After researching affordable alternatives we found ScreenCloud, and after some testing using a free trial, I was impressed enough to bring in our department head, who agreed to make the switch. The Amazon Fire interface was easy to use and integrated perfectly into our existing hardware, and the experience was well enough received that we've added ten new screens since making the switch in 2021. The interface has only improved since then with added features and the deployment of the ScreenCloud OS devices, which now include options to do almost everything remotely as long as the devices are connected to a network and powered on. Customer support is fantastic and quick to respond with solutions. Our devices are running every day during business hours and we implement 12 playlists over 17 devices. **What do you dislike about ScreenCloud Digital Signage?** The only downsides I've experienced were fixed after moving from the Amazon app to the ScreenCloud OS. What we had was slow, didn't work correctly and VERY limited on functionality. After doing some checking around, we came across ScreenCloud. We were given a great demo and our questions were answered. The ease of being able to modify our content and how quickly it can be done was a huge sell! We were ready to commit right away. It helped that ScreenCloud was a better system for LESS than what we were paying prior. Getting the system setup and online was simple and maintaining it is easy. We've actually added an additional screen to the property. Creating content is easy and we have even found custome content and playlists simple to automate with webhooks. Currently we have visitor announcments showing automatically from our calendar system and reverting back to our company video when teh calander is empty and it work really well. There are a number of features that can be easily used by experts and novices alike. Implementing ScreenCloud in our environment was very easy on a few different types of hardware. It was easiest and cheapest for us to integrate ScreenCloud with Amazon Fire Sticks. We have our screens running all day, all year round with no issues. We did have a minor and isolated issue with renewal which customer support was able to sort out for us quickly. **What do you dislike about ScreenCloud Digital Signage?** ScreenCloud's requirement on a consistent internet connection means disruptions can lead to display outages. This happens occasionally at our remote branches. However, this is not a screencloud issue per se. It would be nice if there was a local cache server or something like that. Also, it's worth noting that the service's cost can become a significant factor, particularly when scaling deployments across numerous screens. The system is great as you can remotly create and organize content and distribute to the clients. Our mother company in the US already uses the system for years. We are using the system on a daily basis and information changes within a short time frame. I really appreciate the interface and webportal. It is quite easy to understand and you can adapt to the settings very fast. Also, you can set access levels to single groups or sets or screens very granular. The support team from Screencloud is amazing. Starting from providing a test system for us to test, all the technical support back in that time also the whole support when we decided to purchase licenses was pretty good! All in all this system now saves us a lot of time and manpower to put together new content for all the project sites and main offices and to distribute them to all sites within a click. **What do you dislike about ScreenCloud Digital Signage?** There is no real negative point so far, except maybe the pricing model. But this we will have to see for the future. Currently we only use a few licenses for important offices. If pricing would be lower, we would have more devices we would like to use it with. ScreenCloud allowed us to use simple smart TV with the application from Android Store for the close to realtime updated KPIs. The usage is on daily basis. The implemntation is really simple, adding of additional screen takes minutes. SSO is supported, which is simplifying the integration of the solution. It's easy to update our digital signage (which we do fairly frequently) as well. Today, I had an issue that I could not figure out how to resolve, so I sent an email and expected to have to wait 3-5 business days for a resolution. Instead, I heard back within 30 minutes and the issue was resolved within 2 hours (after my delay in response). JC resolved my issue quickly and made it easier than easy by fixing it for me! **What do you dislike about ScreenCloud Digital Signage?** There's not much that I dislike about ScreenCloud Digital Signage, so I will provide a couple suggestions that we would benefit from: first, the ability to schedule certain content for certain days within playlists; and second, the ability to add certain content to multiple channels at a time (not using playlists). **What problems is ScreenCloud Digital Signage solving and how is that benefiting you?** Communicating up-to-date metrics to our employees in office. This helps us keep track of how we are doing and discover in real time what areas need most focus. ### 45.
