"Great DNS Service for a Church"
5/5
What do you like best about ScoutDNS?

ScoutDNS works really well for our church. We were concerned about offering WiFi and still protecting our youth. ScoutDNS has allowed us to filter explicit content and it is fast too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScoutDNS?

I have had a few issues with blocked domains classified incorrectly, but they have been easy to rectify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cannot beat the value!"
5/5
What do you like best about ScoutDNS?

We've been a customer of ScoutDNS since 2017 when it was ChurchDNS. We use the product for content filtering for a few of our networks. The service has been reliable and the support very prompt. They have added a lot of function over the years more than we actually use. It is easy to decide to renew each year because of all that we get for the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScoutDNS?

We really don't have anything to say here. Our use case may be simple but ScoutDNS provides all that we need and on a reliable basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Filtering for Church"
5/5
What do you like best about ScoutDNS?

It was straightforward to set up, and the dashboard provides an easy mechanism to customize which sites are allowed and see requests to verify that everything is working correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScoutDNS?

The fact that it filters via DNS makes it vulnerable to some workarounds, such as setting a different DNS server or using DNS over HTTPS, but this is inherent in all DNS-based filter providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent web filtering service"
5/5
What do you like best about ScoutDNS?

ScoutDNS is very easy to use - nothing to install, just change DNS servers that are used for lookups. It has many options available to select what content gets blocked and what content is allowed. We have had very few false positives. The logging of activity is very detailed. It allows different filtering rules to be applied to differnet subnets and/or locations. It is reasonably priced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScoutDNS?

I have not found anything that I don't like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ScoutDNS?

The management page is simple to use. I love the group lists for organization. On the odd time I needed clarification, the replies were swift and on point. The client logs have helped track down some of the exceptions that needed to be made thanks to the fine grain filtering available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScoutDNS?

I would like to select items in the log and filter based on selection. Easier than going back up through the menus. No real dislikes though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
