## Scribe Reviews
  ### 1. User-Friendly and Efficient with a Small Glitch

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madhu R.

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I appreciate how easy Scribe is to use, with a very smooth and efficient process. The interface is very clear and user-friendly, making it accessible even for someone who's not very technical. It's really good for taking screenshots, pasting them into documents, and properly formatting descriptions for each step. I value how understandable the final output is for users, as the combination of visuals and written steps makes it accessible for different learning styles. Everything is clearly shown, which is incredibly helpful. The initial setup was pretty simple, and I got the hang of it immediately.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When capturing screenshots, it doesn't work well because it creates a step even when I click outside the box. There are multiple duplicate steps created just from clicking the mouse button. That's something that can be improved.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe for processes within my organization. It makes everything smooth and efficient, and it's easy to use. The interface is clear and user-friendly, making it accessible for different learning styles. I appreciate the combination of visuals and steps.

  ### 2. Effortless Tutorial Creation, but Requires Keystroke Precision

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devin K.

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that I can just go through the process for myself and then go back and edit for clarity. I appreciate that I don't need to think about creating explanations upfront. It helps because I can do whatever the process is that I'm trying to teach quickly and easily. When I have that template from Scribe, I can add my own touches and details as needed without starting from scratch. The initial setup was really easy.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When I'm creating tutorials with Scribe, sometimes the things I click on don't register properly. It captures every keystroke, and some of them end up being confusing or irrelevant. Also, some screens don't have a picture taken when they should. It would be helpful if Scribe could zoom out a bit and focus more on the goals of the process rather than just the exact keystrokes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create step-by-step tutorials, giving students clear directions. It enables them to work independently, allowing me to focus on complex issues.

  ### 3. Streamlines Documentation, Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keileigh B.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really appreciate that Scribe is a huge time saver, cutting back my time spent making training materials by approximately 70%, which gives me time to do other things. The screen capture feature is fantastic and makes life so much easier. I also like that I can censor sensitive information, which is really handy. Setting up Scribe was super easy; I just signed up and got started right away.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There are times it doesn't capture buttons on the screen. Like when you're doing a drop down and have to click a check mark to close the drop down, it doesn't tend to pick up on the check being clicked.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe streamlines creating training materials, saving us time and money compared to manual documentation. It's a huge time saver, reducing my time spent by about 70%, freeing me for other tasks.

  ### 4. Simplifies SOPs with Easy Editing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate .

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that Scribe is easy to use, which makes it straightforward to edit screenshots anytime after they've been taken. It also saves time by eliminating the need to manually capture screenshots and add them to written instructions in SOPs. I can easily redact personal information from these screenshots or change the focal point based on the instructions I want to add.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish there was a way to format the templates differently or select templates that make screenshots look more like an instructional handout, instead of a one-page guide. The initial setup was fairly easy, but it was confusing to configure the free account to capture all of my screens, not just Chrome.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is easy to use and eliminates the time needed to capture screenshots to support written instructions in SOPs.

  ### 5. Easy Guide Creation with Some Screenshot Quirks

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It's super easy to create guides that I can share with our customers. Our customers aren't often the most tech savvy people, and it can be so helpful to give them focused screenshots to look at.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There are some lightweight UX quirks that I don't like: Sometimes the screenshots are too zoomed in. Sometimes it records too many of the same click, and i have to delete many of them.

I wish I could easily integrate the docs into other platforms (e.g. intercom). Also, I pay for a lot of other tools, and I don't think we can afford another subscription just for this. I wish there were some other payment plans we could consider.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe's interactive guides are super helpful for handholding our less tech savvy customers. It's way more helpful than a video they have to keep pausing when I want to coach them through a multi step process.

  ### 6. Organized and Visual, Needs Better Step Capture

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan T.

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like being able to use the option to add images and annotate them, as well as uploading short GIF videos of the steps we use. I also appreciate how easily we can organize it and add tips and tricks to the articles. It's just very organized.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When I'm using Scribe to capture the desktop, it captures way too many steps. Every click, it's capturing even if I'm just trying to move an image over. So I wish it would better understand that I'm just trying to move an image over to show on the screen or maximizing to make the image a little bit larger instead of capturing it as an actual step.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create guides for our team to assist end users efficiently, preventing knowledge from being confined to the IT team and enabling easy knowledge sharing.

  ### 7. Straightforward Screen Flow Capture with Neat, Useful Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The platform is straightforward and does a good job capturing your screen flow. It also includes some neat features that you can take advantage of, which makes it even more useful overall.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I’ve noticed that when I use Scribe to capture my desktop, it sometimes records too many steps. It seems to capture everything, even actions as simple as scrolling down a page. I wish it could better distinguish between the steps that are actually needed for the process and secondary on-screen actions that don’t really need to be included.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping us build a document library to house our internal SOPs, and I love the fact that when you attach a link, it can always point to the latest updated version.

  ### 8. Streamlined SOP Creation, Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana N. | Human Resources Specialist/Administrative Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that Scribe is simple to use and the tools for editing are excellent. Having the ability to hide confidential information provides accurate SOPs for clients. I also appreciate that the initial setup was easy. Scribe saves me time from using snip and even scheduling client calls for training.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would like an update on using the tools. If I make a selection on color, size, and style I would for it to save it for the entire process. Now I have to remember all the selections I previously made and select. I do use Snip tool. Because Scribe at times can't capture a dropdown list.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe for creating SOPs, saving me time from using snip tools and scheduling client training calls.

  ### 9. Streamlined SOP Creation with Zero Hassle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon E.

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how Scribe significantly reduces the time it takes for me to create educational SOPs for staff and agents. My workload is minimized because I don't spend as much time compiling and revising my own screenshots and drafts. The 'Guide Me' feature is incredibly valuable, allowing agents to follow along step by step without needing my constant oversight. This feature makes it much easier for them to understand processes independently. Furthermore, the ease of use and adoption of Scribe have been remarkable. I figured out how to use it right away, and I absolutely love the browser extension. The initial setup was incredibly simple, enhancing my overall experience with the software.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I find it challenging to track which areas have been redacted in screengrabs. It would be convenient if Scribe could recognize patterns and automatically redact the same information when it's consistently located in the same place. This would eliminate the need for me to manually edit each screengrab to ensure the information is properly redacted.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to streamline creating educational SOPs, reducing my workload significantly. The 'Guide Me' feature helps agents follow procedures independently, enhancing onboarding and training efficiency.

  ### 10. Intuitive and Efficient, But Slightly Lags on Large Files

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah P.

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how Scribe seamlessly integrates screenshots with text, allowing me to edit them easily and add additional steps. Creating organized and comprehensive documentation is simple with its ability to generate large tables of contents that link to various documents. The user interface of Scribe is incredibly intuitive and clear, which means I don't have to spend excessive time on design or formatting—it's all built-in. I also appreciate how easy it was to get started with Scribe; after reading just one short tutorial, I was able to launch and use it right away.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I frequently experience slow load times for images when using Scribe. Whether it's capturing a screenshot or opening it for editing, the process can be sluggish. Additionally, when working with longer documents, rearranging steps is cumbersome as it often takes two or three attempts due to page lag.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create organized, screenshot-rich training documents easily, saving time with its intuitive interface and built-in formatting.

  ### 11. Scribe is a game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael W. | Director of Platform Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is a very simple way to create detailed guides and walkthroughs. It's simple to to use and edit the screenshots. I also like that you can combine them into "gif"-style vids.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The site is a bit laggy at times. And it can be a little annoying to reorder steps in a large document, but zooming out in the browser makes that easier. Another thing that has been a little annoying is when you go to edit a screenshot, it automatically defaults to the "redact pen" —it would be nice for that to default to your last tool. And to be able to add multiple "click target." Finally, I wish there was an option to share Scribes with other teams — outside of the team you created the Scribe in — without having to grant permission to anyone with the link (someone could easily share an internal Scribe externally, and if the person has the link, they can access it).

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making guided walkthroughs so much easier. I used to create tutorial videos, and this is so much easier. It's incredible that I can simply update the text and screenshots, or add a new step, without having to redo a whole video or create a new PDF to send out.

  ### 12. Simplifies Slideshow Creation, Needs Desktop App Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Declan G. | Technology Aquisition and Deployment Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how Scribe simplifies my workflow, allowing me to effortlessly capture each step of the process with just the click of a button, making it perfect for creating step-by-step guides or slideshows for user manuals. The Chrome plug-in for Scribe is especially impressive, as it integrates seamlessly to capture web-based programs. This feature allows me to see in real-time what has been captured, ensuring I get the correct sections without any hassle. Additionally, the initial setup of Scribe was commendably simple, taking only a few minutes, which speaks volumes about its user-friendliness and accessibility.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I find that the desktop app does not function as well as the Chrome plugin and really needs improvement. It is not great at capturing windows that pop up quickly, which is a significant limitation. I would like to have the ability to manually trigger a screenshot or point out a specific part of the screen for capturing. Additionally, the initial setup was easy, but learning to share documents and embed them properly took some time, indicating a bit of a learning curve in sharing functionalities.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create and edit slideshows efficiently, capturing steps in real-time for software manuals, and the Chrome plugin enhances this by accurately capturing web programs.

  ### 13. Streamlined Process Documentation with Some Glitches

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt J. | Director of Financial Aid

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really appreciate how Scribe solves the problem of documenting processes in an organized manner, which was a struggle for us given our dated system and reliance on manual processes like using Microsoft Word or Zoom recordings. Scribe makes documenting processes not only more organized but also easy to read and access. I am particularly fond of the flexibility Scribe offers; it allows me to record scribes, add photos and links, and edit quickly, enhancing the adaptability and functionality of the tool. The feature enabling pages allows me to consolidate longer processes by grouping multiple scribes into a single document with a table of contents on top, which is extremely beneficial for process flow and ease of understanding for anyone who needs to read and learn from that documentation. This feature is especially valuable as it streamlines learning and comprehension of the available content at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There are a few glitches within Scribe where it won't actually record a scribe for us in certain areas of the software we use. Not every click made inside the software is recorded as part of the scribe, requiring me to take screenshots and manually add them. Additionally, I wish there was functionality allowing a team leader to edit scribes created by team members directly, instead of having to request changes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe organizes our process documentation, making it easy to read and access, replacing outdated manual methods like Microsoft Word and Zoom. It consolidates multiple scribes into a single page, improving process flow and saving time on manual documentation.

  ### 14. Effortless Video Creation, Fun to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naomi R. | System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I find editing videos with Scribe to be extremely easy, which makes adding or removing information effortless. The AI voices are not only fun but also very clear and easy to understand, making it enjoyable to use Scribe. Their intonation is excellent, and they help convey points correctly in the how-to and training videos I create for my company, which is crucial for effective communication. Overall, the ease of use, especially the point-and-click setup, enhances the experience, and I genuinely have fun using Scribe.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I find it challenging when working with Scribe on a single screen laptop. I often have to switch between applications to confirm information needed for creating a scribe. This process results in unwanted screenshots being taken when switching to applications like a word document, leading to a clutter of unnecessary screenshots that I need to remove. This issue could be resolved with a dual-screen setup, but since I lack that, it results in the creation of many redundant snapshots.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create how-to and training videos, making editing simple and enhancing viewer comprehension with clear AI voices.

  ### 15. Great Tool - Makes Writing Step by Step Guides Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bridgette F. | Solutions Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is super easy to use and it was easy to get set up. In my role, I need to create a lot of different step by step (how to) guides for our users and scribe makes it so easy. I don't have to take screenshots of every step, scribe does it for me and scribe highlights exactly where you click and what URL you are on. It's also great because it recognizes the names of the buttons and helps write part of the steps. What I love most is that if I do need to take a screenshot or include something that wasn't captured by scribe, I can upload it myself. It's super easy for me to embed into our help articles with html. I can also brand our scribes with our logo.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It cannot capture if you are working in an extension

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making how-to guides easier to create. Saves time!

  ### 16. User-Friendly Process Documentation Tool with Minor Lag Issues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josie Q. | Manager, Facilities & IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I appreciate the ease of use and the way Scribe captures screenshots of all my actions seamlessly. This is particularly helpful for documenting processes and creating legacy documents for my work. Documenting steps on my desktop or browser is straightforward and greatly aids in process documentation.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I didn't find the free version entirely sufficient for my needs, particularly when it comes to sharing documents or exporting them to PDF. The process of making the documents usable was lacking. Additionally, the voice dictation feature tends to lag on my computer, which is frustrating. I also wish I could edit screen captures on the fly rather than having to wait until later. The cost for a small team is expensive, as a not for profit. I will have to check if there is NFP pricing.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I document work processes easily, creating legacy documents for smooth transitions post-retirement. Scribe automates steps documentation with ease.

  ### 17. Makes training staff so much simpler

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellie S. | Operations Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Step by step guides are made while you're doing work you'd already do, so it doesn't take extra time out of your day to complete them.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Its probably a bit too specific in the descriptions it makes for each step, so i do have to edit them quite a lot, but that takes way less time than screenshotting and writing up from scratch.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business is new, so we're in the process of setting up new systems and defining our processes. This is helping us document all of our processes as we develop them, without any extra effort or time spent.

  ### 18. Quick Startup and Easy-to-learn

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larry K. | Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the intelligence behind the systems at work. It is super simple to start making scribes. I have used it frequently as we are launching a new app that needs tutorials on how to use it. It has been seamless to implement into my daily routine.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The mobile version of scribe creation is a little cumbersome as it has you choosing screenshots which is ok but just not as easy as the web version.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to make tutorials for common or complicated tasks. It is also allowing me to create a "how to" hub for our company app that will help with limited training timeframes.

  ### 19. Effortless Walkthroughs with Editable Screenshots, But Needs Better Highlighting Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the fact that I can not only get screenshots along with AI generated descriptions auto logged as I walk through a process, but that I can also update the descriptions and change the click position on the screenshot if needed.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish it would also allow me to highlight areas without requiring me to click on something in order to capture the screenshot, especially at the end of a walkthrough or tutorial when there is nothing left to click on.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe enables me to create process documents that incorporate screen captures, making it simple to generate step-by-step instructions. This has been especially useful for training my customer support team.

  ### 20. Easy to Use, Great for Capturing On-Screen Processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy to use, great way to capture processes on screen

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It doesn't always capture exactly what I need but I can upload screenshots if I need to.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since I work remote, I don't have the option of walking to someone's desk to show them how to do something. Scribe makes it simple to show them without having to do it live.

  ### 21. Save Time and Communicate Clearly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Terrill G. | Educational Technologist in Residence, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like the integration into my browser and ease of creating and publishing a new guide. I have also been testing out the video option and believe it will be helpful for embedding content and sharing in a more public space. In the meantime, the sharing options are also easy to navigate and allow you to easily determine the audience.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I ran into an issue when I went to embed the video as I had not shared the Scribe on the other tab. Perhaps a pop-up on that tab to remind you to share or some kind of an alert that lets you know that it has not been shared would be helpful.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not required to have as many support calls and meetings once I create the scribe. I also like the time parameters listed to let the end user know that this process will only take # seconds, which gives the end user confidence and encourages them to try the process before attempting to schedule a meeting.

  ### 22. Outstanding Time-Saver!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | Associate Minister of Worship, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The time-saving nature of it is outstanding

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Editing the screenshots (especially changing the highlighted / clicked points) could be a little simpler

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time in making processes simpler to explain. My job involves a lot of technical aspects to it, which can create a bottleneck. This allows me to easily show other staff, and the volunteers that I manage, how to do things.

  ### 23. Great for Editing, but Adding Missed Steps Could Be Easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy to use and edit. I love that it is easy to integrate into Confluence. I also love the "guide me" feature for users

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish it were easier to add in a missed step. If I want a different screenshot added, I just have to take it myself using the snipping tool, and then I lose the mouse locator icon.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a part of the company's learning and development team. i use it all the time to post step-by-step instructions of how to access things on different programs or teach them how to use tools and features.

  ### 24. Easy, Effective Step-by-Step Workflow Creation with Screenshot Instructions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It's an easy effective way to create workflows with step by step, screenshot instructions

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish there was a way to add new screenshots directly from the editing doc phase

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating workflows and instructions

  ### 25. Scribe has been a Great Resource for Corporate training materials

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is an incredibly valuable tool that simplifies documentation and workflow automation. What I like best about Scribe is its ability to effortlessly capture step-by-step processes and convert them into clear, shareable guides. The intuitive interface makes it easy to record actions without any hassle, saving time and ensuring consistency across teams.
Another standout feature is the automatic screenshot and annotation capabilities, which eliminate the need for manual documentation. Its integration with various platforms and seamless collaboration features make it an essential tool for anyone looking to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Overall, Scribe is a game-changer for documentation and process management, making workflows smoother and more accessible to everyone

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Importing already existing documents into Scribe is a limitation of scribe. Due to this you will have to recreate all documents from scratch and drag and drop screenshots are not available at this time in Scribe.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is solving several issues for our company including: Ease of use for the user, how quickly we can push out new documents, and has helped create easier to understand instructions.

  ### 26. Love this Helpful Technology!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is wonderful for explaining complex or simple processes in a career, especially with all the drawing tools and redacting tools that can be used on screenshots or the desktop clippings it takes for you as you work. It's super easy to proceed through procedures and have it capture what I am doing.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It doesn't always capture the screen in the window I would like (it zooms in too much or not enough)

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to explain complex steps to anyone that might cover my role when I am out of the office

  ### 27. User-Friendly Interface, But Needs Smoother Workflow and More Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how easy it is to use it. very friendly interface. I would like to see more features added in the future.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

sometimes steps could be jumpy, i have to use screenshots to fill up the gaps.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I dont have to record video of me talking and working thru the file. i can just go thru the actions and explain it in more 'professional' terms.

  ### 28. A timesave for sure !

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

With a click of a button, every step made is recorded with clear screenshots. I've been using the product for about a month, and it has made my tasks a lot easier. PowerPoint presentations are much easier to make as I can do a task, then simply use the screen shots that I need by copy and paste. Training material is much easier and I don't forget any steps needed to do the complete task. I'm sure that I can find even better ways to utilize the software as I work with it more. I do like being able to pause the recording during a task, many times we may have to go to another program and we don't need those included to only have to be deleted later.

Loading the application was very simple and putting the icon in the tray makes it very easy to use with any program. I haven't need to contact Customer Support as of now. This is a program that I use at least once a week and sometimes more.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The editing is a bit clumsy and takes a bit of time to get used to it. I also don't like having to remove a red bubble on every screenshot. That would be easier if you didn't have to go thru the editing process to remove it.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Updating SOP's is much easier; a task that had been delayed due to the time needed to do it is now progressing at a steady pace. Material for a training series is being gathered in less than an hour for each module.

  ### 29. Good but needs improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lesbia P. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy to create SOP's and screen grabs. We have used it for a while now and our team appreciates how easy it is.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes it duplicates the screen grabs making the SOP long and having to edit a lot.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is so easy to create SOP's and visual guides on processes which is benefiting our boutique firm that is trying to scale.

  ### 30. Love using Scribe!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trasi K. | National Sales Training & Transition Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the ease of capturing process using Scribe. It simplifies my life.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

My only dislike is remembering to pause a capture if I want to "check several boxes" on one screen.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is helping us create training content and job aids for a system transition. It is creating a quick and clear way to create processes.

  ### 31. Easy to Use with Helpful AI, but Needs Better Scribe Combining Options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Simple to use and has AI to add to the task at hand.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I am unable to add to a scribe if I haven't completed all the steps. While I can add a screenshot, I can't merge two separate scribes into a single one.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing training and demonstrating tasks helps to streamline the workflow.

  ### 32. Amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The ease of creating SOPs just by clicking screen capture and I can still do my regular tasks at the same time. Im literally creating step by step instructions for other coworkers and future employees all while doing what I need to do. It doesn't take any other extra time away from my daily tasks. I do like how I can edit each screenshot and then when its complete I can easily share it with my team collaborators or send directly to another employee for step by step instruction.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I'm not a fan of how I have to switch to the desktop app if I want to screen capture from desktop apps. A lot of what we do jumps from web based programs to desktop while performing certain tasks and the fact that I have to stop my flow to go to the desktop version and then combine the scribes together is somewhat annoying.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company is growing quickly and we use multiple platforms. I started using SCRIBE to assist in building our SOPs and Procedures manual for the new employees to follow.

  ### 33. Love, love, love Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Theresa N. | Technology Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I just found out about scribe about 6 months ago. This program is so easy to use and fast. I work on a tech help desk and to help describe how to do something would take so long. Now, I just create a scribe and it does most of the work for me. It automatically takes screen shots and highlights what to click on. It records the keys I'm pressing as well. I also love that I can quickly edit the wording, if needed. With the paid version I can blur out stuff that I don't want to be seen and edit the pictures even further. Customers that have viewed the scribes I have made have really thought it was easy to follow along. It is also so easy to implement. It is a chrome extension for the free version, and a desktop version you download for the paid version. The free version is very functional on its own which is very nice. I just needed what the paid version gave me, but even the paid version is well worth the money and so inexpensive.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don't like on the desktop version of scribe when you are doing your capture, you don't know for sure that it is working until you are all done. With the chrome extension, you can see on the screen that it is capturing screen shots, but when you use the desktop version, you have no idea if it is working until you are finished.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This program allows us to quickly and easily create directions for our customers and are creating a knowledge base for our customers to reference when they need to know how to do something. This program is so fast to use. In the amount of time it takes you to actually do the action, your directions are created. Just a little tweaking possibly needed and they are done.

  ### 34. Brilliant Tool for Creating Guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb G. | IT Support Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe makes it easy to write and develop how-to guides that teach and empower team members in our organization. I have used it consistently on different platforms and across devices to help others with their support needs. Being able to share old Scribes and make new Scribes in mere minutes from the Scribe app has taken a load off from needing to be hands-on with assisting others. Finding scribes created by others in the organization is as easy as it gets with the interface.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

My biggest gripe would be using Scribe from a mobile device. I think it would be fantastic to use if it were integrated with the Screen Recording function instead of through Screenshots.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe allows me to easily document guides that can be shared with little time taken from my workload. Rather than spending time in-person to show how to do something, I can use Scribe to show others for me.

  ### 35. Scribe is the Ideal Platform for SOP creation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The ease of recording screenshots is fantastic. It makes creating an SOP super simple. What used to take hours taking screenshots, editing, redacting, and blurring, now takes minutes and the look is clean and professional.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Capturing a Scribe on a mobile device takes a long time because you have to take screenshots of every step. It's not intuitive and needs work to make it more user-friendly. Deleting multiple steps is cumbersome - it would be better if you could click several steps and bulk delete them.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making the process of creating SOPs easier and quicker. What took me hours previously, now takes minutes.

  ### 36. Much easier, but still learning the process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I have so many team members asking me how to find information, how to do a job, or for training. Instead of typing out an email I can just send them a Scribe, then load it as a PDF into our training folder, now they have the ability to find it anytime.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have not figured out how to highlight or Box a specific section that I want to show. When I do screen shots I can put boxes and arrows. I have not figured out if that is possible in Scribe.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe has sped up the process of sharing information with the team.

  ### 37. Corporate Procedures Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is very helpful when you need to have a detailed walk through of a procedure. I am able to quickly and easily record a task and share the link with those that need it.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

You cannot mark up an image or move the circle to show where you clicked after the screen was captured.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is solving the problem of not having standard operating procedures in place that are up to date. Because of it being easy to use and edit we can keep our procedures current.

  ### 38. Some Good Feathers

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The interface is easy to use and the prompts are great.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The screen captures do not work if there's a drop down box or other selections - it just leaves white space.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to do cross training and this is helping us deliver the training without creating long tendinous documents.

  ### 39. Overall good website capture 2 organized notes

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DJ S. | Information gatherer and software deployer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy to capture sections of youtube to review later. Not much else.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Not much in terms of organizing scribes, seeing detail view instead of big icons, doesn't have ai to ask ?s, doesn't have time stamps from when in a youtube video you took a screen shot.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capturing processes described in youtube video

  ### 40. Guaranteed time saver and value add

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I recently discovered scribe and am looking forward to build out more SOPs. I recently on-boarded a new employee and ran screen capture as I was navigating our CRM.. immediately received positive feedback and am looking forward to creating more content .

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There were a few screen captures that I needed to go back and edit because the text was not appearing, it was a blank screen. . Very easy to add in the corrected screenshot

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On-boarding SOPs and work instructions.

  ### 41. Document your process with ease.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is easy to use and very helpful to eliminate manual recording/preparing for your SOP documentation.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have noticed that when you edit a screenshot, let say add shapes/highlights the quality of the screenshot changes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual creation of SOPS. I have created a lot of SOPs before and I manually take a screenshot which is very time consuming.

  ### 42. It has the potential to be great, I like to use it for guides.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** faye M. | Revenue Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The fact I can put a guide together from capturing my screen. I can then make a PDF or shareable link for anyone to use. They don't have to have a scribe account.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It can be really slow sometimes, sometimes screen captures 'error'. The transcribe button for voice doesn't work effectively.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to create seamless guides/instructions for collegues to follow. Captures everything on my screen and describes what I am doing.

  ### 43. Scribe Has Saved My Most Valuable Resource -- TIme!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Industrial Automation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

There is no learning curve when starting out with Scribe. It is very intutive and easy to use. Highly Recommend. Easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Disaporinted that the mobile app did not aujtomaticaly capture sceen shots like the desktop version.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organzing screen shots and building SOP / Work Instructions
