"Everything you need to block and manage content"

What do you like best about ScoutDNS?

It just works. It's simple to set up, and no one really knows it's working on the backend. We test occasionally just to make sure it's there, and it blocks the correct content. Otherwise, we have no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you want a set it and forget it experience, ScoutDNS is for you. They will take the initiative to address any issues and will meet with you face-to-face virtually to assist you and help you find the solution to any questions or issues you are having. What problems is ScoutDNS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Knowing our network is secure and not able to be used inappropriately is a great peace of mind. Knowing that people are actually keeping an eye on our system and reaching out with any questions or items to address makes the filtering of our internet a worry-free experience. We have had issues with our internet provider and ScoutDNS immediately noticed the problem it was causing and took the initiative to reach out and let us know. Nothing particularly. Only issues related to the fact it is a hosted DNS filter rather than an on-premises solution

If you have only a single IP address from your ISP can not have different rules for different clients on the LAN.

This is just a fact of life and in no way a bad reflection on Sout DNS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ScoutDNS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Web filtering on a Church WiFi system. Previously used onsite FW (Smoothwall Express) with content filtering. This can not filter https traffic.

Other solutions that could inspect http were either too awkward to setup with certificated needing to be installed on all computers or just too expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
