I started using Screen Recordings by Screendesk mainly for sharing quick project explanations, website previews, and workflow updates without needing long meetings or detailed written instructions. Since my work is related to website development and creative projects, screen recordings make it much easier to explain design changes, navigation flow, and small technical details visually.One thing I liked was how simple and fast the recording process feels. I can quickly record my screen, share ideas, and give feedback in a more practical way. The interface also feels clean and easy to use, which helps when creating short demo recordings or client-related walkthroughs.

One thing I felt could be improved in Screen Recordings by Screendesk is the overall customization and editing flexibility after recording. Main drawback is limited editing + performance overhead + occasional reliability issues.

Screen Recordings by Screendesk solves the problem of unclear, time-consuming communication by allowing me to visually show issues, workflows, or feedback instead of explaining them in text.

This benefits me by reducing back-and-forth discussions, speeding up collaboration, and making it easier for others to understand exactly what I mean.

I like that I can record videos from pages without the need to download them and it is very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Screen Recordings by Screendesk?**

The truth is that this application is very comprehensive and has a surprisingly easy-to-use interface, perhaps improve some tutorials for beginners but nothing that I dislike.

**What problems is Screen Recordings by Screendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What solves it for me is not having to download videos, I simply select and play the video I need and record exactly the amount of time necessary, it is very easy to use and really very convenient, and it is not expensive at all.

Latency is very less compared to others, quick drag integration of camera and drawing tools. Overall clean interface which I liked the most.

**What do you dislike about Screen Recordings by Screendesk?**

No tutorial given in beginning and no option to only use drawing and not camera. Otherwise, all good.

**What problems is Screen Recordings by Screendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to train students by taking class online and use Screen Recorder to demonstrate steps and write on the go. Also we use it to take test of students and assignments because it gives the option to montior and track student's activities.

This is by far the best alternative to use if your mac screen recording feature isn't working like my wasn't! Easyto use interface and files save directly - with no fuss

Nothing, it's quite a good screen recording platform.

The best alternative for myself and my team to use when we're either not using a mac built laptop/pc or when our screen recording function is down. We use this to create screen recordings that we send to clients and use to show tutorials in the onboarding process.

Ability to draw freely, place camera anywhere, less delay and easy interface. Also the video quality is very good.

Video saving is slow and in drawing bar, difficult to understand tools.

Record screen when making education video, showing step by step demo of a product, marking and highlighting texts and voice overing them. Online teaching basically.

I like that it is relatively easy to use. We have used it for employees working remotely. If they had an issue, it was much easier for them to "show" the issue than try to troubleshoot over the phone or make the long drive to go in person.

Haven't found anything that I really dislike just need to get everyone to board with the service.

It's allowed us to see "bugs" that employees are experiencing remotely.

I really enjoy using Screen Recordings by Screendesk because it's super easy to use and very straightforward. It's great for making quick screen recordings, especially for customer support or tutorials.

**What do you dislike about Screen Recordings by Screendesk?**

One thing that could be better is the editing options. They're pretty limited, so if you want to do more fancy editing, it might not be enough.

1. Helps to build customer tutorial videos. So I don't have to explain the same thing to customers again and again.
2. Helps to save time. It allows me to create these tutorials effortlessly, which saves me a lot of time.

Knowing exactly what's the issue the customer is facing, with the video is easier and faster to know how to help resolve any situation, avoid misunderstandings and have happier customers

There's a learning curve to know where all the features are located but overall nothing i really dislike about it so far, and it was fairly easy to connect with our ticket system.

Being able to help my customers  with their issues  and questions in a clear way and without dealing with large video files to download and send over email which was what I was doing before.

I like how it seamlessly integrated with Zendesk system. Now, we are able to indentify and inestigate bugs faster because when user reported those bugs they are able to attach screen records. And using the screen records we are able to quickly reproduce the bugs.

**What do you dislike about Screen Recordings by Screendesk?**

I think it would be very good if it has the built in video editor. So if the user need to crop or trim the video, they will be able to do it directly in this program.

We are using it to record screen. User will record screen if they face technical problems and bugs, they will record the video and attached to the support tickets.

This is extremely easy to download and use.  It has a helpful variety of free tools and has helped me make my online class much richer for students.  
This software does not have the same strange popups you get with ScreencastOMatic.

**What do you dislike about Screen Recordings by Screendesk?**

The capture time is a little short.  Sometimes this works well for me, but for others, I would like around 10 to 15 minutes.

It is difficult to deliver instructions and information in writing and know that everyone is going to be on the same page.  With this software, I can ensure that everything can see what I need them to.

Along with Recording the screen, this App provides the ability to capture the browser cache along with reading the console Logs as well, which saves additional effort to capture these details manually and sharing with other Teams for Resolutions.

**What do you dislike about Screen Recordings by Screendesk?**

Multi factor authentication feature is not included in the Plus plan which is offered, along with automatic data deletion which are useful features to be included in the Plus Plan as well.

**What problems is Screen Recordings by Screendesk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This single application eliminates the need to integrate multiple plugins with the ability to share live screen, capture console Logs with minimum coding required to integrate in the existing ticketing software.

The screen recorder software is very simplified and easy to use, and has lots of inbuilt features.

The sound quality is very poor. 
It also has a water mark which doesn't look too good .
