Schedio is shift scheduling software for teams that work in shifts: hotels, restaurants, clinics, security companies, retail stores, support centers and other service businesses. It started with hotels in New York City and is built for places where every shift needs the right number of people. Managers build the weekly schedule by department and job title. For each department they set how many people are needed on each day and at each hour, with separate rules for seasons and one-off events. Schedio compares the schedule with these needs and shows open shifts as soon as coverage falls short, so a gap is visible before the day begins. A draft of the next week can be prepared from the shifts people usually work, then reviewed and published in one step. Staff see their own shifts on their phone, add them to their calendar, request time off, offer a shift to coworkers or propose a swap. Managers approve or decline requests from one list. Scheduling rules, such as minimum rest between shifts, maximum hours per week and required breaks, are checked when a shift is saved, with a warning or a block as the business decides. A live dashboard shows who is working now, who is away, open alerts and handover notes for the next shift. Notes and alerts can be addressed to one department or to the whole location. Notifications go out by email, Slack, Telegram and WhatsApp, and employees can receive their schedule from the Schedio bot in Telegram or WhatsApp. Owners with several locations see coverage, overtime and scheduled labor cost for each of them. The interface is available in 50 languages. Pricing is $49 a month per location with unlimited team members, and the first month is free.
