Screwdrivers solves some especially 'nagging' issues for our customers. We provide Citrix based cloud applications, and printing items that require specific registration (labels, checks, etc) has often been a struggle. 100% of the time, we have been able to deploy Screwdrivers into the Citrix solutions, and resolve these issues immediately and completely. Screwdrivers really is a fantastic solution for you if you are utilizing a Citrix environment. The best part is it also makes ANY printing easier and better. The only downside is that if there is an issue with the Citrix WOrkspace application, you generally should reinstall the Citrix Workspace AND Screwdrivers. This isn't a major issue because you may need to install WOrkspace already, and Screwdrivers is not a very large install, so the additional time to install is minimal. We have been using Screwdrivers since at least 2005 as it removes the hassle of print driver issues on RD/CTX servers. Every client driver is supported, whether local or remote and removes technical printing support issues from the environment. More concentration can be given to more immediate needs/projects. The product will make your print admin life so much easier and let you focus on something more important. The software removes the need for testing or mapping printer drivers as most drivers will work out of the box. The different product versions gives you a range of features that covers almost any setup you could ever need. Once you understand the components the installation is very easy, most installations take less than 1 hour to setup. You can preconfigure all settings for your users or use self service for the users to manage their own printers. The latest additions or printer profiles as well as the advanced print features for print server printers will allow use for any feature that your printer supports without loading any driver on your session host. I was skeptical about Screwdrivers originally, a silly (but catchy) name to say the least. Initially saw the demo at Citrix, and was more impressed than I had thought.
