The easy-to-use screen capture software allows you to create videos, or capture screenshots when an image will do. The video editing is great for cleaning up my videos and adding some professional edits on the fly. The hosting platform is robust. When I am ready to share, I personalize the video player, add a custom thumbnail and create a custom link for my content. Screencast-O-Matic is like 3 or 4 different products in one. I can very easily capture feedback and send it to the team. I have found this to be the friendliest way to provide feedback. (No one likes a list of bullets.) It also cuts down on confusion and makes us more efficient. I never thought I would be the type of person to do an intro-video, but I have started to ask everyone on the team to create a short video. I like how you can use it at a very basic level or spend more time learning and use the pro features. After mastering the basics, I can now quickly create videos when I need to explain something to customers or colleagues. It is not easy to move the line to start editing inside the video. Installing the Launch Recorder was confusing. I would like to have popup Help Tips while editing. When editing, the interphase is not very clear and it's hard to select among the tools. I don't like that it does not create links that can be embedded on a website. Recommendations to others considering ScreenPal: If you need to embed video links on a website, you'll need to find a tool to export from screencast-o-matic to a link that can be embedded. When taping webinars or other live sessions I don't have to worry about making mistakes because Screencast-o.matic allows me to correct and edit as needed before sharing the recordings. I also like that I can blur images, narrate over and insert logos. My biggest benefit has been having an effective tool to create professional quality recordings to share with my customers. This multi functional tool offers me to have the opportunity to edit my videos, its essy to trim the videos adjust file types and not only that, it also allows me to record through my webcam or the screen itself so its a very handy tool, I would say one of a kind.
