What do you like best about Planview ProjectAdvantage?

That I can not use documents that they have to be added as a link.

You get to setup up the product how you want - or you can do work with it out of the box.

Sciforma does a lot to make sure you are comfortable with the product if you don't understand something please let them know. The also take suggestions and implement some of them.

What do you like best about Planview ProjectAdvantage?

Three main advantages; Best practices to cover all the possibilities of Resources allocation methods. A Sandbox to Analyze the impact (resources and budget) of the various portfolio simulations scenarios. Ability to monitor and follow up on the progress of the Agile part of a project, from the Waterfall Project Manager's perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planview ProjectAdvantage?

Good to have workflow approvals through a mobile app. Although the system is html and it can be done, but it is nicer to have it from a mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Planview ProjectAdvantage:

Consider Sciforma Seriously. I liked that you can start using Sciforma even if your PPM maturity level is not very high by starting to enable only part of the features, while switching off the features you don't want to use in the beginning. but later on, it is possible to switch on the additional features as they become needed. all the features are already integrated in the platform. I also like the tokens system as it is possible to easily remove a project manager for example and replace him with three executors at anytime, which also allows payment proportionate to exactly what each user needs. Ideas gathering, Portfolio Simulations and impact Analysis, Projects Management down to the time sheets. Achieved better planning, continuous follow up, collaboration and visibility over the projects progress, and resources allocation tracking & control. What I like best about the tool is the web based collaborative project and portfolio management capability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planview ProjectAdvantage?

What I dislike is the fact that creating and editing project plans initially requires additional time to understand the nuances of the tools functions (much different than Project) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Assign dedicated resources, who have considerable project management experience to manage the implementation (configuration and customization). The entire business unit for the implementation needs to buy into the use of a tool like Sciforma. it allows multiple projects managers working projects all under the same roof, to know what milestones are achieved, in domino effect projects, and as well the up coming interventions for regrouped shutdowns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planview ProjectAdvantage?

tabs are not so obvious to jump from one to another and remember what are the sub-tabs . Cluttered information under some tabs. The project name under which I could be working one is not so obviously visible. Should I be interrupted and have to come back to it later, I visually have a hard time figuring out under what project I was working on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

before Sciforma, the project group was using multiple softwares as tools to service project managers, ie to generate business cases and setting up budgets, to generate schedules and progress reports, to follow up expenses.
