every day technical issues or common tasks. Going forward we will likely also use it for internal guides too.

 ### 13. Efficient Time-Saver with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I use Scribe for walkthroughs and SOPs, and it saves time and editing significantly, making it much easier to get instructions out to people. It's very fast and efficient to put step-by-step instructions together. I like that Scribe is more than just a recording tool; it removes unnecessary steps and allows me to adjust the flows if needed. It handles clean-up and adjustments after recording, eliminating the hassle of editing that is usually needed with normal screen recordings. The initial setup was super easy too.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It would be good to add video recording features so instead of just still pictures.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe saves me time by significantly reducing editing and simplifies creating step-by-step instructions. It automates cleanup, minimizing the effort needed after recording, unlike standard screen recording tools.

 ### 14. Easy, Flexible, and Truly Customer-Focused—Scribe Listens and Improves

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara A. | Training Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the ease of use and how flexible it is. I also love the strong customer-focus aspect of it. I had used Scribe in a previous role, and was reached out to by their team for a customer-insight session since I was a Power User. They had taken my feedback seriously and even implemented a few features. In my new role now, I'm so happy we get to use Scribe! I've requested for it to be added as a tool to be used since my first week. Great tool for both internal teams and external teams.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There are a few small gripes where I wish the 'default color' used for annotations (like the touch-point or arrow) could be pre-set as a preference. And I wish there was a way to add your own image for the icon photo next to the Scribe Name.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's reducing meetings on walking someone through a process, and reducing emails of describing a process over and over again. Its always available as a Scribe to link, and I can embeds it into our Confluence Wikis, or share externally. Whenever I edit an existing process, I can easily edit the Scribe in real-time as well! Without having to re-share the link or anything else. Its my source of truth for training workflows, and saves me time from having to edit the process and update stakeholders on the new process, since if they have access to the Scribe, they'll see the new process I documented right there.

 ### 15. Easy, Accurate, and a Huge Time-Saver for Training Manuals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ciaran C. | Drainage Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

How easy and accurate it is when refining your form and how much time it saved me on sending out training manuals for new systems we use and for new starters. The accessibility for everyone is great.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The price is slightly high per month for me, and the "who can view this scribe" setting is a bit hidden

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its reducing the time it takes me to onboard people on how to use our systems, as well as training staff how to use updates in systems and saves me time and effort screenshotting and typing notes

 ### 16. Seamless Step Recording That Excels at Capturing Complex User Interfaces

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe makes recording steps very seamless, it does a good job of capturing forms where there is both text and clicking. It does an especially good job with user interfaces where there are a lot of items to click through that pop up on screen.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The ability to export scribe to other formats for consumption could be better (like taking it to PDF or Slides and other formats where you might want to do additionally editing or delivery).

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is helping document complex systems and with educating customers about how to use those systems. It is also for helpful for documenting steps that were used to configure items in IT testing so that they can be recreated exactly in a production environment.

 ### 17. Easy Screen Recording with Quick Text Instruction Edits

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is so easy to record my screen and quickly make edits to the text instructions. I like that I can pause and pick back up easily if I need to do other work.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish more features were available without having premium.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am saving time by not having to repeatedly set up new calls to train new team members. I also don't have to repeat myself, I can just send people a link and let them look through how to do something themselves.

 ### 18. Very Useful Browser Extension for Website Screenshots

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nancy C. | Training and Development Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find the browser extension very useful since most of my screenshots are taken on websites.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There can be more editing options to personalize the scribes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is helping me solve training problems and I can create a lot of training materials.

 ### 19. Effortless SOP Creation, Powerful Editing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Skylar L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really love how easy Scribe is to use. The capturing is accurate and fast, and editing Scribes is easy, even if it's a bit tedious at times. I like that we don't have to worry about formatting when creating the final procedure, as it's all automatically in the Scribe format. The features for editing images are robust, including redacting and editing the click targets. It takes out a lot of the building of SOPs by automatically recording screen grabs, clicks, and typed words, and it provides a clear, repeatable, and uniform procedure. The initial setup was super easy, kind of a plug-and-play experience, with the Chrome extension and desktop capturing both being very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It would be nice to be able to take existing procedures that we already have and have them be converted into Scribes using AI or something like that. It also would be nice to be able to export Pages. Additionally, there is a step limit where Scribe will automatically stop capturing, it would be nice if you had more steps/longer for more detailed procedures.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe automates SOP creation, saving time by recording steps accurately. It offers a clear, repeatable format without worrying about formatting, and has robust image editing features. This makes documenting procedures efficient and consistent.

 ### 20. Makes Documentation Easy with Crisp, Well-Cropped Screenshots

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg R. | Help Desk Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easily makes documentation with properly zoomed in and cropped screenshots. Also allows users to easily manipulate steps to add, remove, or reorganize steps and modify descriptions

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes you have to really cut out a bunch of extra steps it captures if you have not practiced the steps before the recording because it truly captures every click and typing act you do.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves a bunch of time manually using the snipping tool and messing snip delay settings because context menus will go away when not actively being highlighted with the mouse.

 ### 21. Automatic Screen Grabs and AI Action Descriptions Make Documentation Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that screen grabs are automatic and that AI is used to describe the actions I’m taking. It does about 70% of the work for me, which makes the whole process much easier.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It records every single click. Since I’m using an older computer and older programs, it will sometimes record a click even when nothing actually happens as a result.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m changing jobs, so this makes it easier to transfer my knowledge to the person who will be replacing me.

 ### 22. AI Screenshot Reading Makes This Tool a Time-Saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Prior to the AI improvement, this tool was not time efficient. With AI reading my screenshots and combining steps, it is so much better and I would definitely recommend

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Max step limit. It could be longer. Sometimes there are a lot of intermediate steps and I hit the max, but that isn't an issue with the AI tool sifting those out

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding. we had zero onboarding documents before this

 ### 23. Effortless Real-Time Documentation with Clear Steps and Transcription

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe takes a task I usually procrastinate on, documentation, and makes it much less painful. Instead of having to run through a “sample case,” I can create a Scribe while I’m doing the real process in real time. I like that it captures steps as I work and turns them into something clear and usable without interrupting my flow. The transcription piece has been especially helpful since I tend to narrate my processes anyway, so talking through what I’m doing and having that turn into documentation feels very natural. The screenshots and step-by-step format also make it easier to share instructions with people who have different levels of technical comfort.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Because it captures everything, it can sometimes capture too much. If I move quickly, correct myself, or jump around, I usually need to go back and clean things up. I’ve also had moments where I forgot to stop a capture or accidentally deleted an active process mid-task. I wish there were a way to recover or access an accidentally deleted capture in the moment before it’s saved as a Scribe, even briefly. Editing is straightforward overall, but longer workflows still take some time to polish. I’d also like more flexibility in formatting for situations where the documentation needs to be more formal or externally facing.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe solves the “I’ll document this later” problem, which usually means “never.” Being able to document real workflows as they happen means the instructions are accurate and current. That’s reduced follow-up questions, improved consistency, and saved time that would otherwise be spent re-explaining the same steps.

 ### 24. Comprehensive and nice user guide which can be made instantly!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

User friendly interface, easy to use without the need to read through manual or whatever to learn. And can share the link to other readers but I still can amend and update the content as needed.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

there is version history that you can load back your previous save, while sometimes I wish to load back just the previous step that I made it wrong but seems that I cannot do this.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Save me lots of time to capture the screenshot without the need to put it in a word document when creating the user guide. It also allows pdf generation so that I can make a nice document for record.

 ### 25. Give Scribe a Try - Definitely Worth It

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is easy to get started. Once you've created your account, you simply start capturing your information. No detailed instruction manual required.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I really haven't come across any down sides to using Scribe, the only thing that can be more of a nuisance is being interrupted while in the middle of a rather long capture. Coworkers needing information on the screen you're capturing.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company is creating a new workflow process while also switching to a new user database. By being able to capture screens, edit them to contain specific information and tailor how they are viewed is literally "life changing". I was skeptical at first, until I did one Scribe then tried to create a similar document using the Word program. Incomparable, it's the difference between using CGI Software and Crayons. Scribe is also a time saver. Not only the time creating instruction documents or SOP manuals but cutting down the need for multiple virtual team meetings to discuss company changes. Highly recommend Scribe.

 ### 26. Effortless SOP Creation with Screenshots and Full-Screen Recording

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastián T. | Senior Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how easily I can make SOPs for different processes, the fact that I can do it taking screenshots and even download an app for me to record mi entire computer is awesome!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It would be better if I can add more than 1 click target so I can include more simple steps in the same image

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documentin processes across the accounting cycle more efficiently and giving clarity to it

 ### 27. Helpful AI Commentary and UI, but Performance Can Be Glitchy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Automatic AI commentary is helpful as well as the online UI.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Performance is less than optimal overall. The website can be glitchy, especially when I try to add new captures to an existing process. In addition, the integration with Windows feels limited: there’s little control over delays in screen captures, and it’s difficult to set specific capture settings on a per-application basis.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m creating a procedure guide for my department, and many of our processes involve a lot of clicks. Scribe helps me document everything at a granular level, so the steps are clearly captured and easy to follow.

 ### 28. Easy to Use but PDF Exports Need Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that Scribe is easy to use and edit, which makes it self-explanatory and doesn't need further examples. It makes creating instructions for other employees straightforward. The initial setup was very easy, contributing to its user-friendliness.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When I export it to a PDF, the page breaks are wonky and not after each slide so that makes them difficult to understand for those I send them to.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe for making instructions for employees. It's easy to use and edit, which is self-explanatory, but exporting to PDF has wonky page breaks making them hard to understand.

 ### 30. Streamlines Documentation with Customizable Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana Z. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that Scribe helps me easily capture the step-by-step workflow when I'm creating knowledge center documents. The experience is great because I can create documents while testing the app, so I save time by doing two things together. I like that it's fully customizable and that I can add more steps after the first capture if I miss anything. If there's an update or I need to make changes, I can update the document without having to recreate it. Also, the initial setup was easy.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I think the auto-generated instructions for the steps can be improved. They could be more descriptive.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe helps me easily capture step-by-step workflows. I save time by creating documents while testing the app. The feature that allows adding more steps makes it flexible to update the documents without recreating them.

 ### 32. Effortless Manual Creation, Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oskar K.

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like the seamless integration in the browser and the ability to record desktop applications. Scribe makes it easy to create manuals for the software we use at our company. I really appreciate how you can activate the extension with just two clicks, and you're immediately ready to record. Plus, it shows me which actions were captured, which gives me more control. It's also very easy to edit afterwards, which is a big time saver.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Putting a few steps together into a GIF with AI doesn't give me any control to emphasize certain things. I want to be able to slow down transitions and highlight something before proceeding.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to quickly create manuals that are easily editable and sharable. It seamlessly integrates with browsers and records desktop applications, eliminating the need for manual screenshots and enhancing efficiency.

The best part about Scribe is how much time is saves you. Saves time instead of taking screenshots. We are able to document processes and share them quicker than setting up a meeting. And you can be as thorough as you need to with its editability. I find I am using it more and more often.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There was only one instance instead of sharing the link, I accidentally granted a license to another user who did not have one. But that was my first time using the platform with no training.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is helping us document processes that were previously undocumented. And its helping us train useres with the correct processes with each click documented through scribe.

I love scribe because of how easy it is to use. The program is very thorough and allows for easy edits

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes its hard to maneuver around to find where my scribes are or my other teammates scribes are

The payroll manager is leaving and I am taking her place. SHe has set up scribes for all of her tasks so I have instructions to look at while Im learning how to do her job. Its brilliant

 ### 37. Easy to Use and a Real Time Saver-Wished I Had This Years Ago!!!!!!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is very easy to use and is a time saver.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Need to send pdf trainings out a lot and the combined screens into one does not work for that function.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is able to create training documents for a large volume of persons who work remotely or across various offices. It is an easy tool to use so has saved so many hours for project based training needed. Pricing is fair for the robust nature of the program.

 ### 38. Versatile Features with Improvement Area in Video Recording

**Reviewed by:** Sarah B. | Receptionist Intern Program, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like the scroll, movie, and slide feature in Scribe because people learn via different formats, so this is helpful to cater to different audiences. As a beginner, I know how to capture, use the desktop application, edit steps, and add tips.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would like an option to video record guides

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to document how-to guides for internal teams, aiming to curate easy-to-follow instructions. I like the scroll, movie, and slide feature because people learn via different formats, which is helpful to cater to different audiences.

 ### 39. Intuitive and Time-Saving Tutorial Creator

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia A.

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that Scribe is very intuitive and easy to use. I love the editing feature and the ability to pause my Scribe if I get distracted during my workday. The step-by-step tutorials pick up steps I wouldn't have thought were helpful for sharing, making it a game changer for saving time and releasing training material more quickly. Setting up Scribe was also super easy.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I think it would be great if there was an 'undo' option in case you accidentally delete a slide. It would also be useful to have an option to not include text entries as steps, like all the spacing required during entering text fields.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to set up digital systems, enhancing efficiency. It's intuitive and easy to use. The editing feature and pausing capability are great. The step-by-step tutorials identify helpful steps for sharing, saving time and speeding up release of training materials.

 ### 40. Streamlines Documentation but Needs Consistent Platform Experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like Scribe's ability to click through a process and have it transcribe into a document that I can share. It's super helpful to be able to click through and talk through a process as I'm going through it.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There seems to be a gap between the desktop and web. When I'm editing a Scribe on the web browser but need to add something from a desktop, the transition is not as seamless as I would like it to be.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe simplifies creating how-to documents and walkthroughs for accounting processes to share with other members of the organization.

 ### 41. Effortless SOP Creation with Automatic Guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathanial L. | Teacher of IT & Computer Science, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how easy Scribe is to use. I just hit start and perform the necessary function or SOP, and then the information is automatically recorded and a guide is generated. The ability to make clear, easy-to-follow guides with automatic screenshots and AI-generated instructions saves me time compared to creating guides manually. It's especially beneficial for sharing detailed guides and processes remotely, which is crucial for working with an internationally displaced team.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would prefer a Firefox extension as I routinely use this browser over Chrome.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe creates clear guides with automatic screenshots and AI instructions, saving me time. It helps share detailed guides remotely with my team, crucial due to displacement.

 ### 42. Effortless Documentation with Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how easy Scribe is to use, especially for recording audio and having it record the text to go along with the photo. It's an excellent product. I find Scribe very efficient and easy to export to PDF, which is great for our libraries. Sharing with team members is straightforward, and the initial setup was easy, making it simple to understand how the system works. The ability to add text alongside photos adds speed and is the most effective way to communicate the steps involved.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There is nothing I would say I do not like about Scribe.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to document processes or instructions for team handoffs. It's efficient, easy to use, export as PDF, and share with team members.

 ### 43. Quick Setup and Efficient Document Sharing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pieter V.

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I use Scribe to document steps that clients are supposed to follow. It reduces the amount of calls I get and the time I spend trying to explain something to a user. I do something once on Scribe and can send it to everybody. I like that it's quick and easy to use, and it screenshots every time I click. It's very customizable, which helps me add detailed explanations, tips, and warnings in the scribes. It gives me time to do other important tasks. The initial setup was very easy and quick, not difficult to set up or learn.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish it was more customizable, like having arrows or more color options for boxes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe reduces the number of calls and time spent explaining things. I use it to document steps once and share with clients, freeing up time for other important tasks and providing detailed instructions.

 ### 44. Effortless Tutorial Creation, but Requires Keystroke Precision

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devin K.

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that I can just go through the process for myself and then go back and edit for clarity. I appreciate that I don't need to think about creating explanations upfront. It helps because I can do whatever the process is that I'm trying to teach quickly and easily. When I have that template from Scribe, I can add my own touches and details as needed without starting from scratch. The initial setup was really easy.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When I'm creating tutorials with Scribe, sometimes the things I click on don't register properly. It captures every keystroke, and some of them end up being confusing or irrelevant. Also, some screens don't have a picture taken when they should. It would be helpful if Scribe could zoom out a bit and focus more on the goals of the process rather than just the exact keystrokes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create step-by-step tutorials, giving students clear directions. It enables them to work independently, allowing me to focus on complex issues.

 ### 45. Streamlines Documentation, Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keileigh B.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really appreciate that Scribe is a huge time saver, cutting back my time spent making training materials by approximately 70%, which gives me time to do other things. The screen capture feature is fantastic and makes life so much easier. I also like that I can censor sensitive information, which is really handy. Setting up Scribe was super easy; I just signed up and got started right away.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There are times it doesn't capture buttons on the screen. Like when you're doing a drop down and have to click a check mark to close the drop down, it doesn't tend to pick up on the check being clicked.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe streamlines creating training materials, saving us time and money compared to manual documentation. It's a huge time saver, reducing my time spent by about 70%, freeing me for other tasks.

 ### 46. Simplifies SOPs with Easy Editing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate .

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that Scribe is easy to use, which makes it straightforward to edit screenshots anytime after they've been taken. It also saves time by eliminating the need to manually capture screenshots and add them to written instructions in SOPs. I can easily redact personal information from these screenshots or change the focal point based on the instructions I want to add.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish there was a way to format the templates differently or select templates that make screenshots look more like an instructional handout, instead of a one-page guide. The initial setup was fairly easy, but it was confusing to configure the free account to capture all of my screens, not just Chrome.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is easy to use and eliminates the time needed to capture screenshots to support written instructions in SOPs.

 ### 47. Speeds Up SOP Creation with Handy Screenshot Feature

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how Scribe takes screenshots of any section that I am working on or want to present to the staff member that I wanna write an SOP for.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes the AI summary at the end doesn't fully capture the entire idea I wanted to get across. It may misidentify what I'm actually showing in the SOP, and it just requires me to do a little bit of manual work. So it's not horrible.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe makes it easier and quicker to write SOPs for my staff by solving the problem of spending too much time on them.

 ### 48. Flexible Content Creation with Excellent Sharing Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the flexibility when creating content: I can use the screenshots it automatically provides, or sometimes substitute other images for different purposes. The sharing features are great, with options to share printable versions as well as video and slide versions.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

In the printable version, there’s sometimes a lot of extra blank space when a step is text-only. That’s a very minor issue, though, and the benefits far outweigh any negatives.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Step-by-step instructions are made so much easier to create! It's a huge time saver.

 ### 49. Scribe Transformed Our Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chloe B. | Customer Service Team Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I don’t just like Scribe—I absolutely love it! Scribe has transformed our dull Word documents and static screenshots into dynamic, real-time screen-recorded documents. It has significantly enhanced our workflows, standard operating procedures, and instruction manuals. Capturing a process or procedure on your desktop is incredibly straightforward, allowing you to document steps as you go without needing to pause or restart. I also appreciate how easy it is to edit, add text, and include additional steps after the initial capture. After I introduced Scribe to my company, we now have a team of users making the most of the Pro version.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When using Scribe in a large company, various users across different departments end up creating their own scribes tailored to their specific processes. However, Scribe currently lacks the ability to create folders. For example, it would be helpful if a customer service team could have a dedicated folder named 'customer services' within the shared platform, allowing them to keep their scribes organized and separate from those of other departments.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe has been a real time-saver for me when creating SOPs and Work Instructions. It has also made it much simpler to prepare handover documents, which has resulted in a smooth transition process without any issues.

 ### 50. Simple to Create, Edit, and Share

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Simplicity. Simple to create, edit, and share.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The focus points, regardless of shape, only allow one point for each step. You should be able to have multiple points within one screenshot.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is solving the problem of documented procedures to follow. Creating a word document is good, but people will not read it. Scribe allows employees to learn without opening a file and just save a link as a bookmark. Also, it allows for employees to view the scribe via multiple formats which is good since people learn differently.
