I love the user friendliness of the interface and how easy it is to customise the video you are creating. The easy on screen tool makes it simple to pause, record and draw as you go. I also like how easy it is to upload videos then send the link to someone or integrate with other sites (i.e. for internal training). I don't use it very often, but it's great to know I have a reliable software for when I do need to use it, that is super quick to open and start implementing straight away. I also love that you can add your own resources or access their resource bank for music, images, and videos. What problems is ScreenPal solving and how is that benefiting you? ScreenPal is allowing me to create instructional lessons for my students so that I can create a more inclusive classroom. I am able to differentiate student learning more. I have more time to work with students one-on-one and in small groups to really focus on their needs. ScreenPal allows students who are not in the classroom at the time a lesson is taught to still access the lesson without interuption. The reason that I like ScreenPal is because it is easy to download & Install as well as easy to use. I can capture my screen, provide voice over, and even trim videos within seconds. Screenplay saves so much time for me. At my ESL class, I use ScreenPal to make entertaining lessons such as explain grammar rules or a vocabulary game. I also record pronunciation guides and interactive writing tips to better assist my students in their practice. What do you dislike about ScreenPal? I don't like the fact that there is some option in ScreenPal that you have to pay for. What problems is ScreenPal solving and how is that benefiting you? Sometimes there were issues with video editing, but ScreenPal has smoothed out those perfectly. I can use it to record the screen without a hitch and this is perfect if you want to create a tutorial or presentation. It’s helpful in my ESL class because it allows me to plan creative lessons: it can be a lesson plan on how to teach grammar as a series of steps or a set of activities on how to expand vocabulary. The basic editing tools are helping me so much and help my instructional videos look polished, even with little to no editing experience! That is why I also use it for writing videos for students in which I explain to them what they did right and wrong.
