I like that it is a one-stop shop for applications. Applications can be created, managed, and reports can be run based on what potential families have said. We can run many reports, like decline/rescind reasons, number of applications, etc. We can also reach out to parents via text message or email through it, and export contacts to Excel sheets. I like that SchoolMint has many features that I continually discover to be very perfect fits for our needs as a school that's trying to move forward and be effective. The process for Returning Student registration feels like a tacked on solution, not nearly as efficient as the process for New Students.

Additionally. the "General Packet" function available for any other registrations your district may need is even more of a spartan offering that barely utilizes features found within New/Returning student registration.

SIS integration (PowerSchool for us) is overly convoluted and does not allow for any changes/updates mid-year. This is especially problematic when upgrading to major releases in PowerSchool because each time SchoolMint has been unwilling/unable to help prepare for these upgrades until other unnecessary thresholds have been met on their end during implementation.

When my users have to call in to the Support Linethey often remark that getting a hold of someone via phone is a challenge and support tickets created via are often dismissive and not very helpful either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
