"A great plug-and-lay solution for BioTech"

What do you like best about Scispot?

When I was tasked with implementing Scispot for a biotech client in my previous role, I found many aspects of it to be praiseworthy. I was particularly impressed with the developer toolkit. Being able to easily integrate any molecular bio workflows and data into and out of Scispot was a boon. As someone deeply involved in tech, having secure plug-and-play APIs for LIMS and ELN at my disposal simplified many aspects of my work.

Ordinary LIMS often fall short when it comes to providing a scalable data lake, but Scispot filled this gap efficiently. Labsheets enabled me to store and transform vast quantities of data, a crucial aspect in our data-heavy field.

One of my favorite features was the inclusion of the Jupyter hub on Scispot. It was an invaluable tool for manipulating data from various instruments and other tools, with the flexibility of operating both synchronously and asynchronously. The Jupyter hub not only streamlined my data analysis but also opened up new opportunities for advanced exploration and processing.

In short, my experience with Scispot was exceedingly positive. It made my work much simpler and more efficient, all while ensuring a high level of data security and scalability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Scispot?

I like that I can customize my account according to my use case. Additionally, Scispot offers very flexible pricing to serve both academic labs and industry. The best part is that I can collaborate with my teammates in a structured way through Scispot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't have anything specific that I dislike. Sometimes we encounter certain challenges, but Scispot has an extraordinary customer support team. I can reach out to their science or engineering team anytime, and they are very prompt and efficient in solving my problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Scispot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scispot is a unified platform that allows us to integrate Labsheet datasets with Labspace ELN pages. It helps me gain insights into an experiment with all the details. "Best LIMS for big data and computational workflows"

What do you like best about Scispot?

I love Scispot's LIMS. It helps me automate my complete samples journey from inception to delivery programmatically.

Scispot also offers a data lake that any LIMS in the market don't provide.

We use Scispot's API to programmatically pull and push samples data from various CROs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scispot?

What do you like best about Scispot?

One spot for LIMS, Inventory management system, product tracking, SOP compliance and secure data sharing between clients and partners. A single tool to manage both internal and external stakeholders and processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not really a negative attribute. Our challenge was that we had multiple interrelated products and were concerned if the plug-and-play would work. But the team accommodated it with few customizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SciSpot aims to be a collaborative platform for scientific data tracking that can also be used for commercial purposes. This is helpful since material used tends to be used for both purposes and needs material tracking and trial documentation, but also because research gets pushed forth to production and it's useful to track where an idea came from.
