Speaking solely about the app, because I am rarely in front of a computer during my daily use; added functionality within the app would be nice. Currently you cannot include an attachment when sending a loop mail Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pretty simple to navigate and access grades/assignments. As a middle and high schooler, I remember being able to easily check grades through this one-stop portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing I can think of. I'm sure it's evolved a lot since I've last used it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
one platform to get communication from teachers as well as the interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The GUI needs some work, maybe a bit cleaner and easier to use, maybe direct communication via email vs logging into the website to get information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The overall idea of the School loop was great, but implementation needs improvements. It was hard to find things, and the login system was somewhat hit and miss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A not intuitive layout to find things easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
School Loop really shines with modular page-building. School Loop makes it easy to create content that can then be dragged-and-dropped onto a page and rearranged. Any content that we'd add to the website would almost always meet ADA accessibility guidelines because School Loop can choose things like the web page's font size, high-contrast colors, layout, etc. School Loop also offers different pre-made page layouts that can give users more flexibility with adding and arranging content. Even though School Loop has an easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface, it definitely lacks practical functionality. School Loop has many quirks and workarounds needed that make it extremely difficult to train staff to use it effectively. For example, when editing a web page, the user needs to complete their content per section, then click the check box to exit the specific section. However, at that point in time, the content is not yet saved. The user is then faced with several options such as "preview," "save draft," and "publish and exit". If the user only previewed and didn't publish the content, then the content would likely be lost. If the user were to hit "publish and exit," then the content would go live without the user seeing the result; the web page would then remove the user from the page on which they were working. School Loop has too much potential for lost website content, especially when taking the product out of the hands of administrators and placing it into the hands of individual teachers. Lastly, many areas of the website have problem scaling well and adjusting between desktop/web viewing and mobile viewing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoy that School loop is integrated with both the instructor, student, and parent. I am able to check my son's grades but also get feedback on how to help him achieve better results in the future. I am able to assess how much school work he gets and how well he does on exams. I can pinpoint weaknesses where he can work on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is really nothing I dislike about this program. I enjoy that it is easily assessible with an app as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
School Loop provides a district with everything needed to run a school, communicate with families, educate students, grade student work and look at student records. This platform also tracks attendance - so it truly is a one-stop shop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The initial integration with Google Classroom was subpar. It is better now and seems to just keep improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that once you pass the learning curve it's really easy to use and quickly share grades. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
School loop is not as intuitive for people who are less tech savvy. There's a bit of a learning curve. It's not hard to learn but certain tasks can be a more complicated to get the hang of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
First, school loop allows parents, students, and teachers to communicate with each other easily. Next to each student's profile, there is a button for teacher to contact the parent of the student and other teachers that also have the same student. In addition, teacher can also see all the grades a student is earning. This helps teachers and parents to collaborate together to help a student to succeed in school.
I also like how teacher can post up assignments for parents and students to view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like how there isn't a way to save or transfer the calendar and posting from a previous year. This would save me time from posting the same assignment from year after year.
I would also like if there is a way for teacher to personalize their page on school loop, i.e. such as adding background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
